The next day, Kelsi was awoken by the bright shining sun in her eyes. Rays of light had filtered through the window directly onto her face. She turned to the other side, away from the annoying sunlight, and attempted to go back to sleep, but she couldn’t. Her mind was wide awake now.
She stretched and sat up on the bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. She looked around the room, contentedly, knowing that it was her very own private space.
She had grown fond of it, even though it was much smaller than her previous bedroom — she used to have a walk-in closet and an adjoining bathroom as well, but she still found it cozy. It just needs some furnishing and a little color to make it her own.
