Life in a wolf pack

Kaylene’s POV

“Good Morning Everyone! Am glad everyone is here! I am sure you are all wondering who the young lady besides me is! She’s my first-born daughter Her name is Kaylene Ann Rivera.” He said pausing for a minute to wait for the murmurs to calm down in the room before he went on to speak

“And I expect everyone to treat her the same way you would treat any of my children” He said to them and the murmurs continued as they were asking each other questions. “Silence!” He shouted on top of his voice it was like a lion roaring that it also frightened me

“She’s my daughter and I expect you to treat her like one, If I find any of you treating her like an outside be ready to face the consequences” He yelled at them and they all looked down. Saying in Unison “Yes Alpha”  

“Take her around! I want her to see this place!” He said to a lady whom I came to know as Susan the Omega

I went to the room and changed into something that could be comfortable to walk in. My room was like that of a princess, it had a walk-in wardrobe and It had different types of shoes all I needed to do was to choose what I wanted. If I wasn’t mourning my mother and Aunt dahlia right now, I would be jumping around but they were taken from me

When I finished getting dressed, I went downstairs with Sue the Omega.

 I was taken round the Pack grounds by the lady who was asked to me. They all had titles which I didn’t really quietly understand. I followed her around and the people who saw me would turn around look away.

She went on explaining about the pack and who to see if I needed help but she stopped me from going far from home.

We were at it for some hours before we finally went back home. Immediately I entered the house I was greeted by the presence of the one they called Luna, Sue slightly bowed her head and I stood there looking at them.

“Good evening Luna!” She said to her

“I see you are not teaching this child manners!” the Luna said to Susan,

Sue lifted her head to look at me and she was puzzled to look at me sit standing upright.

“Forgive me Luna, I just started by showing her around. I will make sure she learns our way of life” Sue replied her voice trembling as she spoke.

“I see! Listen here Kaylene!” She said coming to me where I stood her right hand lifting my chin making me look into her eyes.

“I don’t care whatever you are! You might be Marcus’s daughter but if you ever cross my path, I definitely put you in your right place” She said with venom in her voice. She pushed me away and walked away. Tears fell from my eyes thinking of what I did wrong. Sue lifted her head after the Luna left, she pulled me in her arms helping me go to the bedroom.

“Don’t put what she said to heart, I know you will do right!” She said to me and I nodded my head

But I was really hurt! I spent the rest of the day in my room without talking to anyone.

I wondered how my life would be living in a wolf pack as a witch and wolf. From the looks of it, I doubt it will be as smooth as it was when I lived with my mother

A year later

Sue had asked me to go and get some herbs for her from the pack’s herbalist because she needed to make cream for the Luna.  I voluntarily offered to be helping Sue even though Marcus asked me to just be like any regular child

“hello Kay! How can I help you?” Marissa asked me as I arrived there panting in a cream dress and sandals

“Sue asked me to get her parcel from you!” I said as she went to pick up the box, she put everything into.

“Thank you!” I said getting the box from her hands and dashing off to Sue’s room, before I reached there, I was blocked by Ivan and His friends.

“What’s up witch?” He said to me but I ignored him trying to find a way I can walk out of there

“Let me go Ivan! Father told you not to call me that” I said trying to make a way out. Ivan was my step brother from father’s side and he was a year younger than me but he still bullied me through his older friends who would submit to him as alpha.

“Don’t dare mention my father in this!” he said pushing me away, “Let me go!” I said standing nicely

“What’s this witch?  Herbs to cast a spell?” He said trying to get the box from me but I moved it from him and his friend quickly snatched it from me

“Give it back!” I shouted at him but he got them and threw them on the ground and stepping on them.

“No! I cried trying to pick up what was left when they started hitting me all six of them

Die! You witch! Ivan shouted as he continued hitting me

Streuen! I shouted in German which meant Scatter in English as I saw them being thrown away like pieces of papers.

I stood up and saw them lying there groaning in pain. Ivan had hit his head and blood was coming out.

I knew I had messed up and was going to be in trouble with the Luna even though Ivan was the one who started the fight/

"Oh my God Kay! What did you do?" Sue asked looking at me as I stood there in shock.

"I don't know Sue! I just...." I cried looking at the boys I had hurt

"You know you are forbidden to use magic" She said to me and I trembled in fear last time I used magic someone almost died at my hands
