Chained...

"Who is really chained? The one you chain on the wall or you that hate her and chain yourself to her in this way?"

Liam's pov

"Liam get up!" Phobos says worried.

"Mm... What the hell?" I murmur and raise my hand to touch Mira next to me but instead of her I touch only sheets.

"Get up i***t! Mate is not here!" he screams and I instantly jump up opening my eyes widely.

From what I can see the room is empty and the bathroom as well. Her scent is fainted which means that she is not in Ethan and Angel's room either. 

What the f**k? 

She never does it!

"Liam! Cassie is missing!" James says in hurry through the link.

"And Mira. Where did they go?"

"s**t! Liam we are in deep s**t! She left something on her pillow, a note. We are done!" he shouts panicked and I stand up in a second with Phobos howling like crazy.

"Liam... That psycho... This is a note for Mira!" he continues and I begin shaking looking around me like I am lost and then...

"There is a letter on Mira's pillow! Come here! And inform everyone NOW!" I roar and open the lights like a flash and then rush to take the letter in my hands.

Why I don't have a good feeling about it?

In fact, why do I have the worst feeling I had ever in my whole life?

I open the envelope with shaking hands and take off the paper. 

I open it and read:

' Liam I am sorry to write you this letter but I have to... Some time ago I found a note from that man and if I want to save the kids, you, the family and pack I have to go and find him.

I am sorry for not telling you but when it comes to everyone's safety I can't risk it. I have to go alone and do whatever it has to be done on my own this time. I know that this probably means my end but I will do anything in order to keep you all safe.

I want to thank you for the time we lived together, these days were the best of my life and you showed me what love means and looks like. I am grateful that Ethan and Angel will have you now that I won't be able to stand next to them. You are a great father and mate. I know that you are going to do fantastic with them, they love you very much!

I love you more than you can imagine and I want you to keep on living like I am with you because I promise that I am never going to leave you alone. Stay strong and love the kids for both of us.

"No!" I murmur shaking my head unable to believe it.

"Liam!" my father exclaims breaking into the room with James and Jacob behind him.

"They are gone... For good." I murmur and fall on my knees dizzy.

"What do you mean? What the...?" my father says taking the letter from my hands and reads it with Jacob while Ryan, Paul, Zoey and April get in the room in hurry.

"What is happening? Where is my baby?" Zoey almost screams but Paul signs for her to speak in a low tone for Ethan and Angel.

"s**t!" Jacob exclaims and looks at me with a terrified expression.

"We have to find them! Come on, they can't be that far." My father states and kneels in front of me capping my face in his hands.

"Son, we can do it! Come on, do not stop now! Get up and deal with it! We won't let Mira and Cassie alone now!" he says determinate and I nod automatically still lost.

"What is wrong? Where is Mira?" Colton and Lily ask in union rushing inside the room.

"They are gone. Mira left and from what I can understand Cassie found it out and followed her." James whispers with tears blurring his vision and hands them the note he had been holding.

I stand up with difficulty and look everyone around me. Jacob has turn pale and is shaking uncontrollably with a panicked expression, Ryan is already holding Zoey who is so pale that passing out is very possible, April is crying in silence, Paul's expression and eyes have darkened dangerously and Colton with Lily read the note breathless shocked. My father is obvious that is trying to control his anger from the other side and James is in the same condition with me.

"Let's go downstairs. April can you stay with the kids?" my father says shortly and we all nod instinctually.

I rush out of the room without realizing what I am doing with James and Jacob one step behind me and everyone else following close behind us. I am not feeling or thinking anything. I don't know if I am in pain or not. I am just lost. I don't know what is happening to me and Phobos is screaming and howling in pain and agony constantly making me feel even dizzier.

We are almost reaching the living room when Dom and Cilia join us in hurry and someone explains them shortly what is happening and the moment I get in the room David gets in from another door with his Beta following him.

"What happened? My Beta informed me that something serious happened!" he says worried and I nod.

"Mira and Cassie are missing! The bastard that almost killed her two times is behind everything." My father explains and David stumbles shocked.

"f**k! When did you find out?" he asks immediately.

"Some minutes ago..." James replies.

"Beta, tell everyone to look the security cameras now! I want every detail NOW!" David screams and his Beta nods quickly and gets out of the room like a flash.

"I am sending my men to look for any sign of them." Jacob states and Colton nods and leaves to do the same with his men.

"Father, would you please tell our men to do the same? I will join them soon!" I say turning to him.

"Of course! I am going. If you find anything useful from the cameras tell me." He says and leaves immediately.

"Are you okay? Who is missing? What did the Beta mean?"

I turn quickly to see the one person I didn't want to be here right now and my eyes turn black with Phobos roaring to give him full control.

"He has something to do with it! Let me kill him NOW!" he keeps on telling me and it doesn't need anything else to convince me...

"You son of a b***h!" I scream and attack him like a flash catching everyone surprised.

I jump on him and punch him with all my power making him fall on the floor with me landing above him and continue punching him with mania. He tries to block my hits but he is still dizzy and he can't stop me.

"Where is my mate and Cassie! Tell me!" I roar while my fists get covered with his blood and he screams in pain.

"Liam! Stop it! We have no proofs." David shouts and grabs me from behind pulling me back with James now kicking Cooper screaming.

"My instinct is the proof I need! He has something to do with it! Don't you see it?" I roar and try to punch him again but Ryan and Dom help David pull me and James back.

"Liam please stop it for now! You are making things worse!" Lily begs me and wraps her hands around me crying.

"If I find the proofs I want that you have something to do with it then I promise you that the hell I will send you will be nothing in front of to what I am going to do to you! DID YOU HEAR ME?" I scream and take one more step back while trying to breathe in order to calm down.

"You are behind it! I am sure but for now you will live! Liam is right! I do not trust you either!" Paul growls through his teeth and James groans still shaking from anger.

"Cooper you are not going anywhere before we find out what is happening and in fact..." David says thoughtfully narrowing his eyes and then pauses turning to look at me.

"Guards!" he shouts and in some seconds two men of his appear in front of us and bow in hurry.

"I want six men guarding Cooper all the time with a program. Two at time. Do not even let him get in his room alone! Am I clear?" he asks and they both nod.

"What? My King, I did nothing!" he screams and sits up touching his noise that is bleeding from my punches.

"I do not care. Until we find Mira and Cassie you will be accompanied from my men all the time. Take him back to his room now!" David orders and his men immediately grab him and drag him out of the room while he is screaming and shouting.

"Thank you David..." Zoey murmurs through her sobs and Ryan takes her to sit on a couch as she is ready to pass out.

"Are you okay Liam?" Lily whispers worried still hugging me and pulls back to look at me.

She is crying and she has a broken expression. I know she is in pain, she loves the girls very much, she was always trying to protect them back at the college. She was their biggest supporter and I know how heartbroken she was when Mira and Cassie run away to find Jacob. She is in the same state of mind with me and James.

"I will be okay once we find Mira and Cassie safe and sound." I reply and tighten my hold around her while Cilia and Dom hug James.

"We have to inform the packs. Nolan and Oliver have to know. And Cassie's family who went back to the pack..." Ryan murmurs thoughtfully and Paul nods.

"I will call uncle now..." Paul says and walks out of the room quickly with Cilia breaking her hug with James and looking at us sighing.

"I am going to call Oliver and my dad. The pack must be in alert from now on!" she states and David nods in agreement.

"Do not worry. If something had happened to them you would have felt it. They are still alive." Dom whispers giving us a weak, forced smile.

"For how long?"

~at the same time somewhere far away~

Third person's pov

He got in his room and saw her sleeping on their bed. 

She was his personal angel, the one that was standing always by his side and never left him down. From the first moment he had seen her he knew that she was going to be his biggest support. 

He was right! 

His mate was always there for him and even if she was a woman she was strong when he wasn't.

Generally she was sensitive and more kindhearted from him but it was in her nature to be like that. She was always the one that was helping everyone in need and she was everyone's biggest weakness like his...

He had met her at the special training that the King had organized secretly from everyone and only some specific persons had the luck to get. She was one of them like him and from the moment their eyes landed on each other they became one. They were blessed to be special and mates. They knew that they had an important duty and they had to act smartly in order to accomplish their mission.

Even if it was breaking their hearts they had to be patient and show no emotion. They had to act like they knew nothing and were aware of anything he was doing.

It was a torture...

He was his best friend, like a brother for him and she was his mates' biggest love. And then he... 

The man they loved so much, they were ready to die for and watching him in pain was killing them, had betrayed them but still they had to be strong in order to find out everything and save everyone.

"How am I going to tell her?" he asked his wolf worried.

"She will be broken, we hadn't imagined that but she has to know like always. We can't hide from her anything. We are together in this, remember? She is strong, she will deal with it like all the other times." His wolf replied trying to stay calm because he was also in pain from the news and angrier more than ever.

"What if we have been wrong and he kills one of them? Now that he has Cassie in his hands except from Mira he can kill her..." he asked again in desperation as the fear was getting bigger and bigger while he was thinking about it again and again.

"No! Do not think about it! He won't do it. He will use Cassie in order to take what he wants and even more. He knows that two are better than one even if Cassie was never in his plans."

"These girls love each other very much! And they will be in so much pain from him and..." he said pausing as his voice cracked and some tears came down from his eyes.

"They don't deserve it like everyone else but you know that only we can save them now. It is the end and we are close. Do not let your emotions soften you now. Think our lives after!"

He sighed and nodded timidly as he took some more steps and sat on the bed carefully. His mate opened her eyes immediately and sat up quickly the second she saw his broken expression. 

She knew what that meant...

"Did he get Mira? Is she alive?" she whispered in agony holding her breath.

"Yes but... Not only her..." he whispered and raised his eyes to meet hers.

"Cassie found out somehow and followed her... He got both of them with him." He continued and paused again nervously waiting for her reaction.

She opened her eyes and mouth widely in realization some seconds later and put her hands on her mouth to prevent herself from screaming while some tears were blurring her vision.

"My girls... They... They are going to have the same fate with her... Or he is going to kill Cassie like the other one... What are we going to do now? He needs Mira but Cassie?" she asked panicked and began crying and shaking.

He moved closer to her and wrapped his strong arms around her while more tears were running down from his eyes and kissed the top of her head in frustration. He was expecting that reaction from her but this time she was overreacting, she was right. Cassie was not important to him and even if his wolf had given him good reasons to believe that Cassie would be alive in the end he knew that it wasn't so certain.

"We have to be strong now more than ever. Cassie will be alright and we will save both Mira and her. Okay?" he whispered and she nodded on his chest sighing.

"Do they know?" she asked worried and lifted her head to look at him.

"I guess... Until now one of them will have realized that Mira or Cassie is missing... Surely he will have inform the other so..."

"They will be heartbroken... They will die in agony!"

"Like all of us..."

~some hours later somewhere far away that almost no one knew~

"Alpha..." his Beta said after he got inside his office and bowed.

"Tell me. Did you do what I told you? Did you take care of our trails?" he asked shortly and took one more ship from his whiskey.

"Yes Alpha. We did as you ordered. They are not going to find anything! Everything is gone for good." He replied calmly.

"Good, any news from my uncle?"

"Yes Alpha. Everything is going according to the plan! They realized that they were missing about one hour later and got crazy. They sent a large team to search for them but of course they found nothing."

He smirked pleased and closed his eyes lifting his head up proudly. 

Everything was perfect like he and his uncle had planned and soon the Adams were going to burn in hell, in his hell!

"What about Jacob? Hasn't he died until now from wary about his beloved daughter?" he whispered opening his eyes and drinking one more ship from his drink.

"He has gotten crazy. He is still trying to find her with his pack's warriors. Holder's pack is also helping with Colton's. Even the King is helping with a big number of men. They are searching everywhere in the forest!"

"Mmm... Are you sure that you did it well? If they find out anything I will kill you all!" he growled and left his glass on the desk in front of him with noise.

"Alpha, we burned the whole area and even more. The smoke and the smell of the burning are so strong that not even we were able to smell each other. There is no way of finding anything." His Beta replied with confidence and he nodded in approval.

"Good, the i***t?"

"As we had imagined Alpha! They accused him for everything and the King has put guards to be with him all the time."

He began laughing hysterically with joy. 

He knew it! 

Cooper was so i***t that would be an easy target for him and a perfect victim to blame. He had believed everything he had told him and now he was in deep troubles while his uncle was free to play his game and spy their every move.

"I still can't believe how someone can be so stupid! What did he think, huh? I know that he had to seem guilty and responsible for everything but this is... More than ridiculous!" he exclaimed through his laughter and his Beta joined him.

"You have to know that I don't enjoy it at all!" his wolf stated out of nowhere making him stop laughing immediately.

He growled annoyed and sighed for his Beta to get out. Once he stayed alone he slammed his fist on the desk creating a loud noise and took his glass throwing it away from his anger.

"i***t filthy dog! I am tired of you!" he screamed shaking uncontrollably but his wolf wasn't stepping back, just like him.

"I am telling you that something feels wrong! Something is not alright! The last days I have a weird feeling all the time!" he shouted in frustration.

"From when asshole? Huh?"

"Don't you talk to me like this stupid boy because without me you are nothing! Stop doubting me!"

"Tell me! Answer my question! From when do you have this feeling?" he asked again running out of patience.

"From the night we attacked her pack and saw her in the forest. Something feels weird."

He sighed confused and buried his hands in his hair. He couldn't understand what was wrong with his wolf. He was never acting like that. He was heartless and strong, he was feeling nothing.

"I felt bad some days ago when we trapped her again and our men almost killed her. I am telling you something is not okay." His wolf continued in agony.

"Don't tell me that you are falling in love with her wolf now!" he said through his teeth feeling his anger rising.

"No i***t! It is not that! I am not in love with anyone and you know that. But I can't describe my feelings about her either!" He replied confused.

"Maybe you have to ask your uncle again what happened... Maybe he is hiding something..." he added timidly.

"Shut up!" he roared out of nowhere suddenly and blocked him immediately.

He stood up and destroyed everything in front of him. He turned around his desk breaking his computer and shuttering everything above it, he threw his chair on the wall, he teared down his library and began screaming and cursing outraged.

He couldn't accept his wolf's suspicions about him.!His uncle was the only that loved him and was never going to betray him. He was the one that raised him like his own son and gave him everything. He was in pain for him, he wanted to give him only the best and he wasn't lying, he couldn't!

"Beta!" he shouted impatiently in a harsh tone and in seconds his Beta was standing next to him nervous.

"What are they doing?" he asked with a dark expression that made his Beta stiffen nervously as he took one step back lowering his head.

"What?" he screamed realizing that something had happened.

"They are both awake Alpha. Adams... She attacked one of our men and the guards decided to chain them both." He said trembling taking one more step back.

"How? Tell me how? Didn't you inject her with wolfsbane again? What did I tell you?" he shouted and walked to him growling.

"We did Alpha but she is too strong! We doubled the dose, her wolf is sleeping for sure but again she is unstoppable..."

"Idiots!" he murmured, put on his black mask again and got out of the office in hurry with his Beta following him.

"I want the slut in their cell now!" he ordered and his Beta nodded and left immediately to get her.

He continued walking down the stairs and headed to the dungeons where he was keeping them with lots of men guarding them according to his orders. Once he reached in front of their cell his men bowed in fear and he signed for them to open the door.

He got inside some seconds later after one of his men unlocked for him the cell's door and two loud growls echoed. 

The two women were chained on the big dirty wall at the back side of the cell some meters right in front of him. 

Mira was at the right side while Cassie was at the left with not so much distance between them. They were both wearing two grey dirty long robes and there was some blood on some places on both of them from their small woods. They had their heads bended and Mira was chained with a quite larger thick chain while Cassie had a thinner one. Their legs were free but they weren't touching the ground and their hands were widely open on their right and left touching the wall.

He smirked pleased and took some more steps to Cassie. He narrowed his eyes observing her body from tip to toe and stopped some inches away from her.

"Lift your head up!" he said harshly.

Instead of lifting her head up as he had told her Cassie growled loudly one more time without moving and he immediately grabbed her from the neck forcing her to look at him. She had a blank expression, she was probably a bit dizzy but still had her senses and could think quite clearly. Her eyes were dark and she was quite pretty but he didn't get impressed. He didn't care anyway about her.

"How do you feel that you followed your Alpha to die in my cells in the end? You could have been free now, you could have been able to spend your whole life with your mate... What did you understand now?" he asked her confused waiting from her an answer that never came.

Soon he began shaking outraged and tightened his hold around her neck making her cough and some seconds later she began gasping for air. He was demanding an answer that she was denying to give him and that was driving him crazy. A Beta was disobeying him and that was unacceptable for him, especially from Cassie who was in his mercy.

"Stay away from my sister NOW!" Mira then roared and lifted her head up trying to move making the chains tighten even more around her waist and hands.

He took one step back and left Cassie who managed to take a deep breath relieved and he smirked walking slowly like a predator to Mira with his eyes never leaving hers. He stopped right in front of her and looked deeply into her darker than the usual green eyes and she growled warningly.

"I meet you finally in person Adams..." he whispered like a snake and smirked devilishly.

"You are lucky I am chained on a wall coward." She replied and her eyes turned even darker shining from hatred.

"Really? I am sure that you are not that lucky anymore. You can't do a thing now." He murmured and raised his hand to caress her cheek for a reason he couldn't express but some inches before he touch her...

She raised one of her legs that were free and kicked him on the stomach with so much power that he screamed in pain and took some steps back, fell on his knees from the intense pain and curled like a ball with his hands wrapped around his stomach.

"Mark my words because believe me I totally mean them! The moment I lay my hands on you, you are dead and the hell will be ready to welcome you! If you believe that some chains are able to hold me back and prevent me from getting free and not killing you then you are a fool! Did you hear me asshole?" she roared and moved again with the chains being stretched even more.

"Guards!" he screamed and four men got inside the cell like a flash panicked.

"Chain her legs as well! I don't want her moving even an inch!" he shouted couching and managed to stand up with one of his men's help.

"I will soon get done with you! I promise you Adams, I haven't said my last word!" he growled and turned to get out but his Beta got in with the woman he had asked before preventing him from doing it.

"Alpha! I got her!" he whispered worried looking around him knowing that something had happened.

"Good!" he replied grabbing the woman from her arm and dragging her in the middle of the cell violently while she was struggling weakly in desperation to get free from his hold.

"From now on I brought you some company! See? They will soon join you in hell!" he whispered near her ear and pushed her on the wall between Mira and Cassie.

She screamed in pain and fell immediately on the cold floor gasping for air unable to get up while the Alpha and his Beta got out of the room leaving the guards to chain Mira better as they have been ordered.

"Feed them a bit every day. She is going to feed Adams and her Beta. Be careful with Adams and inject them every day with wolfsbane because Adams is too dangerous and her Beta is stronger than I had thought." He ordered shortly and his Beta nodded and bowed.

He turned to leave the dungeons and his Beta sighed relieved after he got sure that they were alone and he was certainly gone.

"Beta... Do you have a bad feeling or is it only me?" one of the men whispered walking closer to him awkwardly.

"Yeah... And I don't know for whom  the end is going to be tragic..."
