“Oh hey, you’re back so soon,” Dan said in a chirpy voice when Kelsi jumped into the backseat of the stolen car he was sitting in. Ignoring him, Kelsi sank low in her seat and watched Liam slowly walk out of the convenience store, as if he was a normal paying customer and hadn’t just committed an armed robbery. Hurry up, she thought anxiously. She wanted to get away from this place as soon as possible, but Liam was taking his damned sweet time.
