Chapter 9 ( Picnic )

The next day, Luna asked Mia and Stella and their mothers to help her with a picnic for the pack. The Luna always have it every year for the orphanage children of the Silvermoon pack , to make them feel special and loved too, and Mia and Stella were in charge of playing with them, thinking of games to play with them, while the Luna and Beta and Gamma females decorated the garden and sorted out all the lovely things to eat and also they made sure to give each child a small gift too. Mia loved doing this. It was the best thing in this world to give back ,only if it meant time, your time and love, and for Luna, it was a part of being Luna and, of course, Mrs. Grey and two others of the elders were always there to talk about our traditions and to talk with the rest of the pack .

The picnic was looking very festive and everywhere you looked baskets and blankets were sprayed open for the orphans and the rest of the pack. It was also a day on which a family could adopt a pup to raise as their own, but aside from that, the children of the orphanage were happy and had a good life. They were a part of the pack too and they were always spoiled by the Luna , and the Alpha was like a dad to them all. "Mia my love, won't you get this old woman a glass of cold water please with some lemon, I feel a bit bloated today ? ", Mrs. Grey asks and, because Mia is so kind hearted, it was nothing for her to do this for this loving old Luna, who is now an Elder. "Sure Mrs. Grey, I'll be right back". So as I walk inside the packing house it is not busy at all and most of the pack must be outside already going to the picnic, enjoying this blissful day, so she walks to the big old kitchen that normally will have omegas in it to prepare the food, but today they are also at the picnic and so it is quiet. Mia takes a nice long glass, opening the fridge to pour in the nice cold water and then she looks for the damn lime and its on top of the big grey fridge, so she stretches up and, lucky for Mia, one is in the front so she takes it and gets a knife and just as she cuts A voice startle her from behind and she cuts her finger. "Ouch dammit!!". "Here let me help". Alex says stepping in from the shadow, he takes her hand and sees that she has cut open her finger, so he takes it into his mouth and sucks on it to clear it from the blood and, stopping the bleeding and this catches Mia of guard. "What the hell are you doing Alex,?, I'm fine, you don't need to …., "Just stay still ", he says and him licking and sucking my bloody finger made my whole body wane melt ,but it was soon over as he stopped and gave me back my hand , the cut was now feeling so much better. "Thank you , sorry I need to get this to your grandma so yeah.", I say feeling so awkward about what just happened. "Sure , oh and next time be more careful Mia, knives are sharp you know, oh and one more thing ...my grandma likes two slices of lemon". he says while licking his lips and walking out with his sexy smirk and dammit his sexy black leather jacket and that lips that was just around my finger. This was not good. So I sliced the lemon , two like he said, and headed back to hand her her drink, only to again see Alex by the food table and look for some reason. Just one or two of his minions stood there. "Thank you Mia my dear, and how did you know I wanted two slices?", she asks, smiling, and as I look over to her grandson she only looks at me and winks as if already knowing what went down. "Pleasure mam, please excuse me I see my mother is calling me". So I leave her and as I do some of the small kids call me over to join them in their game of 'hunting the wolf,' I know damn, right ?, but yes that's kids for you, so I join in and it's a game of catching and running and so they chose me to be the 'wolf' and I gladly take it on ,so as I count the kids need to look for me and I must try and hide so I run to the river's side and because I know this part well I hide behind a big rock near the water and as I sit there someone falls down besides me and again it's Alex. "What the?...…I ask. "Sorry but these kids are little monsters". he says and I laugh at him looking a bit scared so he also smiles and man I can feel the damn butterfly's, so I get up wanting to go, but he pulls me back and as I go down I land on his you know what ,and he just smiles looking into my eyes and then without warning he kisses me full on , on the lips but the only thing I can think to do is slap him, even though I did not want do that , I was just shocked at his action and the whole day ,so I got up and looked at him and man he was mad as hell. "Mia what the fu*k ?, I kiss you and you slap me ?, …fine just forget it, loser". he says. "Yes Alex you kissed me, why ?, I thought you hated me ,you always bully me at school and now you kiss me and suck my bloody finger, Why???!!!!!, I ask him feeling a bit out of place. "Never mind it was my mistake nerdo !! , just leave it be and I swear Mia if you tell I will ..". "What Alex hurt me?". "No, I mean ,Yes Mia". "Thought so, you are really a monster" .I say feeling the tears in my eyes wanting to come out. "Yeah ,well luckily you can still kiss that Liam guy , at least he would want a looser like you, a nerd and you would propobily not mind doing him ,would you ?" .he says and to think he could say that about me makes me wanna throw up ,so I start running away wanting to just run to my room and ones again hide but as I run I run into Will .

"Were you going pupet?". "Nowhere Will just let me leave". "Why would I ? ,seeing you are still on". "No the game is over, I'm going home". and as I wanna walk past him , he stops me and before he can do anything Alex stopes him saying to him while looking at me. "Come Will leave this nerdo , let's go find the real girls hey, what you say bro?", and so he smirks' at Alex. "Sure bro better then looking at her". so he and Alex walk away leaving me again so I can go hide in my room and so I do because this was what I did when they were being complete asses . My room was my world, my safe place and, yes, even though the picnic was nice and we used to love it, it was too crowded for me now and I did not want to see those idiots again for the rest of the day. The picnic was a big success and everyone loved the food and the games, and so the kids sang a song, thanking the Luna and Beta and Gamma females, and I could hear their singing from my balcony. At least I could ,because it was so nice and then they all went home and the ones that wanted to stay were welcome to continue into the night as we werewolves mostly do. We like to have parties and eat and run as a pack too. So after listening, I closed my doors and went for a bath and then tried to go to sleep because tomorrow will be the going away party for Alex, to go away to Alpha camp, as they call it, and it means a bit of peace for me and, at least Will doesn't attend school too much, so I will have some space to breath and I will get to see my new friend Liam and Stella too.

My bed was very big and could have ten more people sleeping on it ,so I was very lucky., but my mind was all over the place and Stella kept sending pictures of the picnic. " So tomorrow pretty boy is going away finally", Stella laughs and I know she is glad to. "Yes seems so but why do you ask me?". "because I saw you coming out the woods and he and Will was again following you , what did they want Mia ?". "Trouble that's what,", I say and then I see a new message coming through and it is a unknown number ,so I tell Stella we will talk again tomorrow, so she agrees and leaves the chat so I can see who the new message was from. The message read: Hi pretty girl, what you're doing ?... And now I am worried so I decide not to answer and then a new message comes. : Hey it's only me ,Liam. So as I see it, I feel so much better, but wonder where he got my number from. O ..hi Liam .. sorry I was busy. I write back. No Mia, it's all good. I just wanted to hear if I can pick you up tomorrow, seeing you loved my bike the last time.. Sure, yes, I would like that. What time?.. Let's say around 7:30 ?????????? Yes, OK sounds fine to me. Great see you tomorrow then, pretty girl., sweet dreams... :) Goodnight Liam xx, And then we ended the message and for some reason I felt excited to see him and to think I, got to ride on the back of his bike again, holding onto him just gave me thrills but I know he is just friendly and so I turn of my nightlight and drift of to a well earned sleep.
