Chapter 6

Savio's POV. Fiona walked in with her down and her fists balled in front of her, before her shiny appearance, her scent was the first thing that overwhelmed me. The heady mix of lilac and cinnamon that I knew didn't come from whatever lotions they'd used on her. I hated what that scent was doing to me, I hated the pangs of desire that I immediately felt when she walked in. Even my wolf, the treacherous bastard immediately started yearning for her. It took a great amount of self control to keep him back and I could tell it was the same for my brothers We hated her, but the bond between us doesn't. And that was a liability. The maid that brought her in bowed, shot her a dirty look then left. Leaving Fiona properly trapped in the room with us. Fiona's POV. I wasn't shaking, at least I was trying not to, so I balled my fists as tightly as possible and bit down so hard on my lower lip so hard that it bled. I kept my head down, not because I was afraid but because I knew if I looked into their eyes I'd start mouthing off and I couldn't do that, it'd go against the plan I'd hesitantly crafted as I wiped away tears when I was cleaning my own parents blood. I needed to get out of this place as quickly as possible and being a rebellious pest wouldn't help in how I wanted to do that. So I'd smile and play demure, even though I wanted to gouge their eyes out. I felt my wolf whimper at that thought but I shoved her and her preening for my evil mates down. I didn't need any stupid mate bond tampering with my revenge fueled emotions. "Look at us, Fiona," I heard one of their voices call out and I immediately did so, keeping my expression as placid as possible. I couldn't lie, looking at them hurt and twisted at the delicate fragments of the bond between us, but what hurt more was knowing that these three men were responsible for my parents death and the crummy life I was now forced to live. All three of them stared at me with varying degrees of amusement, the long haired one looked the most malicious, eyeing my freshly scrubbed self up and down with a burning hatred. I nearly shuffled back from the harshness of his stare. Even though I was trying my best to act tough these men were intimidating, tall and broad and from their demeanors one could tell they were absolutely ruthless. What did they want with me now? I truly wondered, clenching and unclenching my fists as I took in their finely crafted features one after the other. Didn't telling me to clean half of this huge manor satisfy them already? The long haired one sighs and walks over to me slowly. I dig my heels into the ground and force myself to stay put, even though his predatory walk made me want to run as far away as possible. He stood directly in front of me, close enough that his scent was even more overwhelming. I wanted to lean in, bury my face in his chest and just breathe in that scent. He smiles like he knows the way I'm feeling and then he grabs my face, I jolt at the sparks that shoot out from where he touches me and judging by the brief flash of irritation in his eyes I'm sure he feels it too. He turns back to his brothers, squeezing the sides of my face as he shows me to them. "What do you think brothers? A little too neat to have been cleaning all day don't you think?" The other two laugh as they watch me. One of them is sitting on a couch on the other side of the room, his eyes are lazy on me but like his brother's it has that unmistakable twinge of malice. I bite back a retort at their Snickers. I wasn't neat a few minutes ago, no I was covered in sweat and grime and smelling like two day old sweat. It was Giovanna that'd insisted on scrubbing till I looked the way I once did even though I'd wanted to march in here smelling like the mess I was. "Did you like the chores we picked out for you, love?" The one on his seat asked, smiling so nicely that an outsider would think we were old friends or something deceptive like that. I don't respond and turn my eyes down once more, glaring at the expensive rug and forcing myself not to scream back at him. The one holding my face tilts up roughly. "Look up when you're being spoken to b***h," he says in a low growl. I nod hesitantly and turn my eyes to the one on his seat. "Since you're still looking like a shiny princess it's clear that you haven't suffered enough," he says, releasing my face and walking back to his brothers. "What'd you say brothers, shall we batter her up a bit?" The one standing beside me nods sagely and leans against the wall behind him. I'm quivering a bit now. I was trapped in this room with these men all alone and even though I'd spent years learning basic self defence I knew I was well and truly powerless against them. "Shaking already, Fiona? You're going to be beyond trembling when we’re done with you," the long haired one says. I take a short step back and meet his eyes with a quivering jaw. "What are you going to do to me?" "Oh, so she speaks," the one standing says. "I thought you'd managed to become mute in a day, that would be a shame. I'd love to hear you scream." "And as to what we're going to do to you," the one on his seat says then walks towards me, his scent is overwhelming but it doesn't override the threat I feel in his presence. "We'll make you feel a lot worse than we did all these years after your parents ruined our lives." "My parents didn't do anything-" "You don't get to f*****g speak in heir defense," the long haired one hisses. "Your parents are f*****g backstabbers, they ruined our lives and now we're going to ruin yours." The triplet in front of me leans forward with a smile. "Now get on your f*****g knees."
