Chapter 21: Swimming in her dreams

“Stressed? Of course I am stressed! I doing the job which the Mother Universe and Father Light have literally decreed needs two people! With none of the perks either!” Lux shouted frustrated at Richard and Eric in the dream realm. 

Richard, Eric , Dion, Harper and Edward were all having a meeting in the dream realm. Currently they were all sitting round a table that was located in the clouds, but the location changed fairly regularly. This was making it difficult to concentrate.

“You have Dion to help!” Eric pointed out.

“Please! Kitten has not listen to me since the I helped Raoul kidnap her” Dion said with a sigh.

“Well that is a f*****g surprise isn’t it?” Edward said as the table’s location suddenly became a beach.

Dion just shrugged in reply.

“See? I have to look after thee Goddess of wild magic, so I am sorry if sometimes I make mistakes!” Lux said

Richard banged the table almost breaking it. “You made her doubt her mating bond with me, that is not a small thing to do Lux!” Richard roared.

“But I did stop her finding out about a self sacrificing spell!” Lux roared back.

Dion sighed as he knew it was about to kick off. The table seem to sense the mood and transported them all to the centre of a volcano.

“Chaos!” Eric said seeing where they where.

“You are fine Eric, as long as we stay near the table” Harper said and Eric nodded.

“Why would she want to know a spell of that nature?” Richard said with eyes narrowing. Amon was pacing in the back of his mind already, he had felt the sting when Jamie had briefly questioned their bond. Amon was furious when he found out that it was caused by what Lux had said. Richard had finally  managed to calm him down. Now Richard sensed Amon was anxious and wanted more then anything to be at his mate’s side. 

“Who knows? But we threw her off the scent. The Queen was not happy about either of us stepping  in” Dion said.

“Why does she have to make this so hard?” Richard said exasperated

“I don’t know, but I just...just having this feeling” Harper said quietly. This made Richard even more concerned. Harper was a descendant of the Demon of Famine, but his mother was an oracle. Often the quite one, Harper often saw more then anyone.

“Have you seen anything?” Richard asked anxiously 

“No” Harper said.  Richard relaxed before Harper continued “But that is the problem”

“What do you mean?” Edward asked

“Meaning, normally I can see Jamie’s future, but..” Harper said his eyes narrowing

“But what?” Lux said

“I can’t see beyond 3 weeks, someone is blocking me. Someone very powerful!” Harper said

“Which means one thing, the higher God’s are meddling” Edward sighed.

“Lux..” Richard said

“Watch her every move like some sick stalker?” Lux said rubbing his temples.

“It won’t be for long, 3 weeks max and then you get to Loki play on the battlefield” Richard said gently. He knew he was putting a massive burden on his friend, but he had no choice.

Lux smiled and said “I don’t mind Richard, you know that. She is like a sister to me, I am just worry.”

“I know my friend. I am forever grateful” Richard said.

“What about us? We been freezing are arses off for months!” Edward moaned. 

“Want to swap?” Lux said

“Nah, you are ok. Princess is far too clever for me” Edward said with a smirk and Lux grumped.

“Do you know where she is now?” Richard asked.

Lux closed his eyes for a few moments before saying “Hmm she is swimming with whales at the moment. Must be all the time she spent with the Merpeople” 

“Can you take us to her?” Eric asked hopefully.

Jamie was enjoying her dream, she was in the Aqua blue sea with the sun rays glistening through the water. Jamie was swimming with a blue whale and a calf. The calf was still young, but old enough to come and investigate her. Jamie was playing a chase game when she heard Lux’s voice.

“Jamie? Can you come to us?” Lux said. As soon as she heard the word “us” her heart fluttered with excitement. Jamie focused on Lux’s voice and closed her eyes. When she opened them she was in the middle of a forest. There stood Lux in between, Eric and Richard.

“Ermmm I think that I leave you all too it!” Lux said and it was then she realised she was naked! 

“Oh!” Jamie said embarrassed as she tried to cover herself.

“Don’t you dare!” Richard growled as Lux shimmered away.

“I agree, don’t spoil the lovley view” Eric said.

Jamie smiled “yeah, yeah!” Jamie suddenly found herself in two pairs of strong arms. Richard was nuzzling  his mate mark on her and Jamie felt a pang of guilt.

“I am sorry Richard” She murmured and Richard crushed his lips on hers and quickly demanded access to her mouth. He broke of the kiss and cupped her face in his hands.

“Don’t you ever question our bond again!” Richard said with his eyes black. Jamie knew it was Amon talking.

“I know, I am sorry” Jamie said and Richard smiled. He could feel Amon relax, meaning all was well.

“Hello Darling!” Eric said and Jamie turned to Eric. 

“You are always so Kind” Jamie said with a smile as she kissed him.

“Only when it comes to you. If someone hurt you though, you would soon see how unkind I can be” Eric said with a crooked smile. Eric did not become the King of the Rogues by being charitable!

“Hmmmm well, remind me never to get on your bad side!” Jamie said with a chuckle.

“You could never do that Princess, unless you leave us” Richard said kissing the back of her neck.

“How could I ever do that?” Jamie said with a moan.

“That is what we like to hear. Now, shall we get reacquainted Fire Sprite?” Eric said as gently moved his hands down to in-between her legs. He could feel her wetness already and he moaned at the thought of entering her. But not yet! He and Richard would tease her a little before, just to remind her that her mates are in charge......sometimes.
