Thea's pov
The grand birthday party of Sienna was my chance to escape with Issac even if it meant saying a forever goodbye to my homeland.
"You're looking gorgeous, Luna." One of the new maids praised my dress.
Alan brutally killed every old maid, and on the same day, he hired new ones as if killing someone is no big deal.
He is indeed a monster without feelings!!!
"Which necklace would you like?" The maid pointed at the necklaces shrouding the table.
"What is Alan's favorite color?" My lips inquired.
"Green!" Her eyes perked up with her response.
"Green will suit you, my lady!" Words came out of her mouth.
"Except green, I am okay with every color!" My words stunned her.
"Uhm…Sure!" She was flustered, yet kept her mouth shut.

Meanwhile…
Alan's pov
"What did Luna say?" Zachary asked with curiosity.
"She has no choice but to do as I say!" My heart was sure of her actions.
Moonstone pack was my second step in revenge to gather alliance, and this can only happen if I become their Alpha.
"Why don't you tell her the truth?" Zachary's words pointed at my miserable past.
"She is George's daughter, don't expect kindness from her!"
"How long are you planning on using her?"
"Until I turn her father to gray ashes!"

At the party…
Everyone was waiting for Sienna to arrive, yet the moment Thea revealed herself in her lavender color dress…
All eyes changed direction to her!!
She was nervous and shy, but her aura overpowered others.
The clock stopped around me as my gaze noticed every inch of hers.

"Have you lost yourself?" Damian interrupted my thoughts.
"What are you trying to say?" My brows twitched.
"You were lost in her beauty, just accept the truth!" His voice whispered in my ear.
"Enough of your assumptions!" My voice whispered back.
"How does it feel to marry the king's daughter?"
"Headache!"

"Are you still not over your ex-fianceè?"
"Trying to provoke me?" Rage ramped up inside my soul.
"No, just checking on my cousin!" A sweet smile glinted on his lips.

Thea approached us and looked at me with curious eyes.
"Leave us, Damian!" My voice commanded.
"As you wish!" He walked over to other guests.
"Where is my father?" She inquired in her soft tone.
"He'll be here anytime soon"
My feet slowly moved forward and stopped inches apart from hers.
"Do you know what you have to do?"
"Yes!"
"As long as Issac is my prisoner, you will do anything, how fascinating!"
"Be a good girl and I might let you have a dinner date with your lover."
"You're okay with that?" Her eyes widened.
"We're not lovers, so why wouldn't I be okay with it?"
"Your every action comprises a reward or a punishment, and the choice is completely yours!" Having said that, my feet walked over to Sienna.

Thea's pov
Father arrived along with Madelyn, Athena, and Ralph.
"You're looking beautiful, dear!" He embraced me with a tight hug.
"I missed you so much." Tears rolled down my eyes.
His fingers gently brushed off my tears and his lips pecked my forehead.
"Is Alan treating you well?" His gaze looked straight into mine.
"He is a wonderful husband, he cares for me a lot." For the sake of Issac, my words lied.
"I am relieved!" A peaceful smile brightened up his face.
"Is it true you want Alan to join hands with the Moonstone pack?"
"Of course, this is a wonderful opportunity."
"Can you give him more?"
"More?" Father was confused.
"Please give my husband the Moonstone pack as our wedding gift."
"Thea, you've never asked me for anything before!" Father skimmed my cheek.
"You want to surprise Alan?" He asked.
"Yes, he deserves it."
"I will do anything for you." His love for me accepted my demand.
"Alan will become the Alpha of the Moonstone pack if that's what you want."
"Thank you, Father!"
"Where is he?" His eyes searched for him in the crowd.
"Uh...Maybe with Sienna." My voice mumbled.
He walked over to Alan, leaving me alone with Madelyn, Athena, and Ralph.
"You're looking extremely happy!" Madelyn taunted.
My lips refused to answer her words and fixed my gaze on the floor.
"Enjoy while you can because soon Athena will take your place in this mansion beside Alan!"
"Mother! How can you say such a thing?" Athena frowned.
"You're clueless!" Madelyn's cold gaze wrapped in Fury shifted to Athena.
"Your daughter is wiser than you!" Words came out of my mouth.
She grabbed Athena's wrist and dragged her to a corner.
"I always knew you were interested in politics!" Ralph twisted my wrist, hiding from everyone's gaze.
"Smile, Thea!" His voice whispered.
My wrist was in utmost pain, yet my lips were smiling!!!
"Why did you ask Father to give Alan the Moonstone pack?"
"Leave my wrist, please!"
"Answer the damn question!
My soul had no idea why Alan asked me to do this and what is his real motive behind our marriage!!
But Ralph will never believe me even if I prove it with my death!!!
"If you come near my throne, you'll face the worst death!"
"So be very careful around me, Thea!" His eyes glowed red and he freed my wrist from his strong grip.

Later after the cake cutting…
Emery's pov
"The king left?" My voice questioned.
"Yes, everyone from the royal family left," Finley whispered.
"Perfect." A smile flashed on my lips.
"Go and pour a few drops of poison into Alan's drink!"
"Yes, madam!" He bowed and left.

A few minutes later…
Alan took a few sips from his glass and soon his body reacted to the poison!
Before anyone could notice, he fainted as foam covered his mouth.
"Alan!" My voice screamed and attracted everyone's attention.
"Please call the doctor." Tears rolled down my eyes.
"What happened to you?" Whispers started flowing through the crowd.
"Someone poisoned him!" Finley announced in his loud groaning voice.
"Oh, my God! My son!"
"But where is Thea?"
She was nowhere to be found!!!
