19 years later The sun was shining at its peak. The golden lava flooded the atmosphere with its warmth. The place is another heaven on the earth to live a peaceful life. Vancouver is one of the most populated cities in Canada, if someone wants to find a person here, they probably won't as the density of the population here is diversified.  And being the warmest city, even in the winters are another reason for hiding away from the race of snow creatures. Elijah is working hard to earn respect and money to raise a daughter alone. He is glad that he is able to provide his only family a normal life, away from the wicked schemes that will happen in the kingdom.  He always kept his eye on his daughter. Though they lead an ordinary life like humans, Elijah trained his daughter as a warrior. In case of emergency, she should know how to defend herself. It's been over 19 years and there is this void in his heart that hasn't filled. The emptiness hollowed him from the inside but he never gave up on his promise to save his daughter from the predictions of his witch friend. Nobody, except Travis has contacted him and Elijah never tried to contact anyone he knows. In the eyes of his family, friends and his lover, he is dead, for a good reason. He feels this pain of betraying them and the dreams of Silver still haunts him. He was back from his shift on the seaport. Working as a supervisor is not an easy job. It took him a lot to get to this position and provide his daughter a better lifestyle and education. Tomorrow will be a very special day for him, his little baby girl will be in college. It will be the first day of her college. He rang the doorbell and waited for his daughter to open the door for him. The door gets unlocked and beautiful green eyes peeked through it. "Dad! You are back early?" Abria asked in surprise. "Yep! And I have brought your favorite pizza too." He smiled and put the carry bags on the table. Elijah turned and kissed her daughter's forehead. "Are you excited for tomorrow?" He asked. "I am anxious. I don't know what kind of people I will meet there. You know what, my friend Elle told me the University of British Columbia is one of the most reputed universities in the whole of Canada." She stated. "Isn't it good? Students die to get an admission in reputed colleges. And I trust you. I know you will be fine." Elijah supported her and she smiled ear to ear. Father and daughter shared the pizza together and watched a movie as Elijah promised her. Abria slept on his father's lap. Elijah caressed her head and smiled. His gem is all grown up, he can't be happy anymore. He covered Abria with a duvet and let her sleep. He filled a glass of his favorite white wine and stared at the picture of his beloved. He wanted her with them, as a complete family but the destiny had other plans. Elijah have everything now, a respectable job and position, money to spend, car and everything except his lover. His eyes filled with tears as the memories of his and Silver appeared as flashbacks. There was not a single day he forget to greet her good morning and good night before sleeping. It was his daily routine.  Nineteen years! Such a long time to stay away from someone you love. He was dying without love but it was his daughter who kept him alive all these years. His little princess is his world.  "Daddy!" Abria called him. Elijah quickly wiped his tears and faced to her with a warming smile. "Yes, sweetie! I thought you were sleeping." Abria noticed the transparent bottle placed on the table and her curled up lips pressed in a thin line. "The doctors advised you not to drink. It will affect your liver." She yelled. "I drink occasionally, and I am happy for your success. That's why I am drinking but I am still sober, honey. You should be in your bed. You have to wake up early." "Dad! Please, stop making excuses. I know that you can't die drinking too much alcohol but I can't see you suffer like that. Why don't you go out and date someone?" She asked with furrowed brows. Elijah chuckled on her daughter's statement, "I don't want to date another women beside your mother. She has taken my heart long time ago and haven't returned it back to me. Do you want a heartless man like me to date someone?"  Abria frowned, "which movie's dialogue is this? You do try coverup things badly." She rolled her eyes. Abria holds the bottle and discards it in the trashcan.  "No more drinks. That's enough for today! I really hate seeing you cry for a woman who still thinks that you are dead." She commented. "Don't say that, abby! She is your mother. You can't disrespect her." Elijah scolded his daughter in drunken state. "Yeah! Yeah!" She puts a deaf ear on Elijah's scolding and took her father to his room. After settling everything, abria went to sleep. In the kingdom of Verglasia Two servants are dragging heavy luggage to the primary entrance of the palace. There were maiden waiting in servicing the royals.  The king and the queen were standing with their son, Dwyn! Who is excited than anyone else. And why not? It will be the first time he is leaving the kingdom's ground to study abroad. "Are you still sure about this decision? Don't nag latter that you miss your son." Lucian whispered in Silver's ear. Silver calmly replied, "yes I reconsidered it hundreds time and I have decided that it will be good for our son. We are going to live a long life and we rule this kingdom till we die. In that time, I want my son to learn new things from the outside world. I don't want him to stick here around and do nothing productive." "Since when you become so strict in parenting? I thought it would be my part as a father to teach his son lessons." Lucian complaint. "Oh my loving husband, stop being so rude. I know you wanted to teach our son some special skills of yours but he can learn that later, maybe in next twenty or thirty years." She stated in a mocking manner. Daphne and Zojar arrived at the palace with their son, Igor. They have an amusing expression pasted on their faces. Dwyn and Igor are brothers from another mother, they were together since birth. They learned everything together and now, they are going to abroad together as well. "Boys are extremely excited." Daphne commented when she noticed the young Princes parted with their parents to negotiate in private. "Yes, they seems to be and why not? If it would be me at their place, I could not stop overreacting." Silver stated. Lucian turned to face them, "Zohar and Daphne, the boys will be your responsibility. Keep your eyes open and senses alert. You know what I mean." "This is the thousandth time you are saying this. Come on, Lucian, just cheer up a bit." Silver yelled at him. Zohar and Daphne wanted to burst out in laughing but did not dare to angry their king. "Don't worry, your majesty! They will be fine under our supervision. We will stay near the college campus, in case they need our help." Zohar assured the king. Lucian nodded his head in agreement. "Boys! Get in, it's time to leave." Daphne called them and they all hoped in the car. Silver's eyes watered but she wiped it, "Dwyn! Call me when you reach safely." "Of course! Mom, I will call you. But please, take care of my grumpy dad." Dwyn stated sarcastically. Silver kisses his forehead and they all departed from the palace. "How does it feels?" Lucain asked while putting his hand on her shoulders. Silver cried, "it feels heavy!" "I knew you will cut again." "I am happy for him, it's just that if I had my daughter with me, she would be going with her brother to the college today." Silver sobbed. Lucian's eyes soften, "I tried every possible thing to get her. I still don't understand how someone managed to hide her." "I hope if she is alive, she lives a great life." Silver prayed and the couple went inside the palace.
