“I don’t get it,” I mumbled as we walked out of the army camp. There was a tip that a neighboring pack would attack our pack, but that wasn’t what I was confused about.
Gabriel looked at me with confusion. “What do you mean, Alpha? Is there anything more that we have missed? We’ve already laid out instructions to each group, set up traps around the pack, and all other reminders were set.”
“I don’t think it was what he’s worried about. Haven’t you heard the commotion yesterday?” Patrick responded, and I watched all three of them huddle around Patrick to gossip.
“Why, what happened? We were busy in here.” Aaron quickly responded.
Patrick heaved a sigh. “The council pulled an awful card. They had Hemming the Luna’s trainer. He saw it, and it was a total disaster.”
