“Are you really sure about this?” Kelsi asked nervously from the backseat of the car.
“Yep. It’ll be fun!” Dan replied cheerfully from the front passenger seat. “It’s been ages since we’ve done one. Right, Liam?”
“Yeah, it does feel like so long ago,” Liam replied, sounding amused.
The three of them were driving to the city in Liam’s black Subaru WRX STI.
They had immediately left the cul-de-sac after their conversation earlier. Liam and Dan decided to spontaneously go through with the plan without prior preparations, much to Kelsi’s trepidation, and once more affirming the fact they were indeed crazy.
“But are you really sure?” Kelsi repeated with a hint of desperation. “Maybe we can find something else to do?”
Something safer and less maniacal? she added silently.
