Isabella’s POV

“Mummy!” Kaylene screamed on top of her voice. I was woken up by that and rushed to her holding her, dahlia followed me behind

“Mummy! There was someone in here!” she cried out holding onto me like something was after her

“It’s okay sweetie, mummy is here!” I held her in my arms asking Dahlia to check who it was

“Mummy I am still hearing their voices!” she cried and I didn’t know what to say to her, maybe it could be her wolf trying to come out.

“Isabella!” Dahlia called me, and I let go of Kaylene assuring her that she’s fine

“What is it?” I asked her seeing she was concerned

“I think there people here! What should we do?” Dahlia asked me

“I want you to take Kaylene and run! I will try to stay and buy you time” I told Dahlia wo was shaking her head as I spoke

“Yes, you need to go with her! I have no strength to carry her but you can!” I said pleadingly with her

“Okay! I will take her!” Dahlia said both of us going to Kaylene

“I will meet you at the cave! Kaylene sweetie I want you to go with auntie Dahlia okay?  I will be following you behind” I assured them as dahlia got Kaylene

“Mummy! I don’t want to go!” Kaylene said holding me tight

“Sweetie I promise you that I will follow you behind Okay?  Get your doll okay?” I said to Kaylene.

I rushed to my room packing all valuables I had in a bag and handing it to her as she was holding on to Kaylene. I helped her enter the tunnel that was in the basement, I pulled her and kissed her lips “I will be behind you two!” I said to her before closing the door.

I heard the wolves howl outside and I started casting an incanting spell so they couldn’t pick Kaylene’s scent. I heard the door open behind me but I didn’t stop.

“She’s casting a spell!” I heard the familiar voice behind me say before I was swiftly pushed away hitting myself on the wall

I groaned in pain as I tried to stand up. “Where’s she?” The voice asked me

“You are too late!” I replied smiling as I was stood up

“Oh darling! Actually, I came at the right time!” He said before he stabbed me in my stomach

I let the tears fall from my eyes as I looked at him feeling the betrayal of the man, I shared the bed with last night.

“Find the girl! And kill the witch!” I heard him shouted to his wolves

“Yes Alpha!” They answered at once running out of the house.

I tried to hold him back but he pushed me away

Dahlia’s POV

I felt it in me! Something had! I inwardly said to myself as I made my way to the cave.

“Kaylene honey! I want you to go inside and don’t come out okay?” I said to her as I pushed her to go inside

“Am scared aunt Dahlia!” she cried holding on to me

“It’s fine honey all will be well!” I assured her hugging her, “I want to go and help mummy so make sure you hide very well okay?” I said to her and she nodded her head

I said goodbye to her as I rushed back to the house, we lived in a cabin in the mountains so I knew them very well.

Before I could even go out, I was surrounded by wolves, “Well! well! Seems tonight is our lucky night boys!” Marcus said as he changed to his human form

“What do you want Marcus? Kill your own daughter? All because of power?” I said to him as I was looking round to find a weak one that I can attack.

“You see that’s where you have it all wrong! I wasn’t planning on killing her, all those illusions Isabella saw are things I wanted her to see” He boastfully said as he walked around

“Now I will let you live as long as you tell me where the girl is” He said looking like a monster he was

“I don’t know where she is and even if I knew I wouldn’t tell you!” I scoffed looking how cruel these creatures where

“Bring her!” He shouted and I looked into the direction where some of his wolves were going. Minutes later they were dragging out Isabella who was still breathing but slowly losing her blood

“Isabella!” I cried looking at her

“Dahlia why did you come back?” She asked me with pain in her voice

“Am so sorry!” I cried looking at her, wanting to cast a spell before I knew it, I felt my heart being ripped out of me.

I looked at the man before me and it was a vampire!  I could hear Isabella’s cry as I fell to the ground.

Author’s POV

Isabella cast her last spell and rushed to Dahlia whose body was lying there

“Am sorry!” Isabella cried as she held on to dahlia

“this was touching to watch but we need to find the girl!” he announced as he walked away

“Oh, and kill the witch!” He said turning to Marcus who nodded his head

Marcus himself ripped out her heart giving it to Victor as a souvenir

 Isabella and Dahlia lay there lifelessly.  As Kaylene was in the cave waiting for her mother to come and get her
