Ashton’s P.O.V.
“For how long will she stay unconscious? It has already been more than twenty-four hours,” I asked the witch, Esther, whose help I took to kidnap her worriedly. “She was already weak when you injected her with that potion, Ashton. She didn’t have her wolf, and the marking of the alpha king drained her energy. She will take more time than I anticipated,” she answered me in a flat tone, putting all the blame on me. “You didn’t tell me that I shouldn’t use that potion if she is weak. I told you that she is marked now,” I yelled at her angrily. She looked back at me with an annoying look.
“You should mark her again when she is unconscious. She will get her strength back first before waking up, and I don’t think that she will let you mark her if she wakes up,” she spoke again
