Liam's pov

I can't move my feet and I am happier than ever. 

You may think I am crazy but I am not! 

These were the best three days of my life. I was with Mira almost constantly and we were having s*x about every two hours and sometimes in less than that and okay, I know I am talking like a real asshole but I had missed her very much and I feel great now!

She had me locked in my room as she didn't want to move the kids out of hers and she couldn't keep her hands off me. Okay... To tell the truth I couldn't stop touching her either before her heat so think what I was doing while she was in heat.

I left her alone for some minutes only three or four times during these days and all these times she called me to return back to the room because she wanted s*x and she had gotten crazy. I couldn't say no, I didn't want to and her anger wasn't helping me deny. I got late a bit the first time and it was enough to not repeat it again as when I went back to the room she was crying and screaming and the next moment she pushed me on the bed, came on top of me and after she slapped me some times we had s*x for about two hours nonstop. And I have to be honest, I liked my punishment but I couldn't see her crying like this again and she also warned me that if I got late again she would come to find me and I got mad because I didn't want any other male next to her while she was in heat. Sorry, my mistake, I don't want any other male next to her generally but during her heat I wouldn't have been able to control my anger if anyone had even laid his eyes on her.

I turn and look at her while she is sleeping. 

She looks like an angel, an angel with great abilities on scratching, biting and making me horny. Last night her heat ended and from today we will be able to get out of the room and get some rest. I can't think myself sleeping without her again, she is necessary for me and Phobos.

I tighten my hold around her and she sighs opening her eyes slowly. We are naked again and our scents are mixed. 

She takes a deep breath and smiles while caressing me chest (this makes me melt by the way).

"Good morning baby." She whispers huskily and places a long kiss on my bare skin.

"Good morning beautiful. How do you feel?" I ask as I pull her on top of me and she giggles burying her face in my neck.

"I feel great. How about you? Are you ready to leave the bed?"

I laugh moving my hands to her hips rubbing them and she moans and bites my earlobe while burying her fingers in my hair.

"I don't think I am... We can stay here for an eternity if you want..." I whisper and squeeze her butt.

"If you want I can give you my heat because believe me I thought I was getting crazy all these days and I don't know if I have enough energy to even walk." She says teasingly and chuckles.

"You have enough time to gain back your lost energy until your next heat..." I whisper wickedly.

"Liam!" she yells and punches me playfully.

"What? From now on we will be in the bed's heaven for three days very often, it's not a big deal..." I say 'innocently'.

"Yeah, yeah Liam... It's too easy for you."

"What? Hey, usually I am making the whole work..." I yell annoyed.

"Are you complaining? Every time I am making it up for you with other ways..." she groans, moves her hand to my manhood and starts rubbing him.

"Mira..." I moan and grab her hand to stop her.

"What?" she asks annoyed.

"I need to ask you..." I murmur nervously and she frowns and stares at me worried. 

I was thinking about talking to her about it and I think it is time. I never stop thinking about our future after we leave the palace and we have to discuss about what we are going to do... I am afraid of her reaction and I need to know if she will follow me to our pack with Ethan and Angel.

"So?" she asks impatiently.

"Um... I was wondering... What are we going to do after we leave from here?" I ask trembling.

She blinks her eyes surprised and stares at me thoughtfully for a while. I am so panicked about her answer, I feel I am sweating second by second and Phobos is shaking his tail nervously.

"Um... We are going to continue our lives to our packs but we will spend time with each other and the kids. We will visit each other often and we can sleep in each other's house some nights every week." She replies easily.

And Liam explodes!

I sit up surprised and stare at her with open mouth trying to convince myself that my ears are mistaken. 

Is she for real?

"You are kidding, right?" I ask getting angry.

"No, I am not laughing Liam. I mean my every word."

"Then I mean nothing to you. Everything we lived all these days mean nothing, our kids mean nothing." I say through my teeth and boom.

She slaps me with so much power that I feel my cheek burning and my head spinning. She gets up and begins getting dressed in hurry while I jump up and grab her arm shaking uncontrollably.

This is so...

Damn!

"You are the biggest asshole I know Liam! I never said any of these, I hate you!" She screams and slaps me again with her free hand.

"You don't want to live with me, it's the same thing." I roar and grab her other arm pinning her on the wall.

"Are you willing to leave your pack and come to stay with me?" she asks shouting.

"You will come with me in my pack. Our pack."

"That's the problem, I can't leave my pack and I don't want to, I am their Alpha." She replies and pushes me away.

"Have you lost your mind? You are my Luna, you won't have time to be an Alpha. Oliver can take your place."

"I don't think you understood! I am not your Luna because you haven't marked me and I am not going to disappoint my pack because of your arrogance." she screams widly.

"Arrogance? You are a woman, your place is next to me and our kids." I yell taking one step to her.

"Our kids and I were fine all these years without you and now you come suddenly out of nowhere and ask me to stop being me and change myself because you want to have full control over me and my life. But guess what! I won't ruin my life and pack because of you!"

This can't be happening, no, she didn't say it!

"Ruin? I thought I was making you happy." I shout back furious.

"You do but you don't respect me! You don't even try to understand and help me. You are just thinking about yourself!" She screams and some tears falling from her eyes.

I soften a bit and try to think about what she said. 

Phobos is whispering to stop being so stubborn, calm down and try to find a solution with her. I take some deep breaths and sit on the bed staring at her. She is crying now, her jaw is clenching, she is breathing with difficulty and wipes her tears with shaking hands.

"You can still be their Alpha but you will stay with me and Cassie can supervise them in your place." I say relieved after some seconds.

"You are an i***t, selfish asshole Liam!" She whispers and storms out of the room like a flash banging the door behind her and leaving me no time to go after her.

What did I do now? 

I tried to find a solution, she can still be her pack's Alpha and she will stay with me and our kids at my pack. 

What is her problem now?

"You are an i***t, she is right! She thinks you are trying to lower her." Phobos says frustrated.

"And you?"

"What did you think of her Liam? She can't just leave her pack and become a happy Luna. She has a different way of life."

"Get lost." I roar and block him.

I start walking up and down the room growling and hitting my fists on the walls in order not to break into pieces everything there is around me and stay like this for some minutes when James breaks into my room panicked.

"What the hell did you do to Mira?" he asks me worried immediately.

"I did nothing! She doesn't want to come and live with me. She doesn't want to leave her pack and her title as Alpha."

"You f****d up everything!" Ryan shouts while getting in my room shaking outraged.

And then I lose it for good!

I am still naked, damn it! 

I walk to the bed and wrap one sheet around me awkward. I am still angry and James and Ryan's attitude doesn't help me at all! 

Ryan bangs the door and locks it before he turns and walks quickly to me. He grabs me from the neck and kicks me on my stomach with his knee. I let out a loud growl and James separates us in time before we start fighting.

"Enough both of you. Calm down and discuss about it. We don't have much time anyway..." he says firmly.

"What do you mean?" I ask frustrated.

"Mira left for a run alone after she teared down her whole room, she has blocked everyone and masked her scent, we can't find her."

"s**t! This woman of mine is insane!" I scream shaking.

"Sit down now!" Ryan roars.

James pulls me to the bed and I sit on it unwillingly. Ryan comes and sits next to me and James stands in front of us with a concerned expression. I sigh frustrated and bury my face in my hands. 

How are we supposed to find her now damn it?

"We know what happened." Ryan begins with a cold tone.

"And you are an i***t! Really Liam? Will you have Cassie away from me?" James shouts annoyed.

"Are you a jerk? If she had to stay there I would have allowed you to stay with her." I reply angrily.

"Ah, you are not that i***t then, sorry. You are still an i***t although..."

"Can you tell me if you have a brain or an apple in your head?" Ryan asks punching my arm with power.

"Hey stop it!" I shout ready to punch him back.

"Was it so difficult for you to show some patience and let her come to you alone after some time? You don't know her at all..."

"What do you mean? She doesn't want me."

"She just needs some time Liam. She could come and stay with you if you were patient. But now..." Ryan pauses and sighs.

"Now what?" I ask jumping up with shaking legs.

"Pray. Pray to find her safe and sound. Pray to allow you explain yourself and show some understanding... Pray to accept you again." He says annoyed.

"And pray you stay alive... Jacob, Zoey and Paul want to kill you..." James adds worried.

"I just want her with me..." I say with complaint.

"Then try to control your temper when we find her..." Ryan says, stands up and gets out of my room quickly.

"Come on man, it is going to be alright. I know you want her very much but you have to respect her. Try to be smarter than this." James tells me and taps my back.

"We have to find her..." I say desperate.

"Let her stay alone for a while. She will come back for Ethan and Angel sooner or later." he replies with a sympathetic smile and I shake my head in confusion.

I hope she will be back soon...

Mira's pov

"I can't believe him! The jerk!" I scream running in the forest.

"Can you calm down now? I am getting more pissed off!" Moira growls annoyed.

"Don't you tell me what to do!" I scream and she stops after a short growl.

I stop running after some more time on the edges of a small lake and lay down on the ground admiring the view. 

I can't believe he doesn't want to respect me! He treated me like I am nothing, like I am weak. Just like five years go...

I close my eyes and when I open them some tears are blurring my vision, I sigh and lift my head up staring the sky, some clouds begin to gather and the sun is almost hidden even if it is not that early in the morning. 

Mmm...

It is going to rain and the wind is quite cold.

"The weather is like your mood..." Moira whispers sadly and I groan annoyed.

"Because of your mate..." I reply shortly.

"I think you are both overreacting. If you were calmer nothing would have happened..."

"If he wasn't such a d**k I would have been calm and we would have talked." I say through my teeth.

"He is just afraid of losing us again. He has a point Mira, he wants us with him... Come on girl, forgive the poor man!"

"Moira, I won't act like a happy wife locked in a pack house cooking and serving everyone. We are fighters." I yell frustrated making her rolls her eyes in the idea.

"I know! And he knows it as well! He just needs time and he will soften. You never explained to him a thing."

"I am afraid... My love for him is changing me, what if I accept whatever he says?"

"I won't let you cook, okay?" she says laughing and I chuckle.

"I love you very much! What would I do without you?"

"Don't wonder about it because I will never leave you alone."

"Promise?"

"Promise! I love you too!" she says softly and I purr.

I stay like this for some more time until I feel some drops falling on me and look up the sky again. 

It is worse than I had thought... The sky is almost black and the wind is stronger. It won't be a simple rain, it will be a storm. 

My thick, soft, black fur is moving lightly from the wind and I take a deep breath smelling the rain and the fresh wet ground.

It's an amazing scent!

"Mira we should leave. I have a bad feeling..." Moira whispers nervously and I nod not wanting to frustrate her after the last incidents.

"Okay my lady. We are leaving."

I get up and start running back to the palace but I am not in hurry. I don't run that fast, I enjoy this smell and this weather is refreshing, it helps me calm down more. I am too far from the palace out of the King's territory but I don't mind.

The wind gets stronger gradually and the forest is too silent so I stop running and take some steps looking around me confused. 

Too silent, the weather is not explaining it!

I walk a bit around and after some time I decide to leave as nothing seems suspicious. I am ready to begin running again when I catch a strong scent and open my eyes widely in realization.

Rogues!

Third person's pov

Mira was alone, alone at their mercy. 

Twenty rogues circled her quickly and he was some meters away observing the show...

He thought he could kill her easily, she was alone and frustrated and h e smirked when his men began attacking her with mania. 

The first one that jumped on her from her front was knocked out immediately from her. He felt on the ground dizzy and Mira turned on her right when another one tried to bite her neck. She lifted up on her back legs and hit him on his jaw with so much power that he lost his consciousness bleeding uncontrollably. Another wolf jumped next on her back and bite her left shoulder before she could manage to block him. She tried to get him off of her but another one attacked her but she grabbed him in time and ripped his throat out and then she managed to turn enough to bite the wolf on her back and hit him on the ground.

His eyes were burning from anger and that point and his body was shaking. 

They were all useless and she could manage to escape from him again and when her eyes met his she left out a loud, deep, dangerous howl challenging him to fight her but he had other plans.

"Kill her!" he roared and his men jumped all together on her trying to bite her neck and take her down.

And next came the chaos... 

They were all biting her, hitting her, scratching her and she was defending herself and attacking them in every way she knew and could. She had bites, scratches and deep wounds all over her body and one of them tried to bite her head but she found the strength to lift again up on her back feet and drag her sharp nails in his throat killing him in seconds.

Both Mira and Moira were out of control, they were angrier than ever, they weren't feeling any pain, just anger. They were blocking and killing the one after the other even if the rogues where holding her from everywhere they could.

The fight lasted for some time...

They didn't need more, they were strong and trained better than anyone. 

When everything was over Mira stood opposite of him in the middle of the dead bodies of his men full of wounds all over her body. Blood was covering her fur from top to toe and her breaths were fast, short and sharp. 

She growled loudly again and challenged him to fight but he took one step back growling lowly staring at her with hatred. 

He wanted her dead, he hated her with all his heart and he couldn't believe she had done it again but the only difference was that this time she was completely alone exposed to him and his men and she had done it again. He couldn't understand how she was able to stay on her feet after such a fight against twenty well trained men and with so many wounds and loss of blood.

Mira took some steps to him and howled again with her eyes never leaving his. She wanted that game to end even if she would end up dead. She was afraid of nothing and nobody, she was proud and she was ready to die fighting. She had already enough of him and this was the last. 

She walked a bit more ready to attack him but he turned and run away from her like a flash and she began running behind him in order to catch him without showing any interest in her wounds.

The raindrops were too dense, the wind too strong and it was quite dark the more she was getting inside the forest. She was chasing him for more than half an hour when she got sure she had lost him and stopped in the middle of a small glade howling outraged. 

He could be anywhere and she knew it but she wasn't afraid and stood there for some minutes waiting for him to appear but he never came out.

"Mira he won't come. He is a coward!" Moira groaned.

"I want to kill him!" she screamed.

"We have to go back. I am not able to heal us. We have lost lots of energy and blood."

"I am not leaving Moira!" Mira roared outraged with her eyes looking all around her.

"Do you want to leave Ethan and Angel without their mother?" Moira shouted knowing that this was the only thing that could change Mira's mind.

"Fine damn it! You won... This time..."

~Later, night, palace~

"Where is she? Why hasn't she come back?" Colton asked walking up and down the living room.

"We can't wait any longer. We have to go and find her, some more time staying in here and I will die." Paul said standing up.

"Where are Angel and Ethan?" Ryan asked shortly.

"They are sleeping up in their room with Cilia. I told them that Mira had some pack things to do and left early in the morning." Liam murmured with his face buried in his hands.

"Fortunately..." April whispered wiping some tears from her eyes.

"We are leaving. I can't wait for more." Liam shouted and got up from the couch he had been sitting nervously.

"Good. We will go in teams. The more we are the better." Jacob suggested.

They all nodded and got out of the palace as quickly as possible. 

Liam had lost his color, he was pale and he was standing on his feet with difficulty. He just wanted to find her and ask for her forgiveness. Jacob, Ryan, Zoey and April were scared about Mira, they knew her very well and her absence all day was anything else except from normal as she couldn't stay away from Ethan and Angel for too long. Paul, Cassie, James, Dom, Lily, Colton and Hobs were trying to stay calm and patient for Liam and Mira's parents because they knew that their condition was worse than theirs. Cooper was nowhere to be found and David was trying to assure them that Mira was alright and she would come back soon. Cilia was worried but she had to seem calm for Ethan and Angel for the whole day because they didn't want to scare them.

They all reached outside the forest and they were ready to divide into groups when they caught blood's scent and heard a deep howl from somewhere near and Phobos started screaming in Liam's mind who almost passed out in realization.

"Mira!" he screamed and began running following the scent in his human form with everyone else behind him.

His heart stopped beating, he lost his breath, he didn't know how he was running, he thought he was dying. 

What if she was...? 

No, she couldn't leave him now, she couldn't leave him and their kinds, they needed her! 

He was running for some seconds before he could distinguish her kneeled and naked in her human form under a tree trying to get up. 

He screamed her name one more time and his voice echoed in the chaotic forest in the darkness of the night.

She lifted up her head and stared at him for some seconds lost before she realized what was happening. She managed to smile a bit with difficulty and some tears fell from her eyes, her whole body was shaking, she was feeling so weak and cold...

Everything felt like a dream...

"Liam..." she whispered almost from inside herself and took a deep breath.

He reached her some seconds later, kneeled and pulled her in his arms shaking in fear and agony. 

He gasped from her condition, he wanted to take her place, to suffer in order to take her pain away. 

She was bleeding from deep, extended wounds all over her body, she had scratches, bites, bruises and cuts everywhere, she was soaked until the bone and cold, dirt and mud were mixed with her blood and she was white like a sheet shaking uncontrollably and clenching her jaw. 

Liam couldn't feel her heartbeat or her pulse, her breaths were weak and slow. She couldn't move or speak anymore, she was on the edge of passing out.

Everyone gathered around them in panic, they were all screaming, crying, shouting, and sobbing.

"Call Axel now!" Jacob screamed to Hobs kneeling next to Liam.

"I will call mine too." David shouted and left quickly with Hobs back to find his personal doctor and call Axel to rush to the palace.

"Baby?" Zoey cried shaking and Ryan managed to wrap his arms around her in time before she falls on her knees.

"Mira talk to us." Cassie begged getting closer to her and Liam with James holding her hand.

"Who did this to you?" Paul and Colton asked in union frustrated.

"Enough!" Liam roared waking up from his nightmare and realizing he had to help her quickly.

He got up with Mira in his arms and began walking as quickly as he could back to the palace carrying her in the gentlier way. 

They were all following him helping in every way they could and once they reached to the palace they all headed to him room. James opened his room's door and pulled up the bed's covers helping him place her on the soft sheets and Liam covered her with shaking hands again, took her hand in his and began crying loudly.

They were all standing around the bed sobbing and holding each other without knowing what to do. Soon the covers turned red from Mira's blood and Liam screamed shaking and sobbing in desperation. James walked to his side to help him calm down but Liam pushed him away before he could touch him.

"Baby don't leave me." He trembled through his sods and kissed her bleeding hand.

Mira seemed to listen to him even if she was on the edge of losing her senses. She opened her eyes only an inch and her eyes moved to Liam with difficulty. She tried to squeeze his hand even a bit but she didn't manage it, then she tried to move her head but once more nothing happened. 

She sighed gaining every energy trace she had left and tried to talk.

"Liam..." she whispered so lowly that only he could listen to her and he kissed her hand one more time.

She passed out the next minute leaving everyone screaming around her for a doctor and a crazy Liam who was mourning like she was already gone. 

David's doctor came in the room the next second with David and a team of people behind him with different types of medical equipment and first aids. He asked them to get out and forced Liam to follow them with difficulty as he was uncompromising of leaving Mira alone.

Mira was locked in the room with the doctor and his team for almost one hour when Axel came in hurry and asked them what had happened. 

They just told him about her condition when they found her and he got in the room to help David's doctor. They all stood outside the room waiting for someone to inform them that she was out of danger but for hours no one came. 

Liam was curled like a ball on the floor next to the door shaking and crying desperately for hours and nobody could help him calm down even a bit.

He would die without her...

~about two days later~

Liam's pov

Two days have passed. 

Two days since the moment I lost the ground under my feet, I stopped feeling, I stopped breathing, I stopped living! 

The two worst days of my life. I have lost my smile, my energy, the light in my life, I just want to stop living, I need this nightmare to stop!

Mira is still unconscious, out of danger but she hasn't woken up yet...

The doctors after lots of hours locked in the room with her came out and informed us that her heart had stopped beating two times but she quickly reacted when they gave her first aids and managed to make it. She had lost too much blood and her condition was crucial but they gave her a big amount of blood and her condition got stable. She began healing after some hours and now she is completely healed but she hasn't shown any sign of communication with the environment.

These days I bearably leave her side only to spend some time with Ethan and Angel who have no idea about Mira. I told them that she had some problems back to the pack and she wouldn't come for some days and fortunately they believed me. I don't know how I am being so strong in front of them and act like everything is perfect when I am dying inside. I am grateful that everyone else is taking care of them and let me stay with Mira all the time because honestly I can't stay away from her.

I am crying all the time while holding her hand asking her to wake up and come back to me as soon as possible because I can't bear it anymore. Watching her like this is killing me, I can't help her and I feel guilty. 

It is my fault she left like this and got hurt. The one second we were perfect and then I opened my big dirty mouth and this costed me almost her life. I just want her to wake up and tell her how sorry I am and how much I love her and that I will do whatever she wants in order to have her in my life. I will beg for her forgiveness, I will make her every wish come true.

Colton tried to find who hurt her but until now he wasn't lucky. We are all determinate to find him and then I will kill him with my own hands, I just need to know who he is. 

The f*****g bastard has signed his death's contract!

Oh God...

I look outside the window and see the full moon. I close my eyes and kiss Mira's hand once more ready to start crying again.

"Come back to me my love. I can't live without you."

~next morning~

Mira's pov

"Mira?" Moira whispers softly.

What is wrong now? 

Why everything is black and I feel nothing?

"Don't you remember?" she asks confused.

I think about it for a while and groan surprised as I remember everything that happened yesterday. 

Or it was the day before? 

Or... 

I don't know when everything happened! All I remember is that I was in the forest and I was going back to the palace when I saw HIM and twenty wolves circled and attacked me but I won, I chased him, I lost him and then nothing, everything stops there...

"Mate found us."

"Liam?" I ask overwhelmed.

"Yes! He was coming to find us with the others but we were almost at the palace."

"How do you know? Why can't I remember any of these?"

"You had almost lost your senses. You were too confused, you need time to remember those hours." She explains frustrated.

"Moira?"

"Yes?"

"Are you alright?" I ask worried.

"I am fine and so you do! Mate is worried about us Mira, wake up and go to him! He needs you!" She says in a painful tone and I stiffen nervously.

"How is he?" I whisper ready to cry.

"Wake up and see for yourself..." she tells me smirking and moves a bit back smiling.

I take a deep breath and try to gain my powers. I just want to get out of here! 

I need my kids and... Liam. 

I was mad at him but I love him very much. 

I push myself to my limits, I need to break the barriers that are holding me in the darkness and for this I concentrate more, I can make it!

Gradually the darkness disappears and I open my eyes slowly with a ceiling to be the first thing I see. I blink my eyes some times as the light is blinding me and after I get used to it I turn my head on my right to see Liam sleeping on a chair with his head resting on my bed and my right hand is his hands. 

I smile relieved and take a deep breath staring at his face hurt.

He looks tired, his face is tensed, his hair a mess and his black shirt crumpled. 

I move my left hand slowly to caress his hair gently and he moves a bit groaning and I try not to giggle while caressing his hair with slow moves.

"Liam?" I whisper impatiently.

He moves groaning again but this time more than before and he tightens his hold around my hand. I give a small squeeze to his hands and bury my left hand in his hair.

"Liam?" I say again a bit louder.

And...

He jumps up the next second staring at me panicked and some seconds pass before he realizes I am awake and breaks into sobbing.

"Mira!" he shouts and falls on me wrapping his arms around my body.

He starts kissing me everywhere and I giggle unable to move from his hold, I just stay there without moving enjoying his embrace, kisses and his body's warmth on mine.

"I almost lost you! Thank you so much for not leaving me alone! Baby you almost killed me!" he says through his kisses and caps my face in his hands.

He stays some inches away from my face looking at me in the eyes while he is crying and caressing my cheeks and I move my hand to caress his cheek ready to cry from relief.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to!" I whisper with guilt.

"Shh... Now you are safe and we are together!" he says and kisses my forehead.

"The kids?"

"They are fine, I told them you had to stay at your pack for some days. They are taking care of them, I put them to sleep last night with April." he replies in hurry.

I pull him closer to me and he buries his face in my neck as I wrap my hands around him and close my eyes shaking from happiness. He takes my scent with deep long breaths and moves his hand to my shoulder rubbing him.

"I love you so much! I am so sorry, I am an i***t! We will do whatever you want just don't leave me again. I will die without you!" He says and lifts up his head.

"I won't leave you again." I say determinated  and he exhales relieved.

"Promise?"

"Promise. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and our kids."

The moment I finish my sentence he crashes his lips on mine and kisses me hungrily without letting me breathe. I moan and kiss him back with every cell of my body asking for him, Moira purrs in my head like a little puppy and shakes her tail happily. I let him kiss me for some more time with our tongues dancing and exploring each other's mouth before he pulls back and smiles pecking my lips.

"I have already informed James. They are coming." He says and the door opens widely without knock and my parents, brother and friends gets in the room like crazy.

"I don't believe it man, keep your hands in your pockets!" Dom yells surprised.

SHIT!

They are all having a shocked expression on their faces, Jacob is ready to kill Liam, Lily, James and Cassie are rolling their eyes, Paul has the funniest expression there is, my mother and April are smiling meaningfully and Ryan is giggling with Colton and Axel crucifying their arms on their chests. 

I turn my gaze to Liam and me and blush embarrassed, this is awkward...

"You are perfectly fine Alpha... You are in a great mood as I can see..." Axel says smirking wickedly.

"i***t!" I shout and Liam takes a pillow from next to me and throws it to him.

"What are you doing to my daughter? She has just woken up and you..." my father yells furious and April taps his chest giggling.

"It was my fault..." I whisper and Liam blinks his eyes from my lie.

"Um... Sis, I don't want to ruin your moment with my future brother in law as he seems to be but... We need to know what happened." Paul says changing the subject and Liam leaves from above me and sits on my side.

"I think he is right baby, you can't keep on being silent. We need to know..."Liam tells me softly with an encouraging look.

NO!

"Um..." I say and pause nervously as I don't want to tell them, I already know their reaction...

Anyway, I have to, right?

They all take some steps to the bed and I sign for them to sit. Some sit on the bed opposite of me, some take some chairs and sit next to the bed and Colton with Axel move the small couch close to the bed and sit down waiting for me to speak. 

I take a deep breath, take Liam's hand in mine and he gives me a gentle squeeze wrapping his free hand around me.

Alright, this is it!

"The person that is responsible is the same with the one behind the attack we had some days ago but this wasn't the first time I saw him. I met him the night after the attack in the forest." I say and see everyone's shocked expressions.

"Excuse me?" Jacob exclaims breathless.

"I know I didn't tell you about this dad but I had my reason..."

"Mira!" my mother yells furious.

"Mom! I was trying to figure out the whole thing. I didn't want to worry you." I say trying to excuse myself.

"Honey let her explain." Ryan tells her smiling.

"Ryan, she kept from us a secret like this and look what happened. We almost lost her!" She yells shaking.

"I know everything as well..." he confesses and they all gasp.

"Ryan I will kill you for keeping this secret from me!" she screams.

"I am sorry, it is my fault! I made him promise me mom." I say and my dad sighs frustrated.

"Mira continue or else I will kill someone. Who is this bastard?" Liam growls.

"That night I didn't feel his presence, I thought I was alone and he appeared out of nowhere. We fought and when the other rogues appeared he left. I was trying to figure out why I didn't feel his presence that night, I felt no danger." I explain and Liam, Paul and my father let out a deep growl in union.

Just perfect!

"What happened three days ago when you left?" Cassie asks me impatient.

"I... I was about to come back after my run when I was circled by twenty wolves and I saw him staring at me from some distance."

"The hell!" Liam roars and starts shaking.

My father's face turns red just like Liam, Paul, Colton and Dom's. My mother and April are ready to cry and Cassie with James, Lily and Alex are looking at me speechless.

I knew it...

"I fought with them, I killed them all and I challenged him but he ran away and I began chasing him."

"Mira!" my father roars furious ready to lose his temper for good.

"Mira why did you have to chase him in that condition?" Liam shouts panicked.

"I am sorry, okay? I just wanted to put an end. He is a threat and I wanted to kill him. I lost him after some time and then Moira convinced me to come back because we were both too weak and he couldn't heal us. That's all I can remember." I say and lower my gaze squeezing Liam's hand nervously. 

He tightens his hold around me and kisses the top of my head sighing in relief and I thank the God for his reaction, at least for now. He didn't kill anyone!

"I can't believe it." Lilly whispers.

"This is worse than we had thought..." Ryan says disappointed.

"He was spying on you." James states worried.

"How?" Paul asks anxious.

"No idea..." Colton replies troubled.

"Axel?" my dad asks with hope.

"It is not normal, he could have taken drugs to hide his scent but again this cannot explain the fact that Moira couldn't feel his presence." He explains confused.

"f**k!" Liam whispers and pulls me on his body with both of his hands.

"He is a coward." I say through my teeth feeling my temper raising.

"A coward that can kill you by ordering a whole army to fight you! What is next? Forty wolves maybe?" my mom yells outraged.

"Mom!" I complain but she raises her hand to stop me.

"Do you realize what has happened? Do you realize you could have been killed?" she screams.

"Zoey..." Ryan says gently but she stops him too.

"No! Shut up Ryan! I am done from all of you keeping secrets. She is my daughter and I am the last to know everything related to her. First that Liam was her mate, then that she was with Jacob all these years, then that she was a mother and now that an insane werewolf whose existence is like a ghost's is trying to kill her in every way. No one will hide anything from me from now on or else I will kill you all! Am I clear?" she roars in the end and gets up shaking more like any other time before.

We can do nothing than nod and stare at her speechless from her condition. 

I have never seen her like this again and to tell you the truth she is scary and even my fathers seem to be afraid of her so I turn and look at Liam for support but he shakes his head negatively.

"I am not sorry for this baby. I couldn't agree more with your mother on this. She is completely right." He says smiling to her.

"At least one logical person!" she exclaims relieved and I open my eyes widely from surprise.

HUH?

"Okay... Looks like you two found the support you wanted..." Paul says ironically and my mother gives him an angry warning look.

"Okay everyone. I think is time to let the Alpha eat and get some rest." Axel states meaningfully and they nod in agreement.

They all get up, wait for their turn to kiss me and then leave the room leaving me alone with Liam. 

The second the door closes I give him an innocent smile and he raises his eyebrows frustrated and annoyed.

"I said I am sorry..." I whisper with puppy eyes and he rolls his eyes in desperation.

"Okay my lady. We will talk again about it later. Now you will eat and sleep."

"Liam, I am clean.... I remember I was covered with blood, mud and dirt." I say confused after I give a quick look at myself.

Yeah...

I am clean, I have no wounds, I am wearing a simple black nightdress and my hair as I can understand is brushed, washed and soft.

"After you were healed completely yesterday morning I took you at the bathroom to wash you and everyone cleaned the whole room, the bed and opened the windows to refresh the air. I washed your body and hair, I brushed it, I dried it, I dressed you up and put you again to bed." He explains and I cap his face smiling.

And my heart officiallt melts!

Who could have thought that Liam could be so caring and sweet?!

"You are adorable my love!" I whisper and place a long kiss on his lips.

"I love you!"

"I love you too!"

Alright everyone, hello! 

This is the 13th chapter and it turned to be lucky in the end because Mira is back and strong again!

This chapter is quite larger than the usual as I told you in the previous and I hope I made it up for not updating it for some days, right?

So what do you think of this chapter? What do you think about that man that tries to kill Mira? Where is Cooper? Was Mira right? What about Liam's behavior?
