Maya's Point of View I could feel the sun kissing my skin and the soft breeze blowing by. When I opened my eyes, the room with gods and goddesses was gone, and I was standing on the school's football field. I could smell smoke and look down, and the grass was burnt and smoking. So I bent down and touched the burnt grass and watched as it grew fresh green grass and smiled. Then, as I stood back up, I could see students coming out of the school and from hidden places. I could hear their whispers. "Maya," I heard Elijah say. I looked in the direction his voice came from and snapped my fingers. I heard Elijah scream, but I couldn't deal with him right now.
