Silvia blinked slowly looking at the man who was staring at her with such instantly that she felt she was going to melt under his gaze. Standing this close, she could see two faint lines on each side of his scar. The color of his one eye was different from the others indicating he could not see from his right eye. "Brave of you to come here knowing that we nearly wiped all the succubi from the world." He looked down and pulled out the dagger from the back of his pants. He calmly removed they covering and checked how sharp it was. "You....must be mistaking. I am not a succubus....I am just a normal human...." Silvia gulped as she took a step back but her foot slipped and she fell down. She looked at the man who still had cold expressions on his face. As he moved the dagger in his hand, Silvia closed her eyes in fear. She was ready for the dagger to cut her neck but a she felt the coldness of the dagger under her chin. "Not bad." As Gerald spoke two words, she opened her eyes and looked at him. He was sitting in front of her examining her face thoroughly. Silvia did not want to buy that he was letting her live because she looked pretty. She had soft features and this was the first time someone admitted she was beautiful. But living a life of a maid, she never cared about caring herself. Gerald removed the dagger but did not put it back. "You are lucky because I am letting you live." He told her who did not know how to react. "From now on, you are my slave. You will do as I say or else I will skin you alive." He got up and Silvia could feel herself trembling uncontrollably. "Please, let me go. I will leave this place and..." "And where will you go." He cut her immediately as he went back to sit on his place. His eyes were on her knowing she had no place to go. "Don't forget who am I to you. I could kill you when I knew your secret but I am giving you a chance." He spoke in cold tone and Silvia gulped. She could see where this was going and if this was her fate them she was going to save herself first. "What do you want me to do?" Gerald raised his eyebrow. "You are smart. Let's see , you will seduce someone and in return, I will protect your secret." He did not let anyone know who she was but as soon as he knew she was the illegitimate daughter, he knew he could use her secret. Her being a succubus was a bonus. "Who?" "Henrik. I want you seduce him. Do whatever you want but I want you to make him fall in love with you." Silvia stared at the man trying to understand his words. He was more evil than she expected. "I am your wife." Her voice trembled with anger and shame making Gerald roll his eyes. "Honey, you are not my wife. You are just a shame and you should be happy that I am giving you a chance to stay alive. If I went out and told your secret that you a succubus, you can imagine what those Lycans will do with you. At least I am telling you to only play with one man." He chuckled and Silvia made fists. "You, you are shameless." Tears rolled down her cheeks feeling the humiliation. "I am." He stood up and put his hand in his pockets. "Make a decision quickly. I don't have any time for your tears. Obey me and you can stay alive or I will make sure you won't see the sun tomorrow." He told her and waited for her to say something but Silvia scoffed as she wiped the tears from her cheeks. "I will choose death over what you want me to do." "Let's see." He rubbed his chin. "The guards will love to have a piece of a succubus." He told her as he walked towards the door while Silvia was fast to come to her senses. "You are not going to do this." "Trust me I can." He unlocked the door and Silvia stood up as she nearly ran towards him and put her body against the door making the door close with a thud. "I will do it. I will do whatever you want." Tears kept rolling down her cheeks. She felt disgusted by her words but she also knew what was going to happen if he revealed her truth. Without saying anything, Gerald opened the door and left the room. Silvia nearly fell on her knees and cried silently. She felt like sheep surrounded by wolves who were ready to torn her into pieces. The next morning, a maid brought her breakfast. Gerald did not return to they room and she also did not want to face him. But she made a decision last night.
