Prom night

Axels' P.O.V. I was sitting in my office after a long, hard training session with the pack's warriors, enabling them all to fight as I did. There was too much paperwork to be done, and I set my mind to it. While reading those files, Tom, my Beta and best friend, came into my office. "Hey dude, what's up?" he asked as he sat on my couch. " What exactly do you want, Tom? Spill the beans because I got truly swamped with work." I replied, not giving him any more attention. "Well, you know how you sponsor the school's prom in our state every year. This year the school's principal, Mr Ricci, has invited you to nominate the best student award. And if you ask me, it's a good chance for us to see how things are, since you haven't visited the school for so many years. Don't you want to know where all that money goes?" I looked up and stared Tom in the eyes. " Is there any other reason we should visit the school, Tom?" I replied. " No, man, nothing at all. I just thought it would be nice to enjoy the music and everything. I bet Annette would love to go": "Go where?" Annette replied, entering my office with a big smile on her face. She came near me and sat on my lap- she was not my mate. I do not want or need a mate. It will make me weaker, and this is something I cannot afford. She was my girlfriend, and I planned to make her my Luna. I needed a strong Luna, and Annette was precisely that. I stroked her hair and kissed her on her neck. "Hey man, go get a room, would you?" Tom said, and then informed Annette about the prom thing. " Can we please go, love? I would love to go and have some fun, you know. All this training is killing me." She gave me the puppy eyes look and waited for my answer. I know she is training hard since she is one of my best warriors. " What the f.... let's go. But when I say we go, that's it. We will leave immediately." "Sure thing, love", she kissed me and ran out of the office to check her wardrobe for something to wear at the prom. I continued reviewing all the pending documents on my desk. I had already forgotten the prom thing. I needed to get to the bottom of these cases to profit from selling the condos we built in California. As the C.E.O. of Northwood Constructions, I had too many things to deal with besides running the Blue Silver Moon pack smoothly. Alison's P.O.V. Finally! It's prom day today! I got up from my bed and rushed to the bathroom to do my business, have a shower, and relax a little. When I was out of the toilet, Missy and Ria stormed inside my room, squealing with joy. "Come on, let's get you something to eat, and then we must start preparing for the prom tonight," said Ria, and Missy agreed with her face and a nod. After breakfast, we went to my room. The girls had brought all their stuff so we could get ready together. I made Missy's hair, Ria made mine, and Missy made Rias'. She first made Rias' makeup. After she had finished, Ria looked like she had come out of a fairy tale. She looked astonishing! The makeup was up to Missy-she did miracles with the brush. 'It's your turn, kiddo," Missy said. She made me turn my back to the mirror and began applying various stuff to my face. When I finished, she asked me to wear my dress and look in my mirror. When I finally saw my reflection in the mirror, I couldn't believe it was me. She made me a smoky eye with violet lining, and my golden spots were so bright I was stunned. "Wow, Alison. You look perfect!" Ria screamed with enthusiasm. I just smiled at her and said nothing. After Missy finished her makeup, we went downstairs to the living room, waiting for Don and Elliot to come and take us to the prom. When my parents came to see me, tears of joy came down my mother's eyes. She hugged me and whispered in my ear, " This is my girl! I am so proud of you, baby". My dad gave me a big hug and kissed my temple. Upon Don's arrival, he was astonished to see us all like this. He complimented all three of us, and his eyes never left Missy's'. He knew she was his mate but was waiting for her to turn 18 so that she could discover it by herself. I was the only one knowing his secret. We left the packhouse and rode to the school's ballroom in Don's car. Don was perfect in his black tuxedo, and Elliot in his navy-blue costume. A good match for us girls since none of us had a date for the night. The music in the car was so loud, and we all sang our favourite songs along with the singers. During the ride, I was watching how Missy was looking at Don. I smiled and thought that the Moon Goddess must have blessed these two to have a fantastic future together. I was happy for them and couldn't wait for Missy's birthday next month so she could finally figure out who her mate was. I was sure she would be thrilled. With these thoughts in mind, I didn't even realize it when we arrived at the school's parking lot. The place was full of boys and girls dressed in gowns and costumes, ready to go and have the time of their life in our school's ballroom.
