Stalker

"Busy?" Ron asked while I was dumping my notes and book inside my bag.

"As fvck." I said and stood wearing the sling of my bag on my right arm.

"You found a part time job or something?"

I shrugged and tapped his shoulder before walking to the door.

"So you're not going with us tonight?"

I raised my arms. "Can't. I'm a busy man now, Ron." I chuckled and walked out of the classroom to the locker hallway.

I emptied my bag and placed everything in my locker except my phone and earphones. I didn't need my books and notes because I already did my homework.

I threw my empty back on my back and walked out of the campus and made another way to my doom.

I bumped into Joanne when I went inside the building.

"Hi." She greeted me.

"Hey."

"Signing in, little intern?" She asked and I wasn't s happy when they kept on calling me little intern when intern itself will do.

"Yeah, you?"

She sighed. "I'm going out to buy coffee for Mr. Lebeau. The coffee maker broke."

"Oh. That's awful. I can accompany you to the coffee shop if you like." I said because I didn't want to see Zeus' face yet.

"But Mr. Lebeau might be waiting for you."

I shook my head and smiled. "No, of course not. I can still accompany you. Anyway, the coffee shop is a few metes away from the parking lot." I said.

"That coffee maker was so old. Maybe it already reached its limit." She said after ordering the coffee and we were already waiting for the order.

"Maybe." I said and the lady asked for the name and wrote at the cap then gave Joanne's order before we exited the shop.

"Can't he buy another coffee maker?" I said as we walked back to the building.

Joanne chuckled. "I don't think so. Do you know how old that coffee maker? Its almost 10 years old and I guess Mr. Lebeau has a thing about spending money to small things. He's very keen on spending money wisely."

I raised a brow. "Yeah, like the TV in his office? He doesn't even use it. Was it for decor?"

Joanne shrugged.

We walked and went together inside Zeus' office and he raised his head from the paper he was reading.

"Your coffee, sir." Joanne placed the coffee with The CEO written on the cap.

"Thanks, Joanne." Zeus said and Joanne exited the office.

I stood in front of him while he continued on reading the papers.

"I want you to arrange the papers in my drawers." He said and stood up. "I need to go somewhere." He picked the coffee and brought it with him as he went outside his office.

I started arranging all the document inside his drawers. It was filled with white folders. It took me for a long while and Zeus didn't come back yet. I was so thirsty and I glanced at the fridge.

"Screw him." I said and gabbed a water bottle from the fridge and drained it. I glanced at the newly stocked chocolates. Zeus and his sweet tooth!

It was weekend and I felt bored so I decide to go to the hospital and visit mom.

She was the same as before. Sleeping without waking up and I told her about Zeus. How I met him and then how I became his servant.

"He is a pain in the ass." I ranted. "An asshole. Just saying his name alone make my blood boils."

I looked at mom and sighed. I looked into my watch and was surprised that it was one in the afternoon already without feeling hungry.

I kissed mom's forehead before I went out of my room and walked to the hallway of rooms and I hate how it made me feel eerie. I was approaching the nurse station when I saw someone so familiar. I turned my head back and I was so scared to see Zeus there.

"Are you a stalker?" I said and Zeus glared at me and then followed by a surprised look.

Wow, he knew how to act.

"Stalker?" He said.

"Yes! You!" I pointed him and he sneered.

"You think I'm here because I'm stalking you?" He said and I nodded. "You got a more serious disorder." He said.

"Excuse me?"

"Mr. Lebeau."

I turned when someone interrupted us. He was obviously a doctor and Zeus and him shook hands.

"Did you meet Dr. Chase already?" He asked.

"I did." Zeus answered and they talked a little and said their goodbyes.

He had an appointment to one of the doctors there. Guess I was wrong about him stalking me.

Zeus looked at me after the doctor was gone. "Or I could say you were the one stalking me?"

I chuckled humorlessly. "Dream on." I said and walked out of the hospital as fast as I could.

God, I hate him!
