First mention of Alpha Axel Northwood

986 Words
After a short period, Alpha Joshua, Luna Evelyn, and Alison rode to the pack's lake to enjoy their day as a family of three. A happy atmosphere engulfed all three of them as they hadn't done such a thing in a long time due to Alphas' full schedule. They arranged all their belongings on the thick green grass and sat by the lake upon their arrival. Since Alison could not shift yet, her parents preferred not to change into wolves and enjoy their time with their precious gem, as Luna Evelyn called Alison. " How do you feel about prom approaching, baby? Is everything settled?" asked the Alpha. " Yeah, dad. Well, I feel a bit hesitant to tell you the truth. You know me. Always on the safe side". Alison replied, smiling. "You will do just fine, darling. You are always up to new challenges at school and are the winner! Consider it a challenge you need to overcome once more," Alpha Joshua told her and hugged her. " Come to think of it, the New Moon celebration is in three months, and I believe it would be a great idea if we combined it with your 18th birthday celebration, baby, since it is our pack's turn to host the New Moon celebration. What do you think?" Luna Evelyn asked. " That's a great idea, honey!" said the Alpha. " But mum, it will be too much!! You know how uncomfortable I feel around people I don't know. Not everyone knows my condition. I would feel awful if someone said something about it." "Baby, look at me"! said the Alpha. "You are an amazing young lady with a minor issue that your wolf would probably resolve after your first shift. Do not let things like that get in your way and make you unhappy. Your wolf will reveal your real power soon enough, and no one will ever say anything about you. Trust me. You may find your mate that night. And you never know. Speaking of mates, by the way, I heard that many young Alphas unmated have just taken the reins of their packs. What if one of them is your mate?" said the Alpha. " Oh, my Moon Goddess, I just hope it's not Axel Northwood, Alpha of the Blue Silver Moon pack," said the Luna. " It is said that he is ruthless. Axel doesn't even care about his biological parents that brought him up. He punishes his pack members with the slightest cause and heavier punishment. Although Axel is only 22, most packs seek an alliance with him to avoid being on his enemies list. He will not be a good match for you, darling". Alison felt goosebumps over her body, listening to her mother's comments. "Not to worry, mum. I am sure that he will not be the one. The Moon Goddess will not let me down, not at least in that matter," Alison replied sadly. "Not that she let me down when you guys found me and kept me. My own family did not want to keep me and just despatched me like a potato sack. The love and care you have given me all these years is the most beautiful gift the Moon Goddess gave me. I love you guys so much! Thank you for everything!" Alison said, tears escaping her eyes. "Come, come, no more tears. It's a day for fun. Let's swim and enjoy ourselves. That is why we have come here anyway," Alpha said, instantly changing their mood. The rest of the day was fun, and they exchanged ideas about the upcoming event they would host as a pack. When Alison arrived at school the following day, her secretary requested that she attend the principal's office. Wondering what had happened, she approached his office door and knocked twice. "Come in," sounded the voice of the school's principal. "Good morning, principal Ricci. She entered his office. You asked for me?" she said. "Ah! Alison! Come, come, my dear, have a seat. Yes, I wanted to talk to you about something. You know, every year at our school's prom, the year's most excellent student makes a speech. Well, this year, my dear, it's your turn," principal Ricci smiled at her. "Me? But there must be someone else to do that!" "No, my dear, there isn't. You are the top student in our school this year, so it's on you! " He blinked at her and began explaining the details of the upcoming prom and giving Alison some ideas regarding her speech. She left the principal's office in a daze. When she found Missy and Ria at the school's cafeteria, she told them what had happened minutes ago. The girls were overwhelmed with happiness and Ria's mind-linked to Don. She told him the good news, and he and Elliot rushed to the cafeteria to congratulate Alison. "Why do I get the feeling that I am the only one feeling dejected about this?" she whispered. She took a long breath and tried to collect her thoughts to find a solution to her new duty as the straight-A student called her to come across. Meanwhile, everyone inside the cafeteria was excited about the news and wanted to congratulate her. For them, Alison was the most appropriate person to do this task. Alison, who, for every one of them, was the helper, the guide, the backup, the person they could count on in order not to embarrass themselves in front of their teachers every time they encountered a problem. Alison never really thought that much about herself. Everything she did, she did it in goodwill, not expecting anything in return. If she were not so preoccupied with her thoughts and anxiety, she would have felt uncomfortable with all the cheering, clapping, and screaming from her fellow students when they found out she was the chosen one with the highest score.
