Monday morning, I was ready. I had already gone through my wardrobe the night before to make sure I had the perfect outfit picked and everything else I would need. So when morning came, I had my shower, put on my blue business suit perfectly pressed, applied a light coat of makeup, grabbed my purse, took a deep breath and left the house.
As soon as I arrived at Brown's, you could see the tense atmosphere. It made me wonder what Carl and dear old dad had told everyone and what had actually happened to the former COO.
