UKI (the mystical being) POV: Uki was able to arrive at the palace without anyone seeing his face. He was fully clothed with an old but clean white linen that actually attracted some villagers but his face was covered with a cloak that made it difficult to see his face. On his way to the palace, he noticed alot had changed all these years he had excluded himself to the forest. There were more houses and he couldn't help but wonder what type of fashion was in trend. Ladies no longer wore clothings that fully covered their body. The last time he was here, ladies were always cautious of their bodies, preventing any part from being exposed. I guess it's no longer that way. It was almost getting dark when he arrived the palace entrance, he didn't bother going into the palace as the wedding was going on outside. He made his way to a safe spot where he will be able to see and hear properly. He just relaxed himself close to a tree by the side of the palace and watched the group of people already gathered while some where still making their way in. Uki saw some men standing close to a stage that had some chairs which he guessed were meant for Royalties. From his stand, he noticed the resemblance between the Chief and the way the younger version was dressed in a traditional way. His smile was not genuine which also matched the way the older man was smiling and that's when it clicked! These men must be the ones his friend, King Erun told him about. The old man and his son looked greedy but with a covered smile. These men are actually after the throne and this marriage just served them their dream on a platter. He watched as an elderly man walked over to the front of the gathering and announced the king's arrival. Immediately the little chat from different groups seized and everyone turned their attention towards the entrance as the king walked in with some guards and two servants, holding the kingdom's staff of authority, I guess. I watched as they slowly guided the king to his seat. One of the elderly men hailed the king and everyone present responded as they all bowed their heads in respect. I saw my friend struggling to hide his weakness as he waived to his people. Looking at the faces of everyone here, I could tell friends from enemies. A middle aged man stood before the king as he performed certain rituals which was new to me but I just kept watching. All of a sudden, I heard drum beats coming from the gate that leads to the palace and the young man who was beating the drum came out while some maidens who were singing also came out with the drummer as they kept dancing to the drum beat. Curious eyes were watching the dancers and then the drummer stopped beating and began inviting the Princess to come out. I got interested to see who the daughter of my friend is. Soon, the princess slowly walked out from the door. I couldn't take my eyes off the beauty walking towards the king. The lamp stand at each post illuminated her glowing dark skin, her round face was perfectly carved and the way she carries herself is gracious. For once, I felt my heart beat.
