10 Landry pressed the button and a strange purple mist popped out of the the top of the chimney. I was about to move, but one of the girls held me tightly in place and her whispered voice floated over to me. “Hold still.” I stiffened as the mist floated over to us and wrapped around our group. The strange fog tickled my face and upper body before it slithered back to the strange camera and dove into the chimney. A small ‘dinging’ noise came from the contraption and the girls clapped their hands. “Thank you so much!” one of them squealed while the other took the ‘camera’ from Landry. The one in possession of the camera waited with baited breath, their eyes laser-focused on the top of the chimney. A strange sputtering noise came from the stack and the machine twitched in her hands.
