Settling in for the night with my Chinese take-out, I scroll through my phone. Everyone’s happy pictures from Christmas yesterday fills me with mixed emotions. I guess it’s normal to get a little nostalgic around the holidays. Especially when the only thing I had really been looking forward to was a relaxing day with friends and family, but that didn’t happen. I did manage to make it out to my parent’s house for dinner, even though I was a little late, still it was nice to be able to see everyone. Unfortunately, I’d missed Ben’s call, and had to settle for texting him, since I was so tired by the time I’d gotten home that all I was capable of doing was falling face first onto my bed.
