I was on my bed looking at Tricia who sat on my laps unbuttoning my short slowly.
I was upset with everything that was happening around me. I gave Nate a direct order and for the first time, he disobeyed me. Not only did he not stop Caroline from going out with my daughter, but he was also exposing them to danger so easily.
Cleo was sharp and very observant but that didn't mean our enemies couldn't strike at them anytime they felt like. I was feeling restless and worried. Two of my men were ordered to follow and keep an eye on them. If anything was to happen to them I could never forgive myself.
