"Has anyone seen a cat roaming around?" I ask through link to the entire pack. Surely someone has seen Loki. "Yes. He's with me." I hear Stefanie reply and I feel relieved knowing the cat is safe with her. "Could you bring him to Jenn's room please?" She tells me she will be right up, and I tell Jenn the good news.

A knock is heard on the door and I open it up to let my best friend inside. "LOKI!" Jenn exclaims happily as she takes the cat from Stef. "Thank you so much for finding him! I was so worried." She expresses her genuine gratitude to Stef.

"I think I know who let him out of Jenn's room." I look at Stef and she tells me she will talk to me in private about it. Plopping onto the bed like it's her own room, she looks at Jenn. "So! How was the concert?"

My heart fills with such happiness as Jenn talks about it and how it was the best date of her life.

"I can tell," Stef smirks as she gestures to my bite mark on Jenn's neck. This causes my beautiful mate to blush.

"Anyway." Jenn clears her throat. "I have to be going now. I will see you both later." Stef looks confused, "Where are you going this early?" Rolling her eyes, Jenn replies. "Work."

After she leaves, I miss her already. "Okay. Talk." I state as Stefanie and I are in the Alpha floor dining room with our close friends. "Well, when I brought Loki up to you and Jenn, the scent of s*x confirmed my suspicion." Dan, being Dan, had to speak up, "Damn! Took about time you tapped that sweet ass!" My blood boiled and I couldn't contain both creatures in my head as we punched Dan in the face. "Sorry, Gamma, but you will not speak about Jenn in a disrespectful manner like that."

He stands to his feet, brushing his shoulders off like nothing just happened. "Understood, Beta." He rolled his eyes as he called me by my title. Being friends, we don't usually call each other by our titles when we are alone. But, when I'm angry, I tend to do so.

"Continue," I say to Stef.

"Anyway, before I was rudely interrupted, I put one and one together. I had heard seen Nicole early this morning crying as she returned to her room with a water bottle. Being that she is obsessed with you, Josh, I think she may have seen or heard you and Jenn having sex."

"What was she doing on our floor?" I ask and she turns her direction to Dan.

"Dude, really?"

"What? A man has needs." He shrugs.

"What's the big deal? It's just a cat." Adam chimes in, causing Stefanie to punch his arm.

"It's a big deal because that cat is special to my mate!" I yell at him. He puts his hands up in a surrender motion. "Okay, okay. Sorry."

"Guys, it's 8 a.m." Stef states. Being the head warriors, she and Adam are in charge of training. Which starts at 8 a.m sharp. The two scurry out of the room and head outside. "Guess I should wake Zach up." Alison slowly stands. I swear, she and Zach are the sleepiest wolves I have ever known. I'm surprised she even joined us this morning for breakfast, she never does.

"I'll meet you all in a little bit. I have to go have a little chat with Nicole."

Taking a deep breath, I knock on Nicole's door. She looks at me with wide eyes, clearly surprised that it's me at her door. "Josh! Hi, come in." She smiles at me. "To what do I owe this delightful surprise visit? I was about to shower, if you want to join." She scrunched up her nose, obviously disgusted that she can smell Jennifer on me.

I let out a low growl, pissed that she would even suggest a thing. "Quit the bullshit, Nicole. I know it was you who let Loki out. This sick obsession you have with me needs to end. Let me make myself perfectly clear to you, I have NO interest in you. In fact, you repulse me. Now, if you try to harm Jennifer in any sort of way, Luna Heather is going to be the least of your worries. You will have to deal with me personally." I knew that would frighten her, because as sweet as the Luna is, she is one woman you don't want to mess with.

"With all due respect, Beta, get out of my room. NOW." She holds back her tears as she opens her bedroom door, gesturing for me to leave.

"Gladly," I state through a clenched jaw. Nicole has me so angry, that I feel bad for whoever I will be sparing with today during training.
