Chapter6. Mateo

When I got back from making sure Emilia went home safe, I went to my room to clean it up and get rid of all of the used condoms I had in here. I also took a shower and changed my clothes so I could go and start church. Fifteen minutes later, everyone was gathered inside my office and I looked at my men with a scowl on my face to let them know I was serious.

“ first things first if I ever catch any of you fuckheads looking at my old lady again I’ll personally cut your d***s off.” I heard a series of groans coming from them but I didn’t care.

“ next thing stone any report on that Paul kid?” Daniel stone, is my vp and a very trusted member of the gang.

“ not as yet, we are still searching for him. I can’t believe he’s been missing for weeks now without a trace.” I agreed with him and sighed. Three weeks ago, Officer Declan came to pay us a visit and gave us this job to help search for the missing fifteen year old. His mother is growing worried each day and I felt sorry for her.

“ ok let’s keep on checking the reports and keep an eye out. We need to also scope the area we know that is prone to criminal activities and try and see if we can find out any clue there. The police are afraid to go in those areas but we are not, we are fearless and everyone knows not to mess with us.” Everyone agreed with me and snake raised his hand.

“ boss Mrs. headley is having some problems with her roof, thought I might head on over and fix it for her plus there’s about eight prospects that wants to join so you could interview them whenever you’re free.” I nodded my head and ended church. I took my phone out and called Kat to find out what my baby was up to.

“ um Mateo I’m so sorry for not calling you earlier but something has happened and now lia is crying. I don’t know what to do but it has to do with her deadbeat husband.” I growled and slammed my hand down on the desk.

“You should have called me right away sis I’m heading over there now tell Emilia to be prepared for my visit.” I yelled and hung up the phone.

“ tank, stone, ink, Taylor you’re with me.” They nodded their heads and followed me.

“ what seems to be the problem boss?” Tank asked and I shook my head.

“ mother f*****g old lady and her problems, gotta go find out what I’m up against and what we can do to help her.” He nodded his head and continued to follow me. Before I could knock, Kat opened the door and narrowed her eyes at me.

“ i only expected you to come not your entourage.” I chuckled and pushed my way inside so I could go and check up on my baby.

“ where’s she?” I asked and Kat pointed towards the living room.

“ hey Katherine good to see you again.” Ink said as he chuckled because Kat shot him a glare.

“ f**k off ink and don’t call me that my name is Kat you idiot.” I busted out laughing but then it turned into a glare which had ink wishing he was anywhere but here. We walked in the living room and just like Kat said, Emilia was there crying. When she spotted me her eyes became wide and she jumped up off the sofa and started backing away from me.

“ Kat you asshole I told you not to call him.” Kat only shrugged her shoulders and smirked.

“ you know Mateo can help if you’d stop being so stubborn now show him the box.” I was impatiently waiting for Emilia to get her ass moving but she stood there instead.

“ where’s Lacey?” I asked Kat who pointed towards the stairs.

“ in her room watching cartoons. It’s Saturday so we don’t really have anything else to do.” Emilia growled at Kat which had her looking down guiltily.

“ok enough of this Emilia get your ass moving and get me that f*****g box so I can see whats inside it.” She jumped and made a beeline out of the living room. That had her moving, stubborn ass. Stone laughed and I shot him a glare which had him looking away from me.

“ um ok here it is. I don’t know if you’ll like what you see and I know you’ll get mad but can you please be quiet? Lacey is here and I don’t want her to hear what’s going on.” I nodded my head and opened the box. What I saw had me seeing red and I would have torn the house down if it was not for a six year old kid that’s here.

“ what the hell?” I took up pictures after pictures of a Emilia going to different places. I took up a letter and read it out loud.

“ I know where you are and if you think for a second that I’ll let you get away from me for too long you have another thing coming. Your time is coming, be prepared.” Emilia started crying and I set the box aside so I could comfort her.

“ I know his full name, blake Harper, I can find out anything else about him in no time and get rid of him for you. He’s not going to hurt you baby I promise. I would like for you, Kat and Lacey to come and live with me so I can protect be able to keep a better eye on you all.” She shook her head and pushed me away from her.

“ I won’t move into that whorehouse of yours with my daughter.” I growled as I held unto her hair and pulled her head back.

“ first of all you know nothing of my club. Second of all you are here and you don’t know how to protect yourself and your daughter so you have to use common sense in this Emilia. You can have your own room If you want because we have so many rooms there that are unoccupied. Take it or leave it or better yet don’t say anything, I’ll take it from here.” I let go off her hair and looked at my sister.

“ Kat I need you to pack every single s**t you have and I’ll send Dianne over to help as well. By tomorrow I want all of you over at my compound or there’s going to be hell to pay.” With that I walked out and pulling out a cigarette so I could calm down. The asshole was threatening her and her daughter and I’ll make sure to protect them with my life, no one messes with what’s mine and gets away with it.
