Chapter 6: I Am Your Luna

*Aiden Pov

I couldn't sleep a f*****g wink. I know i f****d up last night and Sam hasn't shut up about it. He's mad that i made our mate cry and now she isn't talking to me. I have been standing out her door for about 15 minutes now not sure what to say.

    'I do. Just f*****g apologize already so we can finish the mating process.'

'f**k off Sam i'm trying'

I knock on the door a bit louder than i was intending and i hear her rustling, like she has fallen out of the bed. 

"Evie can you open the door so we can talk please? I wanna talk about last night."

Nothing. Maybe i really f****d up and she's to scared to talk to me now. Ah f**k me this girl will be the death of me before i even become Alpha. Before i could bang on the door even louder she open's the door wearing a long t-shirt and wet hair. I never noticed last night but she has beautiful purple hair with a bit of blue in it and her eyes are a vibrant violet color. Goddess she was beautiful. I have a feeling she doesn't really think that about herself.

    "What do you want Aiden?"

Ha maybe she does have some bite in her after all. 

"Can you get dressed in 10 minutes? We need to head to the pack house and re-introduce you as their future Luna."

"And would you like me to pull clean clothes out of my ass or?"

'Hahaha and you thought she was weak. Maybe you lit a fire under her ass and she woke up a Luna!"

    Her personality change is quite amusing, i wonder how long she will be able to keep it up for.

"Well if you ask a bit nicer i will give you some clothes my betas mate has left for you. She also wanted to know if you needed help getting ready?"

    She just stood there and stared at me for a few seconds before she spoke again. 

"No thank you i can get ready by myself. May i PLEASE have the clean clothes she has left for me?"

I could help but laugh at her attitude she is like a completely different person from last night. I'm not gonna lie it's hot. 

    I toss her the clothes and tell her to get ready as fast as she can so we don't make the pack wait to long. The last thing i want is for someone to hype up the crowd. 

        I walk down the stairs and jump on my phone to confirm that everyone is at the pack house. I could just mind link them but sometimes this is faster. Looks like everyone is there waiting on us now. Just as i am mid text to Jackson (my beta) telling him i am about to leave she walks down the stairs. I look up and she is absolutely breathtaking. Her hair is in a high ponytail with hair coming down the sides framing her face perfectly. She doesn't need makeup but it looks like shes put a little lipstick on making her face look a little less pale. She is beautiful and by goddess she is mine.

*Evie Pov

I managed to find some lipstick in the room i slept in, i'm not even going to ask which flavor of the month left that. I managed to finish my hair and luckily the dress fit me perfectly. It was a short white dress that hugged me breasts in all the right places but wasn't to short to show my ass thankfully. I didn't need the pack to see all my bits. I finally start to walk down the stairs and a wave of fear hits me. I have been so brave since i woke up this morning i feel like another person. That's probably thanks to Scarlet. Having her back has felt amazing like a missing piece of me has finally returned. I'm afraid he will be disappointed when he sees me. Do i look like a Luna? Can i pass as one. Can my new found confidence foul them into thinking i am up for the task.

    'Evie you need to calm down. Go to our mate and things will be a bit clearer for you.'

'I hope you right Scarlet. I really do.'

    I walk downstairs and see Aiden sitting on the couch texting someone. I slowly walk down the steps praying i look alright. The last thing i need is for him to tell me i look like trash and to try again. I get about half way down when he takes notice that i'm there. He looks up and just stares at me. He's staring so intently i don't know what to do. I stop dead in my tracks avoiding his gaze, have i done something wrong? 

"Cat got your tongue?"

    He quickly snaps his eyes to mine looking soft and kind, thank god. 

"You look beautiful Eve. Truly."

I feel my face turn bright red as i descend the rest of the staircase. I let out a breath i hadn't realized i was holding. Aiden stood up and came over and took my hands. 

    "Are you ready?"

"As ready as i will ever be."

I force a small smile and take my hand in his as we make our way to the pack house.

It only took about 10 minutes before the pack house came into view. My whole stomach just twisted into nots, I really hope i'm not making a mistake. Just me getting Scarlet back shows that it isn't, if i had hadn't discovered Aiden as my mate they would never have called out for her and i would be getting weaker by the day. The pack doesn't really scare me, not like Aiden's family does. If anyone can make this day turn into a nightmare it's his brother and Father.

*Aiden Pov

    It only took us about 10 minutes or so before we arrived at the pack house. I can tell Eve is freaking out, she hasn't stopped shaking since we got in the car. She is putting on a brave face so i'm trying to pretend that i haven't noticed. I linked the boys to let them know we are pulling up the driveway but everyone was already waiting for us outside. We both hop out of the car and the moment they see Evie everyone starts talking. I walk around to her side and take her hands in mine and lead her into the house.

    "Alpha, Luna nice to officially meet you."

"Evie this is Jackson my beta. If you ever need anything and can't find me or i am away you can trust him. I do with my life."

    Evie takes her hand out of mine and shakes Jacksons hand with a small smile.

"Hi Jackson. I look forward to working with you in the near future."

As everyone begins to pile into the house i give Jackson a nod letting him know that we are ready to start. 

"Thank you all for joining us today on very short notice! I thought the sooner we let everyone know the good news the better. I know that everyone has had their speculations on why i have asked you all hear today and as some of you have guessed yes it is to introduce to all of you my mate and your future Luna. Evie Summer."

Everyone has gone dead silent, i can't tell if it is due to the shock or out of respect for my announcement. I look over to Evie and try to give her a comforting smile and let her know that now is the time for her to speak. But before she even had a chance to my brother just walked in. 

    He had a very smug look on his face as he stared down Evie waiting for her to fall apart from his glare.

"So you have gathered us all here to tell us that the future of this pack is f****d? Do you really expect us to accept that this f*****g rouge is our new Luna?"

    I'm going to rip his f*****g head off, he has no i-

"No. That's not what he is saying at all."

    Evie takes a step forward putting herself between me and my brother and surprisingly she doesn't look scared, if anything she looks like she is illuminating confidence. 

"And who the f**k do you think you are? Your nothing more than a little b***h that doesn't know her place."

    "You seem to be confused. I know my place quite well, i think it is you that needs to learn your place. Just as Aiden has said I am his mate and your future Luna. Contrary to what most of you have said over the years i have nothing but love and respect for this pack and only wish to make it stronger and happier like it was before we lost our beloved Luna to rouges. I know many of you believe that i had something to do with it because of how i was brought into the pack and the timing. But i just want you all to ask yourselves, if i truly wished to harm this pack would i have stopped with killing the Luna? If i knew the rouges that killed her and infiltrated the pack why wouldn't i lead them straight to where everyone else was that was completely defenseless and try to take the land? Or maybe the most important question of all, would the moon goddess really pair me up with Aiden if all i wanted was the destruction of his family and pack?"

    "I don't think so and i think you all deep down think the same. And if Aiden agrees i would like him to mark me right here right now to show all of you my loyalty and commitment to all of you."

     I look over to my mate and she has me in complete awe of her. I wasn't sure what she was going to say but it seems like she has most of the rooms respect. I walk over to her and wrap my hands around her waist and bring my head down so i am right next to her ear. 

    "Are you sure love? Once i mark you there is no going back?"

    "I know, which is why i want you to mark me here and now to show them i will not back down."

I brush the hair off her shoulder and begin to kiss right between her neck and shoulder to let her know where i will be marking her. I feel her nod in confirmation and i begin to suck on her neck while slowly piercing her snow white skin with my canines. I could feel her struggle against me for a second fighting against the pain which i'm assuming soon turned to pleasure. As soon as i finish marking her i can feel our bond instantly growing stronger.

    Evie takes a step forward towards the pack and begins to beam at them with a breath taking smile.

"Thank you for being here and i hope in time i can gain the the respect and strength from each and everyone of you to make this pack better. And in time i hope to make you all proud as your Luna."
