When Lizzie picked up Elle on the way to the bus stop Monday morning, the first thing Elle asked was, “How was your date with Luke?”
Lizzie grinned at her and said, “A lady never tells.”
As Elle’s face fell, Lizzie giggled and added, “Luckily for you, I’m not a lady!”
Elle brightened up again, and she said, “Spill the details, then!”
Grinning, Lizzie said, “We went to see that new movie at the theater.”
“Ooh! How was it?” Elle asked. “Was it as good as the book?”
Lizzie shook her head and said, “Few movies are, but it was still good. But, you’ll never guess who we ran into at the theater.”
Elle looked at her with her eyebrows raised and asked, “Who?”
“Deon and Sabrina!” Lizzie said. “They showed up shortly after we got into line.”
