Shane’s POV
Leaving Lia behind was not easy. The further away I got from her, the more it pained me. Not only did I feel my own pain, but I felt hers as well. But I needed to do this. This was for her safety.
We were running in formation with me in the front when I felt an unknown presence to the left. Then I heard paws hit the ground as whoever it was tried to run away, and it wasn’t alone. We were officially off the pack lands and entered the rogue territory. Not that rogues had a territory, but this was where they stayed the most. Around pack lands trying to scout for easy prey.
“Ryan, Kyle go left,” I mind-linked them and they instantly left the formation.
“The rest of you, follow me.”
