I had thought for some reason that Nate's loyalty was torn between Rick and Cleo. I was actually wrong because his loyalty lay with Cleo. He was ordered to make sure I stayed behind, but here I was walking in one of the most expensive jewelry stores with Cleo.
All the customers quickly left. Nate with a few bodyguards stayed at the door with their backs towards us. The owner of the store was a beautiful blond with dark green eyes, she wore an expensive suit that gave her figure a great boost, she looked like she was in her late thirties and seemed more than happy to welcome us.
