Glathon part 3

1011 Words
Drake entered the house with Christa, as Rico was behind them. The interior wasn't much, but it still looked pretty and that seemed to be more than enough for the two, as Christa placed her bag on the black couch, positioned near the wall in the living room, a small table was placed in front of the couch with a shelf screwed well into the walls, to make it steady. Wanting to ask a question, he tugged Christa's pants. Christa noticed this and bent down to ask him if there was something he wanted. He nodded his head shyly and looked back up to Christa, pointing to something outside looking like rocks and lava. The rocks started to emerge together talking to an ivory-skinned, pointy, eared-postured man who was about 5'3 with no hair on his head and was wearing a black suit to pass by and was about to talk about Rico. He was not in the mood to answer any question from the child, according to him. He was a bit salty about the whole incident that happened on earth. "I will tell you about them later. First, I think we should all rest right now. I need to refill on my Frist at this moment, and we need to tell you all the rituals of this world since you weren't born here." He muttered the remaining part, so he couldn't hear what he said, it wasn't time for him to know what had happened to him. Right now, he was just a kid with the thinking of a child, he wasn't in the mood to deal with a kid with PTSD on his shoulder. Clap. Christa, understanding the situation and getting uncomfortable with the awkward silence, decided to lighten the mood by making a joke. "Who has two eyes, one brain and can't use them well?" She asked with a goofy smile. "It's obviously you, Christa," Rico told her, while receiving a blank stare from Drake, who looked away, not wanting to be involved, on cue looking back at her with Drake's green eyes and Rico's left red ruby eye and right green emerald eye. Christa started pouting after their answer and said quietly. "You guys really are the same, both mean and inconsiderate. It must be in your bloodline that sadistic nature of you two." She put both of her two legs together, resting her head on them, clustering her body. "What is the meaning of sedist, Ric?" Drake asked, unfamiliar with the word. "It's not sedist. It's sadist. It means that you enjoy it when people are in pain," he corrected him, then Drake still looked confused. "So, he isn't like you. Thank Urani, I thought I had to deal with both of you at once." She looked at Drake with a hopeful smile, who was just fiddling with his hands, before speaking up one more time. "I have a question, ma'am. Can I ask you?" "Sure, dear." "What is Urani?" He asked her, she hummed for a while before answering. "It's a way of saying creator in our language. So, it's something one normally says." Rico lightened up to his answer and Christa darkened at his words and Rico's facial expression and regretted it. 'This is bad.' She thought to herself. "This is terrible, he isn't supposed to unlock that sadistic part till he is a teenager. Why did you do that? I already have you who have been a sadist since you were a teenager, but he has it from four. Do you really hate me that much?" Christa shouted at him. "Nah, he already had it, he wasn't just aware about it. It was hereditary in the family, it came straight from the old hag, it normally skips a generation." He said while scratching the back of his jet black hair with his left hand and covering his mouth while yawning. As they continued bickering with each other, before they eventually stopped on their own, while Drake was resting his head on the couch. "Rico, how long will the spell stop disturbing him?" Christa asked him, noticing how sleepy Drake was, his eyes were barely even open in the first place. "He needs sleep, Christa. He will be fine. He is a strong fella after all. Speaking of sleep, you need to rest as well. You used up a lot of Frist back on Earth." 'I feel sleepy,' Drake thought, as he rubbed his eyes, finding it difficult for him to stay awake. Christa just gave up on Rico before his behavior turned 180 degrees if she replied, so she went to her room to sleep, after being exhausted from the trip and the faking of being Jessica for the past 4 years back on earth. "Well, I am back home, so let me sleep before havoc breaks loose tomorrow." At that she dozed off, while the others were still awake. Because Rico wasn't sleeping, while Drake was more than ready to drop ut of tiredness, he had eventually fallen asleep on Rico, who carried him to his guest room and arranged the bed with a blue duvet patterned with brown bears and a cream sheet covering the bed. As he lay Drake on the bed, covering him with the duvet, as he was about to leave the bed, he felt someone holding his hand and turned back to Drake staring at him while rubbing his eyes. "Please don't....leave me, I am scared of staying alone in my room. Can you please stay with me? I hate being left alone." As he saw him shaking and shivering, Rico gave up and sighed in defeat. "Fine I will stay. Just stop looking so cute right now." Drake nodded his head to his words, and Rico sat next to his bed and waited for Drake to doze off. "Goodnight Rico." Drake said to him as he started dozing off. "Goodnight, you little brat." He replied, rubbing his head before heading to his and Christa's room, as he slept peacefully with her on the same bed.
