The sight was unsightly for the teachers and students watching the poor girl fall to the ground with a hole in her head, and it was in a pool of her own blood before she was picked up by Martins, who stared at Glenn, but frustration and worry were the only emotions he felt in the situation and only hoped that Glenn would do something humanly that wasn’t executing monsters that were threats to the eight top species of Glathon. Victor had informed his sister in advance as he didn’t trust Drake not to do anything to her and wasn’t expecting the attempted murder in front of his eyes and students and his mind kept going through an incident he wasn’t quite ready for his students to have. He had more than enough PTSD kids in his academy and wasn’t prepared for more.
“Mister Martins, I need you to lay her comfortably on the bed and don’t make unnecessary movement that could risk her health even more.” Victoria had tucked her messy light pink hair and using her liume to stabilize her brain conductivity and was using a tong to remove the bullet from her skin simultaneously. She was in work mode and needed to finish removing the bullet quickly and stopping any further damage to her brain. She gave out a hearty grin to Martin, as she was able to remove the bullet stained with blood with the tong and placed it on a silver plate and was handed a piece of clothing after sewing the penetrated skin back together with her liume and wrapping it around her forehead while dapping the remaining blood with the soft cotton.
She noticed the scar around her cheek caressing it, before she watched the scar completely fade away as she added healing ointment to her skin, glancing at Martins, who checked her pulse and held a small smile on his face as he confirmed to the nurse in front of him of her now stable health. The teacher left her office and let the poor girl and wondered how Glenn was dealing with the boy who had caused her life-threatening wound.
Meanwhile, on the swordsmanship training grounds, Drake had stored the weapon back in his inventory and acted as if he hadn’t just almost killed his friend in cold blood, he needed to stroll away from the scene, he could practically see her blood in his arms and wasn’t ready to showcase an episode to the audience of students, who all backed away from him. But he was stopped by Daniel’s glare, and he didn’t care about what emotions were displayed by his friend and he certainly wasn’t going to ask him and decided to avoid him, as from the looks of it he understood what he wanted to talk about.
“Drake, I need you to listen.” Daniel placed his hands on Daniel’s shoulders and his hands were slapped away from the latter, who glared at the former.
“That sounds exactly what Lucia said before I shot her in the head.” He wasn’t in his right mind, and he knew that if he was, he would have heard Jade’s taunting voice, and he was falling fast, and he couldn’t catch himself, but he noticed his master had muttered words in front of him, but he allowed the darkness to welcome him like it always does.
“GRAVITY RISME: UPTURN ZERO.”
He knew the spell better than himself, and he didn’t seem bothered as long as the boy would land on the floor softly and be left vulnerable for Daniel to do his thing.
“I need all the teachers to follow me.”
The students protested about this, but their cries were turned by deaf ears, as the teachers followed him with no further hesitation nor questioning his words about all he needed was for him and the other staff members to be more than ten feet away from Daniel, so he could do his thing. Glenn and Mary didn’t talk as they walked together side by side, one would think they were having a lover’s quarrel or trouble in paradise, some weird phrase that was made by people he didn’t want to know.
“Prince Daniel, would you kindly stay away from the Drake?”
The same student who questioned Glenn’s way of teaching had the guts to ask him to leave his pal on the floor and just walk away like he did.
No.
He wanted to voice out that he wasn’t at fault but rather Lucia’s pettiness put her in that condition and Drake wanted to leave their sight and breakdown in a secluded area, a habit he had from a child and he knew it.
He tried to defend his friend, but he couldn’t as he felt no words in his mouth and sighed, rubbing his head in frustration and groaning.
“Prince Daniel, it seems to me you didn’t hear me.”
‘I obviously heard; I just didn’t think much of your presence to bother myself with you and your demands.’
He thought and yet feigned ignorance to the boy and rather asked him a question.
“What is your name?”
“My name is Moses Lornest, I come from the noble family of Lornest, a family filled with only humans and I directly come from the Cirano kingdom and my blood is pure, unlike the two friends of yours. The girl is half demon and half dragon, acceptable, but the boy who is adopted definitely his blood isn’t pure.”
‘I didn’t ask for your opinion about my choice of friends, I asked for your name and didn’t ask you to sum up your backstory to me.’
“Are you so shocked? That I know you’re worthy of being friends with me?”
His statements were disgusting to Daniel. With the amount of ego he felt from the boy, it was very suffocating, and he didn’t think twice, as he hit the back of the boy’s neck and fell unconscious.
‘I wish I could do the same thing to Uncle Seth.’
A notification popped on his screen.
[YOU HAVE EARNED A NEW SKILL]
[REPUTATION LEVEL 1]
He was happy about the new skill but was focused on the boy in front of him and did two spells and was ready to pretend the event had never happened.
“MIND RISME: CONNECTED PATHWAY.”
A light blue ray shined through the training ground and every single person around him was in a trance and this allowed him to continue.
“MIND RISME: DELETED SCENES.”
{Deleted Scenes and Connected pathway are two spells that belong to the mind risme column and have been used. In other words, Daniel has managed to cut the memories of everyone who clearly saw what happened.}
Jade was eagerly smirking about his skill and hoped there wouldn’t be a repeat of what happened today.
{Drake should consider himself lucky to have friends that will stand by his side.}
Only if she knew what Amelia knew, would she have ever said or thought of it.
