The Royal envoys wasted no time in exposing the truth, revealing all that had transpired in Jax’s throne room.
Witnessing the king cold-bloodedly kill one of their own forced them to speak up, fearing they may be next in line.
In that moment, they couldn’t help but recall the saying that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
In their eyes, Jax was a younger version of his father, not only in appearance but also in his barbaric behaviour.
However, his father possessed even greater power, instilling a deep fear within them.
King Jayden seemed to be like a demonic beast, ready to tear them apart for any mistakes they might make.
This earned him the title of the Demon King in their minds.
After hearing all the details, it became clear to the king that the envoys he had sent had purposely made things difficult for Jax, even though he had just achieved a great victory by defeating a thousand Orcs and capturing three of them for interrogation that the envoy had even brought back.
The king felt they all deserved punishment.
But upon remembering that his son had already killed one of the envoy ands he himself had executed another, he decided to let it go.
As he felt This would serve as a warning to anyone foolish enough to challenge the J Royal Family.
“Ha ha ha, a lion could never give birth to a dog, He is truly my son,” King Jayden laughed, pride evident in his voice. With a wave of his hand, he finally released the royal envoys, who sighed with relief.
The weight of being in the presence of the king felt like carrying a mountain on their backs.
The pressure was suffocating, making them question the sanity of those who had insulted Jax.
The blood relation between father and son was undeniable, evident to anyone who saw them together. No DNA test was necessary to prove it, they look completely alike with King Jayden looking like the older and mature version.
They swiftly left the palace, their minds occupied by the thoughts of how Jax had even killed a thousand Orc soldiers.
Oddly enough, in an empty throne room, King Jayden asked a question , even though he was the only one in the throne room
“Harpy! What do you make of my small boy slaughtering Orc soldiers?”
“I had some of the shadow soldiers keep an eye on him, and it was evident that the soldiers you dispatched to protect him never reached him, thanks to your other child, Jerome,” a voice resounded in the room, addressing King Jayden.
“That little brat, he hasn’t changed one bit in his scheming ways. He can never surpass me. Sometimes I think he only inherited his mother’s blood, as he is too cunning for my liking,”
King Jayden replied, stroking his bearded chin while resting his jaw on his free hand. Thoughts of all his children crossed his mind, and a wild smile bloomed on his face.
“Why is your smile so mischievous?” the echoing voice questioned once again.
“I am simply glad that my son has finally embarked on the path of becoming a warrior. You and I both know what happened at his birth. The poor boy lost his mother and was labelled a bastard throughout most of his childhood. Ha ha ha,”
King Jayden laughed, brushing off the past.
“Why are you laughing? He has grown up despising you! He has no loyalty towards you whatsoever. I don’t understand how he managed to recruit such strong soldiers who now stand by his side or how he developed his Village into a small town so remarkably. But with his progress, I believe he could soon become a Tier 2 king,” the voice expressed concern.
“Another Tier 2 king, huh?, Well, I can’t wait to improve my ranking among the Tier 4 human Kings in the next assessment, And as for his hatred towards me, humph, who cares? All I know is that his hatred is propelling him forward,” King Jayden shrugged.
“Harpy, he is just like me. My hatred towards my father made me the great king I am today. None of my other children possess that genes of hatred within them.”
“ But from the moment I looked into his eyes on the day he was born, I was certain that he would be my legacy. So, let that hate fuel him, and let’s witness how great of a king he may become,” King Jayden explained before letting out a yawn and rubbing his weary eyes.
“I am so sleepy. I suppose I should go to bed,” he declared before promptly vanishing into his chambers.
“What a lazy bum,” the voice in the darkness commented one last time before the hall returned to silence.

If only Jax knew that the little progress he had made was being reported back to his father, he would tremble at the speed at which messages travelled in this new world, even without advanced technology.
Having just finished breakfast with his wife, Alicia, who had gone to oversee the mining progress around their town, Jax took a moment to reflect.
Ever since he paid the builders to fortify the walls, they had enlisted Connor’s help in clearing out the beasts near the mining area.
Their plan was to construct another line of defense after the mining positions, making it a mini Fortress, closer to the town, before building around it before the town upgrades to a city.
The new development had instilled a sense of security in the miners, who were now protected from the beasts that used to disrupt their work.
There were always barbarian soldiers around, safeguarding the new walls of the second line of defense.
Jax observed the people around the kingdom using the map camera, keeping a watchful eye.
Suddenly, he saw the archer queen entering the hall.
She bowed and greeted him, handing him a letter that had been delivered to the kingdom.
“Thank you,”
Jax acknowledged as he began reading the contents of the letter.
Upon finishing, a chuckle escaped his lips.
“So, it is finally beginning, sss queen, inform Connor to gather everyone, We will travel to my father’s capital tomorrow.”
“It’s about time I witness the look of shock on their faces when I return back there,” Jax added with a smirk, glancing at the person standing by his side.
This individual resembled a mini-giant, adorned in heavy infantry gear with an axe at his back, a Large hammer on his right hand, and a large shield strapped to his left hand.
