Alpha Joshua finds out

The following day, Alison did not show up for breakfast. Luna Evelyn was worried and wanted to go check up on her. Alpha Joshua comforted her, saying she might oversleep. He mind-linked Don to ask him what happened the previous day at the mall. Don was dumbfounded because he didn't notice anything different about Alison. He promised his Alpha he would find out and inform him as soon as possible. He mind-linked Ria and asked her to meet him at the training ground. When Ria arrived, he asked her if anything unusual had happened yesterday at the mall to make Alison sad. Ria mentioned the whole story to Done and pointed out that Alison didn't even reply to her comments after they left the store. She also thought it was strange, but she ignored it.
Don mind linked Alpha Joshua, who told him to meet him at his office.
In a while, Don was sitting across from the Alpha and his father, Justin. He mentioned what Ria had told him and waited for his Alpha to comment. Alpha Joshua frowned and had a displeased look on his face. Alpha Joshua told Don that he should pay attention to Alison's behaviour and inform him of anything unusual. He instructed Don to tell Ria not to mention to Alison that he had found out what had happened the previous day at the mall.
After Don left the office, Justin asked his Alpha friend if he wanted him to investigate this matter further. Alpha Joshua agreed to tell his Beta to be extra cautious to avoid Luna and Alison finding out about the whole thing.
" She will be devastated, Justin," he said. " Alison is our whole world. "
"Don't worry, a baddie. We will figure it out," said Justin, padding him on the shoulder.
Meanwhile, Alison woke up.
She looked at the watch on her nightstand; it was already noon. "s**t," she muttered. I lost my pancakes ".
She rushed into the bathroom to make herself presentable and went down the stairs to look for her mother.
She was in the kitchen inspecting lunch preparations.
She hugged her mother and gave her a loving kiss on the chick. " I love you, mom!! Thank you for everything you have done for me all these years," she said, a tear leaving her beautiful purple eyes.
" Honey, are you okay? What happened? Is something bothering you??" Luna asked her with concern.
" No, mom, everything is fine. I want you to know how much I appreciate what you and dad are doing for me. You raised me as your own, and I feel blessed to have you two in my life. " Alison smiled at her mother.
"What a lovely sight for my eyes!! My two most precious gifts from the Moon Goddess are right in front of me!! How about having a picnic by the lake instead of lunch in the dining room? We haven't done it for a long time." Said Alpha Joshua, hugging both of them and placing a kiss on their heads.
"Excellent idea!" Luna said, and started the presentation on their lunch box. She was so excited that she was humming a song between her chores.
