CLARITY
I ran towards Stella as soon as I saw her. As expected, she was unbothered, but I’m really thankful that she still came today.
“Thank you for coming today.” I greeted her with a smile.
“Like I said, I was ordered to be here. I’ll be here as long as I’m needed.” She uttered and glanced around.
Her remark made me chuckle awkwardly. I was really worried that she’d be afraid of Alpha Amos and not show up, but she didn’t even look a bit concerned.
“I'm sorry for what happened yesterday.”
This time, I got a reaction from her. Her forehead crumpled in confusion. “Why are you apologizing?”
“Because you deserve one.” It must be so hard to see the person who killed her father, no matter what the reason and whoever’s fault it was. It’s plain painful.
