Under the Moon

His eyes and promise

When I look up I find myself looking at the most beautiful pair of eyes I have ever seen. It's an amber color and little silver dots in it. It looks like something glints in his eyes when he makes eye contact with me. He wears a black mask so I can't see his full face, but the little one I see is very handsome and attractive. Even if I don't see his full face, it's already hooked me. I look upper in his head, his brown hair is shorter on the side and longer up and a little bit hangs in his eyes. I can't even think of just freezing where I stand now. I can feel my face blush and make it redder. He knows because he makes a smile that every girl could drop their panties down. And he has dimples that can make me melt my heart. Around him, it feels a very strong power which means he could be a beta but I think he is more. Maybe an Alpha. I have to say something. So I gathered some courage to finally speak up.

"I'm so sorry to bump into you."-I say while I lower my head. I feel a little embarrassed.

"It's okay. Nothing serious happened. You can look up. My name is Colton, by the way. Soon to be Alpha of the Blackwood pack and you?"-He says and reaches out his hand for a handshake and smiles at me.

"My name is Nikki from Shadow Moon pack. Nice to meet you Alpha."-I say while making eye contact with him and shaking his hand. After I look down I see him wearing a prince costume. He even has a sword on his side hanging from his belt. He is a prince for sure from a fairy tale like every princess dreams of it.

There are some sparks while we make skin contact but I'm not sure if it means something. He feels it too because his eyes sparkle for just a second but I know what I see.

"You just call me Colton. The Alpha is not necessary. I just came here for some air because every girl wants to catch an Alpha so she could become a Luna. I don't like it when I take a step and another hand touches me. Sorry, it sounds like stupid from a soon-to-be Alpha but that's the truth."-He says honestly I can feel it while he walks more on the balcony and looks up at the sky.

"I think it's not stupid. Girls are mean sometimes and they want a future that they may not deserve. If you are fated with someone you just have to wait. But some of it isn't like waiting. Tonight is amazing, the night is clear and the moon is beautiful. Perfect weather for this party."-I say with a big smile on my face and step closer to him.

"So tell me did you find your mate? Because inside there are a lot of options. At the same time, four packs hang together in peace. Not so many times we have that option to party together in peace."-He asks while looking at the moon.

"No. I didn't find him because I'm not eighteen yet. I will be turning on the 18th of June so this is just a party for me. Maybe next year better luck. And you? You look like probably already found her."-I tell him and he looks surprised at what I just said to him.

"I didn't find my mate either. I turn eighteen on the 18th of February so I have to wait too. I just accompany my pack members and have some fun and chills."-He answers and turns to me. I don't know what he thinks but he looks so much like himself and just watches the sky. After a few minutes of silence, he turns to me again and comes closer.

"I don't know you long enough, but what do you think about spending the rest of the night and just having fun?"-He asks while looking deep into my eyes. I have to think about it. Do I have a better choice than him? Is there a better way than spending the night with an Alpha? He might be fun and interesting.

"What are you waiting for? You never know when is the next time when you can spend time with an Alpha."-My wolf Kiara says in my head and she is like every good-looking wolf so never know when she is serious or not.

"I know you always just want to have fun with every wolf. How do you know when the time comes and we will find our mate?-I ask her because I am curious about it.

"Well, when we see him and make eye contact with him. You and I together will feel it, will feel safe in his arms, and sparkle when he is touching."-She is explaining to me and it makes sense now. I can't wait to feel it and find him.

"Ok I would love to spend the night with you and have fun."-I say while I look into his eyes and accept his offer.

He grabs my hand and interlaces our fingers. He doesn't even waste any more time to say something just walk with me in the building. His back is good as is his front. Very broad and there are so many muscles I examine while he leads me to the bar. We grab some punch and drink it. Then he takes me to the dance floor. He grabs my waist while I have one arm around his neck. Move together for the music we grind for each other. The temperature increases. So many couples in this one room make it so intimate. Many couples make out on the dancefloor, some newly mated couples and they can't keep each other handoff.

"I like your dress by the way. Never seen that before. Like it is just not black and white, but together they fit perfectly. I don't think it is as good on other women as on you."-He leans closer to my ear and says it. A shiver goes through my spine. I feel with him something more than other boys before. His scent is amazing and so tempting and makes me moan when he comes closer.

I look up into his eyes, he looks at my lips for just a few seconds then again my eyes. I do the same. He wants to kiss me like how much I want to kiss him too. Then it just happens. He kisses me first slowly and gently then he licks my bottom lip and asks for permission to enter. Fire starts igniting inside me from the start of my stomach. Our tongue makes contact and I feel sparkles when our tongues chase the other. We are both fighting for dominance, but of course, he wins this war and discovers every inch of my mouth. He tastes like punch and something from Colton's tastes. If we don't stop now I think we never will. The temptation is too much to take. Then the clock hits the next hour and starts to ding. That's my clue to end the kiss.

"Vow...umm...sorry but I have to leave."-I come back down to earth after that kiss and first my brain is not even functioning normally.

"I don't want you to leave. Why do you have to? It is still early but we have time."-He asks me with hope in his words that I'll stay with him more.

"My sister and I agreed that we will leave at midnight. So now I have to find her and leave. Sorry, it was so good to meet you. Hope we will meet at the next ball."-I say this because I don't want to leave him either. I want to spend more time with him and know more about him.

"There you are. I find you again."- Alex says while standing next to Colton. I completely forgot about him and left him alone. Colton must be enchanting me.

"Yes I am here, but I'm just about to leave. Sorry, it was nice to meet you."-I say and look at Alex.

"Wait, how do you two know each other?"-Colton asks us. He looks at me and after looking at Alex for somebody to answer him.

"Umm, we just met here. Not long ago and dance together."-I answer truthfully.

"Ok, it makes sense. Alex by the way, my best friend and soon to be my beta when my time is coming to take over the Alpha position"-He says proudly. Oh, s*it I am in big trouble. They know each other and they are even best friends. What a little world.

"Yeah.. I know...he told me...So sorry for both of you but I really have to leave.- I said sadly

"Ok. I hope we will meet soon."- Alex says and leans toward me and kisses my cheek and leaves us alone. Colton growls humbly. Maybe he is a little jealous after our kiss, but I never know for sure.

"So then goodbye I guess. So sorry you have to leave, we just start to have some fun."-He winks at me and licks his lips while looking into my eyes. He thinks of our kiss too, as much as I. I will never forget, I am sure. It is already burned into my brain.

"Yes, goodbye. Have a wonderful night and enjoy it."- I step back ready to leave but he speaks up again.

"I think my nights are over too. Can we meet again?"-He asks hopefully and my heart skips a beat. He might attract as much as I do to him.

"I think our paths will not really cross in the future. So I can't say anything for sure."-I say and look down to my feet. I feel a little sad about it but a handsome man like him I don't think is my mate. He must be paired with someone else in a higher rank and not a she-wolf whose own parents don't want it and left in the forest. I must be an out-of-wedlock child or from a bad relationship.

"It can be true. Then promise me that we will meet here next year, at the same place and same time.."-He suggests this option and I don't think twice before answering him.

"Ok, I promise. See you then next year and take care. I will miss you, Alpha."-I answer him and try to leave, but he grabs my wrist and pulls me back, and kisses me again. This is not a slower kiss than the first but more passionate and ignites the fire inside me again. He will meet his mate after he turns 18 for sure, so when we will meet again he already has to be taken by a she-wolf and mated. I hate to end this kiss but I have to go and find my sister. Come back to earth after the kiss, one last look into his eyes and I turn and leave him. Goodbye Alpha Colton. Wish you the best in the future and your mate.
