CHAPTER 7- MATE

My wolf tells me she's a fine person. Innocent and a little bit sad. Even if we're half sisters, my father's blood is still running in her veins. Blood is indeed thicker than water. Another reason is, I don't want to look like an evil half-sister. A part of me still longed for a family.

She tagged along without even asking where we're going, we shared the ride with silence. The meeting will be held at Blood Moon's pack. Just a three hour drive away from our territory. I ordered our driver to stop when we reached the forrest side of our territory. I didn't sleep after the ceremony, instead I went back to the forest and told Luca to prepare me six of our strongest men to escort me. I've sent Mr. Gibbs back to the mountain to deliver their suits to fit the occasion. Now, Mr. Gibbs personally works for me. He doesn't need to answer anything to the council because he'll only answer to me. His Queen.

Amber was curious as to why we've stopped in the middle of the forest but she kept quiet and waited as well.

"We're here, Princess. " I heard Alexis speak to me in our mind-link. My coronation was still unknown to them,they still address me as Princess.

"Get inside the two cars behind me." I ordered him and six of them came out from the woods wearing the suits, they looked like skilled and dangerous bodyguards. I needed men I can count on. I trained these boys so I know they're the best. I can't go to a stranger's pack unprepared, just in case.

"Who are they, sister? " Amber asked. Worried we're being attacked.

"I hired them. They're my personal security, Amber." I answered and looked away. I don't want to answer her questions anymore. It's better she doesn't know. She must have seen the cue she didn't ask anymore.

We've arrived at the border of the pack and we were stopped by the wolves patrolling the border. I handed the driver the invitation letter before heading out. The driver rolled his window down and showed a half naked man with a less dangerous aura which I have detected, a Beta. He grabbed the letter and motioned us to follow him. After ten minutes we've reached a white mansion.

"Please wait here." He instructed my driver. I didn't get out of the car. After a short moment the pack's Beta came back this time with his shirt on.

" Come in, follow me." He said and turned his back walking slowly towards the mansion entrance. I opened the door and went outside. I waited for my sister to be on my side before walking inside. My men followed me. We followed the pack's Beta and stopped when we've reached the door labeled as Alpha's office. The beta turned to face us and was surprised. I looked deep into his eyes and smiled while reading his thoughts. He thought I was beautiful. He recovered shortly from my charm.

" They're inside. But Your bodyguards can't come inside. Only Alphas are allowed inside." He informed me. By the dark and powerful aura he's sensing from me he have noted to himself I'm an Alpha.

" You will address her as Princess." Alexis said to Ace while he gritted his teeth. He was irritated the way Ace have conversed with me.

My warriors always learned their lesson the hard way when they are trained by me. Even at a simple mistake of failing to address me properly, I made them suffer. I was always strict and my words rule them like a law. My title must always be remembered with respect.

" I'm sorry, Princess." he apologized.

Amber on my side looked confused when she heard Alexis still addressed me as princess but did not try to be involve in my business. She was more confused when I did not correct Ace as well when he talked to me casually. She knew I was here for an important matter and so she wanted to help me by not voicing out her questions and simply shutting up her curiosity. She was scared she might say the wrong words and ruin things for me.

"Will you accompany my sister? Mr-?" I asked hanging my words so he would introduce himself.

"Ace, I'm the packs beta, Princess" He introduced himself and rank which I have guessed right. "Don't worry about her, I'll show her around " he added.

He opened the door for me what a gentleman he is. But my admiration was abruptly cut with a sweet smell. Honey and vanilla and the fresh smell of the forest.

I stepped into the room looking beautiful but sharp. My eyes wandered around the room but he wasn't there. I don't know where the smell was coming from. Reina is restless. What a horny b***h she is.

Eleven men were looking at me, admiring me,some were actually formulating how to approach me. Some didn't look pleased with my presence. I didn't wait for them to speak to me first since they're all busy battling their thoughts.

" Goodmorning gentlemen. Am I late?" I asked as friendly as I could but it's just not my nature to be friendly so I sounded more like I'm more interested in going down to business than to socialize.

" Good morning, Your Majesty. My name is Jaired Anderson, Alpha of Black Moon pack." He introduced himself and handed me his hand for a hand shake. I shaked his hand but his grip was a little tight I was surprised that he brought my hand to his lips and kissed it lightly. Reina was angry at the kiss.

"He's not our mate. Kill that high born bastard." Reina was trying to get out but I did not let her.

"Ehem." Someone made a sound as if to break the little courtship and there it is. The sweet smell. I followed the scent and my eyes landed on the one who interrupted the scene. I immediately pulled my hand back and pretended I wasn't affected at all.

Mate.
