Bond Papers

I felt like I was in an editing company like what I said to Steve. I got to encode a lot of documents and my eyes were starting to hurt but I endured it until I finished everything that Zeus gave me. I clicked the save icon a lot of times, raping the T-pad over and over.

"I'm going to destroy this button so you won't give me the same reason like you forgot to fvcking save it and made me encode it again and again until my fingers drop!"

I felt a little good after venting my anger on the T-pad and I didn't care if I destroyed it. He's rich and he could buy the same expensive laptop brand as many as he want.

Zeus was away for a meeting and the office was quiet. I minimized the document and browsed the internet, checking my f*******: in an incognito mode so I don't have to delete the history.

I was startled when the door suddenly opened and Zeus came in. I immediately pressed Ctrl and W and clicked the document tab.

I watched him walked to his table and sat at the chair and checked his phone.

I heard he was in his early thirties but he looked young, like late twenties and he's good looking.

"You're still here?" He said when he glanced at me. I closed the pc and stood up.

"Yes and I'm leaving." I said as I checked the time in my phone. It was already six thirty-eight and Steve's going out at seven. I must arrive home first before he does.

"I didn't said you can go." He said and I didn't hide the annoyance in my face.

"So, you still have another job for me?"

"Bring me the pc." He said.

I picked the pc and placed it on his table. Does he know I used the internet? If he does, I bet he would extend my working days there.

"I saved it already." I said and he smiled.

"Good." He said and I didn't know but I felt annoyed hearing it from him. It sounds like I was his dog and he was praising me for doing something good like fetching a bone. "You can go."

"Thank God." I muttered and walked out of the office.

"You know where the storage room?" Zeus asked the moment I went inside his office. His eyes were glued on the laptop screen and didn't even looked at me. This rude motherfvcker.

"So?" I said he looked at me with his typical cold greenish eyes.

"I want you to get me some A4 bond paper." He said and I focused on not blinking or looking away first because I wanted to tell him that his cold intimidate eyes couldn't intimidate me.

"Go." He said before looking away and I couldn't help but grin at him. "Childish." I heard him muttered before I went outside his office. It made my blood boiled but I fought it.

I marched to the storage room which was a long walk because it was at the other end of the floor and the room didn't look like what I was expecting. It just looked like a regular office room and stocks of bond papers and boxes of I didn't know what were there.

I picked one ream of bond paper and walked back to his office. I saw Joanne went out of Zeus' office and I smiled at her when she smiled.

"Looking good." She said and I chuckled.

"Yeah. You too." I said. She was in her late twenties and she was always the one to bring Zeus his afternoon coffee.

I went inside his office and placed the ream of bond paper on the side of his table earning a look from Zeus. I glanced at the untouched coffee beside his pc.

"I said four reams." He said making me frown.

"No, you didn't." I said and he looked at me in the eyes.

"Yes, I did and you're going back to the storage room." He said with final tone in his voice and I gritted my teeth in annoyance before I stormed outside his office.

I wanted to smash the pack of bond paper on his face and I imagined it inside my mind as I walked back to the end of the floor. I took another three more reams and it was a little bit heavy.

I pushed the door with my side and someone was there. She looked at me then to Zeus.

"Where would you need those bond papers?" She asked and I placed it on his table at the top of the first ream.

"It's for Karen." He said without looking away from the pc. I thought I was the only one he treat me like that. He was really born rude and annoying.

"Oh and this boy is your little intern? From what I heard."

"Yeah." He said and looked at me. I was about to ask what I was going to do next. "You bring these to Karen." He said.

"Great." I couldn't help but voiced my annoyance. Karen's office was like half way to the storage room. I knew some of his employees, especially in the same floor of his office, because they approach me and introduced themselves and I sometimes ask for directions.

I picked the bond papers and walked out cursing Zeus in my mind. I walked to Karen's office and she was surprised to see me.

"Hi, Cameron." She greeted as I placed the bond paper on her desk.

"Hey."

"What's with all these?" She asked and I frowned.

"From Zeus." I said. I was the only one who calls Zeus, Zeus because I didn't feel like calling him Mr. or sir. Beside, I wouldn't be receiving any money from him.

"Oh, I only needed one of these." She said and drummed the pile of bond paper.

"He said four." I said and I just realized that that Zeus was only messing with me. He just did it to annoy me and maybe he doesn't have a job for me. "He was messing with me." I muttered.

I didn't returned immediately to his office and went to the pantry. They offers free food so I couldn't miss the chance.

I made my own coffee and they had bagels which I think was common there. They love those things and I wasn't complaining.

I was taking my sweet time there eating and thinking about things. About my mother making me sigh. Karen went inside and sighed in relief.

"At last, I've been looking for you little guy." She said. "Mr. Lebeau was looking for you."

I nodded and finished my coffee and bread before walking outside after Karen.

I couldn't wait until I am finished with being Zeus's intern.

Yeah, if you didn't just messed with his car and bumped at him, your life would have been great.

I groaned. It wouldn't be any greater any way because it wasn't anymore when s**t interfered with my life.
