Chapter 4 (Treasure)

" Little boys and little girls get together for some treasure hunting, the fun starts, so get some love in your hearts!!", the big old pirate shouts, holding on to his walking stick and looking at the so-called bird sitting way to quit on his shoulder, and all we can do is run and grab a map out of his hands and run like the wind to go in search of the promised treasure . Me and Alex are on the same team and Stella is in a team with her cousins and, well, the rest, I did not bother to look at being hasty and all. "Mia this way, I think I have the first clue",Alex whispers to me, so no one else hears him and he was right the first white marker was hanging in the tree house and now we just need to climb up to get it and get the next clue. The next clue was a bit harder and Will and his friend came past us, tripping Alex , making him fall and that made me mad seeing him being a spoiled, bratt and Alex just took it , so I helped him up so we could get to the game again. "Why do you let him hurt you Alex ?, next time I will teach him a lesson ok" ,I say and he smiles. "Thanx Mia ,but don't bother I'll get him back in my own way and besides he will run to my mom and then I'm dead meat". "I thought your mom did not stand for this stuff, taking sides", I ask and he smiles, "No she doesn't, but she loves him too so she always tells me we must sort each other out by ourselves in a nice way , and that is what I will do, don't worry, come lets head to the river, I have a feeling the next clue is there" , he says while we run to the river.

On the rock by the river we see some markings and we know it's not normally there, so we go closer just to see where an arrow is and it turns to the river .Before going straight into the river and before we dare go in the water, we look at each other wondering why in the water ?, but hey why not see. So I tell Alex that I will go underwater while he looks for the other players and as I go under I see some sort of box so I swim to it and, crab it to get to the surface. "Mia are you OK?", Alex shouts OK. of excitement as he sees me. "ya lets see what is inside the box", I say dripping from the water, So I open it and inside is a coin and a code word 'gold', so we take a bit of time wondering what it could mean. "Gold, maybe it means its in the water or on the other side or a cold place maybe", Alex whispers. "Ya lets go swimming to the other side and go look, gold is treasure and treasure must be hidden in a good place". So we did it and climbed to the other side. We climbed out all wet again and as we looked around, we saw a cave we had never seen before, so we went near and Alex shouted to me, telling me what we needed was by his side and under a rock near the entrance and,, it said we were close ,but. But I wanted to explore this cave we had never seen, seeing we have never come to this side of the river, so Alex agrees and we go in, only to be amazed by its wonder. So we go in until we are far in, but for some reason there are small holes in the wall letting some light in and as we enter further we come across this big altar , a stone-like thing and as we inspect it Alex must have touched something because it suddenly opens, revealing a big black book of leather and on the front cover a white and blue crystal/diamond sits shining bright . We take the book and hurry on out feeling happy because we found it ,the treasure the Luna hid for Alex's birthday party, with the theme Pirates. Man, this was so much fun.

"Come Mia, let's go show my mom we found it before the rest. Ha ,they must still be looking for it", Alex says to Mia as they make their way back to the adults waiting for the kids to return . Running in their wet clothes, they were so happy to have won, so as they came running, Mrs. Grey stops them and as her eyes land on the book she almost looks like she has seen a ghost and soon we are in the Alpha office with her and the Luna and also Mia's mom , wondering what the hell now?Because the three women seemed startled. "Alex hand me that book please" , Mrs. Grey says to her grandson ,so he gives it to her. "We,, didn't win ,did we, grandma ? We found the treasure!". He says smiling, but for some reason they do not. "My dear boy, you did indeed , this is the biggest treasure of our time. Where did you find it? Do tell us everything". She asks and, because we were so happy, we told them and as we do they simply look at us two like we did something bad and this got us worried nd wondering if this was the surprise we we to find or maybe somethin ells. "Mom did we do something wrong?", Mia asks her mom, the Beta female, and she shakes her head no and look to the Luna who looks at Mrs. Grey. "Come sit down , your party can wait a bit. First you did nothing wrong ,but there is one thing. This is not the party treasure you two were supposed to find ,this is an actual treasure you found , an artifact. You were on the right path. Faith showed you another way, no one knew about that cave and so you, my dears, have found the book of the white Luna, the Queen that once lived among us and this my dears was hers ,past to her by the moon goddess herself ". she explains. "So this is the book from the story you told us about grandma, the so called legend", " Yes Alex and because you found it , it means it was your Destiney to find it ". " So what do we do with it Mrs. Grey ?". "Now, Mia, we will take it to the elders and me being one, I will study it and maybe they can tell me what this means, so I must go pack for my trip because they must come to know about this soon.". " But why take it away?". Alex and Mia asked and she knelt down, looking at us, and asked for our hands in hers. "Because this book is very powerful and now it must be protected until its new owner presents him or herself, then only will it have a true owner almost like mates but in a more energy-like way". This was too much for the two, but they understood that wolf laws were bigger than them and so they took her word and soon the book was forgotten again when Stella and Will came running with the chest of treasure, which was lots of gold candy in the end that looked like gold coins, so they shared it and all went well and ended well.

After all the treasure was found and who knows why, only time will tell what that book and diamond holds within.
