Aki led her back to the hallway and opened the door opposite his bedroom.
“This is a meeting room of sorts,” he said, nudging her in.
It was like a mini-conference room — a black table with six leather chairs was in the middle of the room. There was a whiteboard on one wall and some markers scattered on top of the filing cabinets beneath the board.
Beside the door was a large steel cabinet, and an assortment of tools that Kelsi had no idea what their use was for, hung on the wall next to it.
The walls were dark gray, as well as the heavy drapes that covered the windows which were facing the front of the house. The ceiling-mounted studio lights created random spotlights around the room.
