I woke up early because I couldn't sleep much.
I couldn't stop thinking about how sad Rick looked when he was talking to me. He sounded hurt and angry over our safety, was he pretending, or was he telling the truth. I had no idea all I knew was that I wasn't suppose to trust anyone.
I carefully moved from the bed, making sure Ruby was still sleeping. I fixed my night robe and walked out of my room then went downstairs.
I frowned when I saw the door open that led outside.
It was past 4 am and it was still dark outside. I walked to the door to close it when I heard a low whimper coming outside.
I quickly came out of the house following the whimper that was getting loud, luckily the whole place had light stands everywhere. As I got closer I could hear Rick's voice cle
