“What does this town do for Halloween?” Lizzie asked, a surprised look on her face. “You really must be new to the town, if you haven’t heard about our huge, for this town anyway, Halloween festival.”
Luke’s face lit up, and he asked, “You guys hold a Halloween festival?”
Lizzie nodded and said, “Every year. The whole town gets involved, and it’s wonderful.”
“I can’t wait to go,” Luke said, then asked, “ Does everyone dress up?”
Lizzie nodded excitedly and said, “That’s the best part! Everyone is in costume! The people who run the booths, the festival-goers, kids, parents, everyone!”
“That sounds like a blast,” Luke said. “I can’t wait to go!”
“It’s so much fun,” Lizzie told him. “Me and my family have been going for as long as I can remember.”
