Chapter 3

Rogues......

Every body smelt it. Nate got up alone with the other pack members while everyone else went to the safe room. Yea that's not happening, my mission is more important.

I ran to the forest. I spotted the fighting. I shot five them and then the bastard rogue knocked the gun of of my hands. On to daggers and arm knife.

I killed 15 in total. Unfortunately there was alot of blood on my shirt.

Let's go save Nate.

He was being held down by 5 rogues. I killed them leaving a stunned Nate.

"Close your mouth or you'll catch flies." I said.

"Who are you?" He asked bewildered.

I'm now weighing my options to tell him truth or lie. Truth it is.

"My name is Elena Whitewood, commonly known as the devil's Daughter, your grandfather sent me to protect you." I explained

"Wait my grandfather? Wait backup, my grandfather is dead."

"No he isn't. He is the one that hired me. I know you hate me right now as soon as my job is done I'll leave you'll never have to see me again." He growled and held on to my waist.

"You will not go. I will not let you." He snarled.

Who does he think he is . He doesn't sign my paychecks. I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Your not the boss of me." I smirked.

"No but you are mine."

"Don't refer to me as a possession. You don't sign my paychecks so you don't get a say." I growled.

..My phone buzzed..

"Looks like your grandfather wants an update, and your no leaving my site . So lets go." He huffed.

We drove to headquarters. Nate held onto my waist as we walked. We walked to the office specifically his grandfather's and my head masters office.

..Knock knock knock ..

We walked in. The headmaster looked at us and smirked.

"I see you found you mate." I smirked back.

"Yea and he's you grandson." His smirk fell. He looked at Nate .

"I know." I growled.

"You knew!!! Dick." I muttered under my breath. Nate chuckled.

"You're all grown up Naty." My eyes widened and I bite my lip trying to contain my laughter.

"Naty?" I couldn't handle it. He groaned.

"You were dead."

"Well you see I faked it." Nate's jaw dropped. Before he could say anything.

"We have your report and your target. Eliminate the bounty." I nodded and he handed me a file.

"I thought you protect people." Nate look at me.

"I do but that's not my field of expertise." I looked away avoiding eye contact.

"Than what is your field." He asked.

"Assassination." He let go of me and took a step back.

..Nathan Fires..

"Great my mate's an assassin." I threw my hands up in the air in frustration.

"Yea, you didn't say that when I was saving your ass today." She looked hurt.

"Well this is a first . I would like to resign from this mission." She walked to my grandfather. He nodded .

We walked back to her car and she drove to her houses. It was huge.

"Get out." She said bluntly and went into the house. I followed.

Mate is upset go comfort her d**k. My wolf urged.

What am I gonna do she is a freak assassin. I said back.

Yes but she is our mate and we love her. He was right .

She was in a room packing clothes all of it.

"What are you doing?" She looked a me .

"What does it look like?"

"Packing?"

"Yes I'm packing."

"Why?"

"I resigned the mission . I'm leaving." She stated.

"No you are not." I gripped her waist pulling her to my chest. She pushed me away but I held on tighter.

"Watch me!" She pushed me again and damn was she strong. She was walking out the door so I did the only thing I could think of.

I ran and jumped her . Pinning her to the floor.

"You will not leave me . I just found you and I will not let you go. I love you god dammit. From the moment I layed eyes on you."

"Than why . Why did you look at me like that. I know that look too well, of rejection and regret." I crashed my lips onto hers , I kissed her poring all my love it to it. I pulled back to look at her and saw tears threatening to fall. I kissed her eyes.

"I will never let you go."

"But I'm an assassin."

"My assassin." I kissed her and she kissed me back. My wolf was howling in joy that his mate wanted him.

I let go of her arms and she placed it on my neck.

Chapter 4

I felt someone stroking my cheek. I opened my eyes to see a smiling Nathan. My mate.

"What?" I asked looking at him.

"Your so beautiful." He kissed me.

"What's going to happen?"I asked a bit worried.

"I don't know but as long as we are together it's okay." He sighed softly.

"That's so corny . I need to call HQ I can ask your grandfather for the mission back."I signed sitting up.

Nate still had his arm around me . I took my phone from the table.

..Ring Ring Ring ..

"Hello." His grandfather answered.

"Ada." I spoke in code.

"Yes Elena." He said.

"Can I have the mission back?" I asked.

"You were never off the mission in the first place." He said.

"You knew, didn't you?" I accused.

"Yes. I'll let you get back to it." He chuckled.

"Wait do I still need to go to school?" Hope was rising in me.

"No." He hung up. That Bastard hung up on me.

Wait...

No school!!!!! Yassss.

Nate brought me back to his naked chest. The only thing around us were white sheets to cover our naked bodies.

I know you think it's fast and all but for werewolves we are moving pretty damn slow considering we have know each other for three days.

{Their magically people they can have s*x if they want to. Their werewolves and soulmates. If you found your soulmate there's a fifth percent chance you'd jump him ;) ??}

He finally let me out after convincing and deal making. I got ready and walked out of the bathroom.

I walked to my wardrobe and took a couple of weapons.

The best thing were my shoes that had knives in them that eject. I had a couple daggers, guns and grenades with me.

Nate was making me go to school with him so I had no choice. And it was my job.

..Ughhh..

I went downstairs to meet him .

"Nate." I called.

No answer. I called again but something was wrong. I smelt blood. I ran to the kitchen and saw blood on the floor and a note.

The rogue king

I crushed the piece of paper in one hand. My eyes turned blood red. The eyes of the Devil's Daughter.

I got in my suit. (The one from the book cover)

I walked outside and smelt Nate . I made sure they saw me coming. They messed with the wrong b***h.

I saw two guards and took them from behind and slit their throats.

I left the bloodies. I cracked my neck bones.

I was just getting started and I wasn't gonna stop until each and every one of them were dead. I carved my initials onto their skin and and made it visible.

I wiped my blade and looked up flashing my eyes red and putting my mask on .

I walked throwing two draggers at two guys . They fell on the floor . The rest looked at me with fear. I let my wolf take over and ripped their hearts out . My arm knife was dripping blood as I went for the next kill using my knife from my shoe.

I went into the shadows. Making myself invisible. I ripped hearts out left them there. I walk twirling my daggers.

There was a stage. Nate was tied up to a chair. Someone was in front of Nate with his back turn from me. He turned and I saw fear in his eyes as well as confusion.

"What the . Your t.. the the." He stuttered. I cut him of.

"The Devil's Daughter Bitch."

Chapter 5

The Devil's Daughter

He looked at me in fear. I walked towards him. He backed away. He reached the end of the stage and jumped down. I cut Nate's ropes and ran after the rogue king. He ran into the woods. His scent got stronger.

He ran and I chased. I could hear his heavy breathing. I took one of my daggers and threw it at him.

I heard a grunt of pain. He laid on the ground bleeding. The dagger sticking out of his chest.

"Looks like the big bad rogue king isn't so tough." I taughted . He coughed blood.

"You bitch." He spat.

"Ouuu. Touché." I smirked although he couldn't see. I had my mask on.

"Why? We sent for that bastards mate. We didn't do anything thing to you." He coughed and dragged him self to the tree.

I took out my mask. "That bastard is my mate." I growled and ripped his heart out.

I lit a match and burned his body and watched it burn to ash.

I walked back. I saw Nate leaning against the wall looking at me. I rushed to him and he held me.

After everything he still had a smirked plastered on his face.

Chapter 6

The Devil's Daughter

Chapter 7

Nate's p.o.v

We walked out of the parking lot and everyone's head turned to stare . We walked through the Hall way. Everyone's attention was on Elena. The guys gawked and the girls glared.

Elena didn't seem to notice or care. I grabbed her waist.

I then saw someone I didn't want to see. Amy, the pack slut.

"Baby there you are." She completely ignored Elena and approached me. I groaned in disgust.

"Baby?" Elena narrowed her eyes.

"Why you got a problem bitch." She sneered. I growled. Amy looked taken aback by my growl.

"Actually I do when that's my mate." She took a step forward. she was taller than Amy and hotter and I was very much turned on right now.

"Sorry b***h he's mine." She sneered.

How dare she speak to my mate like that.

Rip her throat out my wolf begged. I growled at her.

"Listen here you Muppet reject, he is mine as in Mine not yours. You wanna dance, then lets. I'm not someone you wanna mess with especially today." Elena spat.

Wow rejected Muppet. Wow were does she it from. Pure gold. We were surrounded by people. Everyone laughed at Amy.

Chapter 8

Elena's p.o.v

One hour earlier.

After the little run in with Amy I was pretty pissy. I had enough of class so I did the first thing that popped in to my mind.

I skipped.

Yup. I skipped to go into the woods and drank a bottle of Jin.

And last thought would be

Hey I used to do that.

Your probably thinking around those lines. But I have a very high tolerance to alcohol. Remember a little detail about me. I'm an assassin. I'm the freaking Devil's Daughter!!!

So I have trained my body to not get effect by alcohol as much. See I said as much I still get effect but drugs don't work on me like spikes etc.

I'm back in the school hall. Yea I didn't get drunk unfortunately.

I saw someone I didn't think would ever come here.

I saw Chase Wilson. The very man who trained me and hired me. He was head of the headquarters. The man on top. Higher up than Nates grandfather.

But he was more. He was like my brother.

I walked towards him. His eyes found mine.

"Hello Lena." He said his face was emotionless. So was mine.

I walked up to him and I hugged him. He did the same to me instantly. We hugged and said nothing until.

"Hey Will." I always called him that. He Nestled his head in my hair.

We stay like that until we heard a growl. I instantly knew who that was. Nate did not look happy.

I got out of chases arms and went to Nate. Chase followed. Nate growled and pulled me against his body growingly

"Mine." Nate growled.

I pulled back and Nate did not like that.

"Nate meet my best friend like brother, chase." Nate's eyes soften.

"Will meet my mate and love Nathan." Chase smiled.

"Looks like your heart was finally stolen ay sis." I raised an eyebrow.

"Maybe but we'll talk about later. Whats the report?" I chuckled.

"What makes you think I have a report?" He smirked.

"I know you to well." He rolled his eyes.

"I guess when you spend 10 years you pick up a few things" I said.

"Fine sis. Fine it's on your MD." Which means mobile device. I mean he could have just said phone but that's the thing about people from HQ. They're paranoid as f**k.

I nodded and he hugged me and kissed my forehead and left. Not before earning a growl from Nate. I raised an eyebrow.

"Let's go." I intertwined our fingers.

We got home. I stopped outside the car. Nate looked at me confused.

"What's wrong."

"Nothing I just need to look at the report I'll be in a minute."

"Why don't you come inside."

"Because it will probably blow up and I don't want anyone to get hurt."

"Your joking. Does it really self destruct." He looked bewildered.

"Yea and its a b***h. Believe me." I said.

"Than I'll stay." He had to be so hard headed.

I took my phone and read it. First though.

Chapter 9

The first though was.

"f**k!!"

My mission was to take out Dale Evans. He was the baddest of the bad. He was everybody worse nightmare. And he is gonna die by my hands. But one problem. He's places was so heavily guarded even I couldn't get in.

I looked at my phone again for details.

It said the utopia. A club that was holding the biggest party of the year, probably of 2 years was tonight. Mr baddest of the bad was going to be there and so was I .

Nate was in front of me.

"What's wrong?." He asked concerned.

I crushed my phone in my hand and dropped it.

"Nothing. Just work." I sighed.

"Whatever it is you can tell me." He cupped my face and kissed me gently. I kissed back wrapping my hands around his neck. He pushed me on his car leaving nowhere to escape. He pulled back to look at me.

"I know. Its just the less you know the safer you are." I brought my lips back to his. One thing led to another and he ended up very happy.??.

We were lying in bed. My head on his chest.

"We are going out tonight. It was Sam's and Kaitlyn's idea and I have to go.(Sam is beta and his best friend. Kaitlin is his sister and Sam's mate.)" He leaned down.

"I can't I have to work and I should go get ready now I'll see if I can come though after." I pecked his lips and He groaned.

"By why. Stay." He whined. I turned and looked at him amused.

"Are paying me one billion dollars to do something." I raised an eyebrow. He eyes widened.

"1 billion. Who are you gonna kill, the president?" I chuckled and rolled my eyes.

I got ready and put on a white outfit. I had to stand out and get to Dale. I hid my knives and guns and not forgetting my wire bracelet. I loved using it.

I got out to see Nate was ready. He growled.

"You are not going out like that! What are you wearing?"

His eyes turned black.

"Yes I am and a top and skirt." I smirked.

"Where's the rest of it ." Just before I could answer my phone buzzed. I've a lot of phones.

It was time for me to go.

I looked at Nate.

"Nate it just undercover stuff nothing else and I need to go." I walked away before he could say anything else. I got in my car and put perfume on and drove to the club.

The place was packed. I made my way to the bar looking for Dale. I looked around and saw him in the table area with a bunch of guys.

Bingo.

He spotted me and I smiled at him seductively. He smirked and made his way to me. The dumb ass took the bait . He was next to me. I honestly didn't think it would be that easy. I mean I did just come here.

"What's a sexy lady like you doing in a place like this." He said seductively in my ears.

"Looking for a good time." I purred. Damn this is disgusting but I'm a good actor.

"What's your name?" He asked .

"Amber and yours?"

"Dale. Come on let's get a drink." He got me a drink and flirted with me.

Then it happened I smelt Nate. What in God's name is he doing here.

I turned and he saw me with Dale. He was angry and hurt. I quickly mind linked him.

Nate I'm undercover and I need to kill this bastard. So don't do anything stupid. I warned.

He took a breath and relaxed.

"Let's get outta here." I purred

"There's a hotel next door. Why don't we take this party there." He took the bait. Dumb ass. I mean come on. You don't just go with someone just like that. What if the person you're going with kills you?

Well that is what I'm doing.

We walked. Nate's eyes followed us. I acted like I didn't see it and continued walking. Dale put his arm around me and we walked to the hotel and got a room . We walked in.

He grabbed me and was about to kiss me when I kneed him and got the wire and put it around his neck and strangled him.

That wasn't easy he put up quite a fight. To a point where he cut me but come on. Baddest of the bad????

The door opened reviling a very very angry Nate.

He looked down and saw Dale's dead body and back to me.

I was sitting down with my legs crossed like a boss ass b***h with my phone to confirm the death and also catching my breath. Nate looked at my cut and worry was written All over him.

He rushed over me and checked.

"God Nate I'm fine." I groaned.

"No your not. Do you know how worried I was. He could of hurt you ."

"Nate I know how to do my job." My phone buzzed and I saw the bank transfer one billion in my bank account. I grinned.

"Looks like I'm not going to work for a while." I grinned.

"Your on house arrest." He said flatly. I chuckled.

The clean up crew came and took the body.

I turned and looked at Nate.

"I'm not the best in the business for nothing." He rolled his eyes.

"Oh so you don't think I'm the best I was gonna suggest we celebrate in a special way but now I don't think so." His eyes widened.

"No I think you are the best. Let's celebrate." He threw me over his shoulder and got to my car.

We drove home and he picked me up and ran to his room. We saw pack members that looked at us in confusion and worry and then realization. I blushed scarlet. He threw me on the bed and he got his wish.

I woke up everything was perfect. My mate was sleeping next to me. I was surprisingly alive and life was good.

Then the door opened reviling my mate's hyper sister. I quickly covered myself.

"Kaitlin!" I screamed.

Nate shot up and growled.

"Kaitlin ever heard of knocking." We both covered ourselves.

"I know I'm sorry. Mum want to know when the ceremony is." She covered her eyes.

"Tomorrow and don't act like your so innocent."

"Nate apologize to your sister. That's no way to talk to your sister."

"I didn't do anything." He whined.

"Nate apologize."

"I'm sorry."

She grinned and walked outside and shut the door.

"I didn't do anything wrong."

"I know but it was a way to get her out faster." I woke up and locked the door and headed to the bathroom. I turned around.

"Coming?" His eyes lit up like a child on Christmas morning. He picked me up and we saved water.??.

Chapter 10

It been a week since my mission. Nate has me on house arrest. I love him but he is such a pain sometimes. I am not going to school anymore. I mean I already finished that and college.

I didn't get a six degrees for nothing. Right now I'm signing some documents for my company. Yea I have a company. So there was no way I was going to continue school.

Nate walked through the door with a red box with a ribbon on it.

"There you are. Use this be ready by five." He handed me he box and walked out before I could say anything. I opened the box and it had a beautiful dress inside with a necklace.

It finished the paperwork and it was three so I went to shower and do basics.

One and half hours later

I was ready just doing final touches.

I got my phone and took a picture. Even though I'm an assassin and all I still do take out selfies. I just don't post them, but don't look at my camera roll.

There was knock at the door.

I opened it to see a very hyper Kaitlyn .

She squealed."You look amazing."

She took my arm and took me down stairs. I mean for a she-wolf she is stronger.

I saw Nate wearing a suit. He looked at me and his jaw dropped. I smirked. I went to him and he held my waist.

"You look gorgeous." He said breathlessly.

"You look very handsome." I kissed his cheek.

"When I have to stand next to someone as gorgeous as you I have to look my best." He consumed my lips. I pulled back looking at him and the red lipstick on his lips.

I laughed and tried to wipe it off. Until he stopped me.

"I gladly wear it if its from your lips." He kissed me again.

"Alright you two . Time to go." His mom said shooing us.

We laughed and went to his car. He opened the door and I got in. He got in himself and I held his hand.

"Where are we going." I asked.

"It's a surprise." He kissed me . Just a peck though.

After half an hour he finally pulls up in the middle of nowhere. He looks at me and holds up a piece of fabric.

"Sorry love you can't see." He blindfolds me.

"Don't tell me you brought me here to kill me. Nate you off all people should know it won't be that easy." He chuckled.

"I would never dream of hurting you." I got out of the car. Even though I can't see with my eyes. I can still see with my other senses. I walk to the part.

"How do you know were you are going?" He asked confused.

"I don't. Just because I can't see through my eyes doesn't mean I can't see." He chuckled softly.

"Right. How?"

"Years of training and perfection."I smirk. He huffed.

He walks over to me. He suddenly swept me of my feet. I giggled. He kissed my cheek. And started to walk.

"Elena."

"Hmm."

"Are you happy?"

"Yes I am. I'm happy and I haven't been in a long time. I'm happy and it's because of you. OH GOD I'm turning into a love struck puppy!" I said in panic. He laughed.

"Your not I'm happy that your happy. It's just I'm scared someone better will come and you will leave me."

"Nate you are perfect. There is no one better for me and I would never leave you. Ever. I'm happy as long as I'm with you." I kissed him with all my heart. Just pouring out the love.

He kissed me with just as much passion but then pull back.

"I love you." I said

"I love you more." He said

"I love you to infinity." I replied

"I love you too infinity and beyond." He kissed me.

We continue to walk well he did. I was being carried.

He came to a stop. "We're here." He put me down and held my waist. He took of my blindfold. I gasped. The scene was out of a movie.

There was soft music playing in the background. My love - Sia.

It was amazing. Nate led me to the table. "Do you like it."

"Nate it's amazing. I love it."

"Good." We ate and conversed about random things. He got up.

"May I have this dance." He held his hand out. I took it and got up. He pull me to his chest. He spun me around. When I turned he was on one one knee. I gasped.

"I know it early and we've only known each other for a little while. And I know we a young but I love you. More than anything. Please make me the happiest man on earth and do me the honor in becoming my wife."
