“LIGHTNING AND THUNDER LIUME: THUNDER SPEARS!!” “FLOWER FRIST: ROSE VINES!!” Both opponents shouted their attacks, blue sparks surrounded Drake’s hand, merging together making spears and red roses sprout from the ground with spiky vines swirling around the two. Drake aimed the spears in that direction and let them leave, leaving his hands ready to obliterate his opponent, but they were aimed back at him as the vines protected Lucia from the spears and gave her an opening to Drake’s, defensive, as he watched his spears being destroyed by the vines. ‘Stupid vines.’ He thought while dodging the vines effortlessly but was scratched by a vine and from the blank look of Lucia’s face, he knew he wasn’t going to get out without some scratches on his body. The vines were building a wall and, from the looks of it, she was clearly going for an offensive and letting herself bring out her bow and an arrow from her well-protected garden of roses. ‘Great, I need a fire liume to defeat that.’ {But you don’t have one.} ‘You are my reality check.’ {But you could unlock a fire liume.} ‘How?’ He responded but managed to get struck by an arrow which was ten inches away from taking away his eyes rather than left with a light scar around his eyelid. {She can aim.} ‘And I can dodge.’ {Barely} ‘What are you saying exactly?’ {She was going easy on you.} ‘That’s a lie.’ {Alright, watch her yourself} Drake scoffed at Jade for her unreasonable thought but was left surprised by a focused Lucia who seemed to be taking out a whip. {I thought she said she only knew how to use a bow and an arrow.} ‘She didn’t exactly lie because she knows how to use the bow and arrow better.’ {Whether she can use the whip well or not, you are going to be in a world of pain.} Jade was actually right, she could see from the inhumane strength a normal dragon possesses and she was half demon and dragon. Her host would suffer the extra strength. She was away from her mother’s side and her opponent would be suffering from the pain which just happened to be her friend. Lucia wrapped the whip around her hand as the vines were no longer surrounding her and swirled it around, hitting the ground and crushing the training ground and forcing the student to move back, to avoid being hit by the whip. Lucia had been training with the whip for three years, a bit shorter than the years she used to train with the bow and an arrow, but her whip skills had been praised. She was above she amateur level and she decided to use the skill against her dear friend, who kept dodging her attacks with the energy in his body, making her frustrated. “Stop dodging me and attack head on.” She shouted at him while wrapping the first part of her whip around and added a spell to it, as he had managed to stay midair and avoid as much contact with the whip. “AIR LIUME:WHIRLPOOL!!” The whip had liume flowing through it, allowing her to cause an enormous amount of air liume and removing Drake from the air, as his status stats came in. STATUS] NAME: DRAKE WILLIAMS-TIMBERLINE AGE: 11 GENDER: MALE RACE: HUMAN LEVEL: 27 CLASS: (UNLOCKED AFTER LEVEL 50) SUB-CLASS: FARMER TITLE: THE MEDIOCRE LIUME: 5000/5000 FRIST: 4500/5000 RISME: 1500/1500 LIUME AFFINITIES: EARTH AND WATER FRIST AFFINITIES: LIGHTNING AND THUNDER RISME AFFINITIES: NONE LIUME RANK: A FRIST RANK: C RISME RANK: D HP: 700/1500 MP: 1500/1500 AGILITY: 750 INTELLIGENCE: 720 STRENGTH: 770 STAMINA: 800 DEFENSE: 806 UNASSIGNED POINTS:0 Tch. He was losing very quickly. It may be a mission, but he wasn’t ready for the possible punishment if he failed the task and decided to go to inventory, while trying to avoid the whip, which kept hitting his limbs. ‘She has so much strength, it’s almost scary to think of how strong she will be during our final year.’ {Strong enough to destroy a mountain or more.} ‘You just made me more scared.’ {You’re welcome.} Jade always answered Drake with sass and sarcasm for as long as they knew each other, and it was also her way of reducing stress from him. Drake had an idea while watching Lucia change her fighting style to match her whip, leaving spaces in her defense. Unlike the way she used the bow, she had no openings, only spots to attack her enemies. Lucia was like a snake when it came to their prey, except she didn’t eat hers. A snake is known for their sharp senses and their scale bodies used for hiding in plain sights and their extraordinary eyes which helped them in the night. Lucia was blessed with an impressive sense of smell and sight and the most impressive of them all was her hearing and sense of death. Lucia is a direct descendant from the Alaric family, which has a rather close bond to death and their bloodline is filled with dragons. Unlike her mother, who was a demon and was rather secretive yet not suspicious of the people around her, who had her secrets, but was known for her hearing and being able to recognize enemies from afar and close by. And since she inherited both abilities from her family, she had been named the python from the Blars guild. ‘I need a weapon that can distort her attacks, but a sword won’t help me in this situation.’ {Use your inventory, you might find a weapon that best suits your needs.} ‘I don’t have a choice in this match, so I hope your idea works.’ [INVENTORY] [NAME: SHOTGUN RANK: C EFFECT: ALLOWS USER TO HURT OPPONENT FROM A LONG OR MID RANGE DISTANCE AND PREVENTS THE USER FROM USING LIUME, FRIST OR RISME IN A FIGHT. MONEY: 1,000 JUW] {This weapon might actually work but it’s too small.} ‘Master Glenn taught us that anything can be a weapon if it can cause harm to a person, so I am purchasing it.’ [BUY] [YES/NO] Drake clicked the green-highlighted button. [YES] [YOU HAVE PURCHASED THE SHOTGUN!!]
