We sat on the table quietly eating. Rick looked very pissed while Cleo looked so exhausted for some reason. Nate was standing next to us with his gaze fixed on the ground.
I looked at Ruby who was in my arms eating her piece of cake with a smile. She really liked it when someone spoiled her.
After we came downstairs for breakfast I gave her a slice of bread to eat. But for some reason Rick gave her a piece of cake, she got happy that she seemed not to mind that he had scared her last night.
"Cleo, how was your night?" I asked Softly.
She looked at me then put her tea cup down ( on the table ).
"It was terrible, I had a lot of things to handle the whole night. I couldn't sleep." She answered then smiled.
"How was yours?" She asked Softly.
