Talia’s POV
Everything happened so fast. In the blink of an eye, the rogues charged towards me. I shifted without thinking and howled. Pack warriors surrounded me, and I realized that they were waiting for my command.
“Don’t kill unless necessary. We need answers,” I mind-linked them. ”Protect the house, protect the kids and protect each other,” I added while running towards the rogues.
Growls and sneers filled the air. It was pure chaos. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Declan joining the fight as he shifted midair landing next to a few of our pack warriors. The biggest rogue caught my eye and let out a deep growl showing its canines. My wolf growled back as the rogue ran full speed in my direction. As soon as it reached me, it struck out at me. I dodged quickly and went to attack.
