Chapter 7

As Heather was sitting in Bella's front room helping each other with homework and watching some kind of game that Charlie was watching with Billy and Jacob. Jacob came over to hang with Bella, but since they're doing homework, he was watching the stupid. Paul was with Sam and them looking for the vampire so he wasn't with his girlfriend.

"Heather, did you figure out what number 17 was?" The older girl asked.

"Umm," the younger girl hums while looking at her notes. "Yea, it was 6^¹²*4^⁴³=1.68."

"Really, damn I was doing it wrong. I was doing 6*12=72 4*43=172. So 172*72=244."

They both laugh and shrugged it off. The work they were doing was the hardest they were doing. But hey it was there junior year, what else could they be doing. They couldn't wait for their senior year.

After a while they finished their homework and the girls went up to the oldest girls room and when they walked in, Edward was standing in there staring out the window.

While Heather was in Mystic Falls dealing with what she was dealing with, Bella had went with Alice to Italy to save the short hair girls brother from killing himself over because he thought Bella was dead. Alice had saw a vision of the girl jumping off a cliff but didn't see her getting pulled out by Heather. Alice can't see anything due with Bella when she's with the wolves. So Alice has told Rosalie about her vision on why she was leaving. But Rosalie a peer b***h, what Heather calls her, after all that Bella has told her about the blonde vampire, told Edward about Bella dying.

When Heather came back from putting her mother 6 feet down, Bella was grounded until further notice. But Charlie let me come over to do homework with Bella. That was it, other than when Billy came over it allowed Jacob to come over to hang with her.

"What hell are you doing here?" Heather had asked as she stood in front of Bella.

"I came to talk to Bella. She is my girlfriend after all." Edward had said as he stood there.

"Well there is call phone or even knock at the door to come in." Heather started to say. "She's grounded because of you."

That made Edward turn around and looked at the two girls.

"If she's grounded then why are you wolves here then." He has asked.

"It doesn't concern you why were here."

"Okay, you two. Heathers is here to help me with homework. Jacob came with his father to watch the game with my father." The older girl said.

He nodded but still glaring at Heather. Which was starting to piss her off. She balled her hands into fists. Bella noticed it and looked back and forth between the vampire and the wolf.

"I wouldn't want to do that while your so close to her." He had said making Heather more pissed.

"I wouldn't hurt her, like you." Heather growled.

"Hey, hey, Heather. Look at me, go take a walk. Go cool off while I talk to him." Bella told her.

Heather looked at Bella with her hands still in fists then nodded. As she walked out the door, somewhat slamming it shut but no one noticed but Jacob. He was coming into the kitchen when she was running down the stairs.

"Let's go, we can't be here." She told him.

"Why," he started to ask then took a deep breath. "Let me guess Edward upstairs."

Heather nodded, starting to shake from getting pissed. Jacob nodded then pushed her out the door and yelled out to his father and Charlie.

"Dad, Heather and I are taking off. Something came up." Jacob told him.

"Okay, I'll be home after game." He yelled back.

As they got outside, Jacob had pushed Heather into the woods before she had shifted in front of the house. Once she had the packs voices were in her head. Paul the most concern about her being pissed off.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Paul asked.

"That stupid vampire boyfriend of Bella's. He showed up in her bedroom and he pissed me off." Heather told her boyfriend.

"Heather just calm down. Good thing y'all left, Seth and Leah shifted." Sam told them.

"What?" Jacob blurred out.

"Oh man, poor Seth and Leah." Heather said. "Jake, get Seth and I'll get Leah."

"Good idea Heather." Sam told her.

"Is it because she's your ex girlfriend." Jared said.

"No!" Sam growled. "Just do it. Quil should be next, so Embry watch your buddy."

"Gotcha." Embry said.

As Heather and Jacob took off into a faster run towards La Push to talk to the two new wolves.

As for the craziness going on in Mystic falls, everyone trying their hardest to kill off Klaus but is getting really hard for them. They even have little miss sunshine Katherine helping them kill him. She even found his father, Michael, he's a vampire hunter. And has hated Nicklaus since he had turned into monster. He calls him his bastard child.

With the help of his siblings, Rebecca and Elijah, they wasn't very happy about their father coming into town, they were in hiding from him. But since they found out that Klaus had killed their mother, they were going against their wishes.

"After this, I hope you will just leave me alone and let me live my life." Katherine has said them all.

"You live your life?" Damon said. "Your the one that f*****g up our life."

"You tried to kill Elena." Jeremy said. "Plus me as well. Your just lucky I have this ring."

"Okay, everyone." Ric said stepping in between them all. "We got the plan in order. Everyone knows what their doing?"

Everyone nodded. And went their ways. Everyone met at the Lockwood's house for the festival that was going on. As everyone went over there, Katherine played as Elena.

As for Elena, well she was at the Salvatore's border house where it was safe. Bonnie had put a spell on it to keep her safe from any harm from all the vampires. Only ones that were allowed in was the brothers, Jeremy, ric, Caroline, and herself.

While she was taking a nice hot bath, she had called up her best friend.

"Hello?" A woman answered but it wasn't Heather.

"Heather?" Elena asked.

"Oh no, this is Leah. A friend of Heather's. She's in the bathroom."

"Oh can you have her call me."

"Yea sure." The girl said to Elena.

A few moments it was quiet until Elena had heard someone in the background.

"Wait here she is." The older girl told Elena.

"Okay." Elena said to her.

As Leah was handing the phone over to Heather, Elena heard Heather laughing at Leah.

"Hello?" Heather said.

"Hey bestie."

"Elena! Hey how are you."

"I'm fine. Bored as hell though. The brother's are working with my doppelganger and a few of the original vamps to kill Klaus."

"Oh my god really!" Heather said excitedly.

"Yea, Katherine had found Klaus's so called father. He's a vampire hunter but is only wanting to kill his bastard son even though their not family." Elena explained.

"Huh?" Heather said as she was watching Leah do something. Then started laughing.

"Is everything okay?" Elena asked.

"Oh yea, Leah was doing something funny. I'm actually helping her with the whole werewolf thing."

"Hey, you can't tell her that?" Leah yelled in the background.

"Elena already knows, Leah. She knows that I'm a wolf. She's knows more than you think." Heather told Leah. "Speaking of wolves, how's Tyler? Have you seen his wolf?"

"Yea, He's pure black with yellow eyes. He Umm, kinda attacked Caroline but didn't mean to. But Klaus had saved her."

"What do you mean Klaus had saved her?"

"Well werewolf venom is poisonous to vampires and since Klaus is a hybrid his blood is the cure to save you."

"Wow that's f****d up." Heather had said.

"Enough of Klaus, have you guys caught the red head yet?" The sweet girl had asked.

"Nope," Heather said popping the P at the end with more emphasis. "To be honest we haven't seen her around in awhile. I mean one of the Cullen's she can see the future and is keeping track of the red head and would say if she saw she'd tell Bella to tell us. Or even get ahold of one of us. Mostly me since I got to school with them all."

"Oh, well be careful with it all."

"I will. Don't worry. Maybe one of these days, you could come out here and visit. Actually what are you doing in a few weeks, school is almost over. It would be the best summer ever and you can hang with me and some of my friends at the beach." Heather had told her.

"Yea, sure. I can make it a girls trip and bring Bonnie and Caroline."

"YES!" Heather had kinda yelled making the girl move the phone away from her ear.

After she done that, Elena heard a loud noise in the background in the phone.

"Dad! Are you okay?" Heather yelled.

It was quiet.

"Dad!?" She yelled again. "Elena, Ima got and see what that was I'll talk to you later."

"Yea, sure."

When they hung up, Heather had ran downstairs to see where that noise came from. Leah came down with her, looking everywhere in the house. They didn't see Ira in the house anywhere, even went outside. Until they had heard more noises coming from the shed next to the house. When they went over there, they saw the young girl's father.

"Dad! What are you doing?" Heather had asked.

"s**t, you scared the hell out of me." The man had said putting his hand over his chest.

"Sorry, we heard a loud noise so we came to check it out. What are you doing?"

"Oh nothing, really. Just cleaning up in here."

"Ah, well since there's a few weeks left of school, Elena and a few of the girls from back home is gonna come out."

"That's cool. I'll set up that extra room for them to stay in." He had said.

The girl nodded and turned around to go back into the house until she had saw her love. She ran over to him and jumped into his arms and kissed him. Paul had held his ground and wrapped his arms around her lower half to held her up around him.

"Someone sure missed me." He had said after the kiss.

"Well duh. I always miss you." She tells him.

He nodded and walked over to where Leah and Ira was at. As they got to them, he nodded his head at Ira.

"So Sam wants all of us to do an area check around Bella's house and here tonight." Paul told all of us.

"Okay, Leah and I can go over to Bella's,"

"What? Naw, I don't want to do that sorry. I can't even stand the girl. She's hurting Jacob by being with that vampire."

"She's my friend though."

"Sorry, as your friend I can't. Why don't you and Paul go and do it as a couple."

"Fine." Heather said as she got off of Paul.

As end of the day was setting in, Paul and Heather shifted and ran over to Bella's house to keep an eye on things. As they got there, Heather had smelled that one of the Cullen's were there and it was no other than Edward. Heather looked at Paul and rolled her eyes then looked back up to the window. She saw Edward looking out towards us.

"We're just doing an area check for the red head." The girl had said in her head for the vampire to read her mind.

She saw him nod then walked away from the window. Then over heard him tell Bella that we were outside. She came to the window and looked right at us. She waved at me and I nodded my head.

I saw down on my butt and leaned against Paul to somewhat cuddle into him. They were like that for awhile until she had heard noises behind them. She got up and turned around and started to walk to where she heard the noise.

"Heather, what's wrong?" Paul has asked.

"I don't know. I feel something, something weird." She told her love.

When she got closer to where the noise came from she heard it take off. So she taken off herself to follow it. When she got close to it they end up in a clearing and saw it was a black wolf. A small one.

She ran faster, jumped, and pounced on the wolf. She growled at the wolf that was infront of her, the wolf shifted and it was no other than Tyler.

Paul came running into the clearing and saw a naked man standing before Heather. He had growled at the man before Heather had stood infront of him.

"Don't! Its Tyler, a friend of mine or use to be."

"What is he doing here and why is he naked?"

"He's a werewolf." She said then took off behind a tree and shifted to put clothes on. "Tyler!?" The girl said when she came out from behind a tree.

"Heather!? What the hell are you?" Tyler has asked the girl then looked over at the other wolf.

"I'm a wolf, a shapeshifter, we call it. What are you doing here? And as a wolf? Thought you can't shift unless there was a full moon and there isn't one."

"Klaus turned me into a hybrid. He turned a lot of them into one. He caught Elena and used her blood and changed us."

"Wait he caught Elena? When was this?"

"A few weeks ago."

"I was on the phone with her today, why didn't she tell me." The girl ranted off a little. "Why are you even here?"

Tyler looked away for a few moments, when he didn't answer the girl, the very angry wolf was growling at him to speak. Tyler stepped back a few steps making Paul take those same steps being right next to the young girl.

"Answer me before my boyfriend tries to do something. He's not very happy." Heather told him while petting Paul like a dog to calm him down.

"Klaus sent me to check on you. To make sure you were well."

"Why? What does he have to do with me?"

"I don't know. He just told me to come here and spy." He had said.

When Tyler had said that, all you hear was wolves howling. Both Heather and Tyler looked to see where it was coming from then saw Sam and the other's running towards us. Sam got next to Heather and growled then shifted. Didn't care as much to be naked as well as Tyler.

"Your spying on one of our own for a killer." Sam growled at him.

"I didn't want to but he compelled me to. I'm sorry, I wouldn't do that to my best friend."

"No, we're no longer best friends. You hurt my friends, your helping against a killer who killed my mother. I want you to leave Washington now. Go back to to Mystic Falls and tell that asshole of a hybrid to leave me out of his scams or whatever he has planned." Heather told the young wolf as she walked up to him and pointed her finger hard on his chest.

As she was pushing Tyler hard, something came flying fast towards Heather, hitting her in the shoulder. She had yelped then growled at what she saw was in her shoulder. It was a stake. Both Tyler, Sam, and Heather turned to see where it came from and saw someone coming out of the woods. It was a young man and it was one of the youngest of the original vampires. It was Kol.

"Kol!?" Tyler called out.

"Kol as in one of the original vampires."

"Ah you have heard of me. I thought it was only my older brother." The man speaking with a rich British accent.

The wolves were all growling at the strange man that was talking to me like he was crazy. Heather tried to grab a hold of stake in her shoulder but the original had stopped her by sending another stake her way. It went into her leg making her drop down to her knees.

"What the f**k are you doing?" Tyler and Sam had both said at the same time.

Paul was getting really angry but stayed out because he was worried about his imprint. He whined at her and she nodded her head at him. She tried to take out the stake again right when Kol went to throw another one but she caught it and threw it back at him at the same time she took out the one in her leg and threw at him as well. He caught one but the other went into his chest. She went to take the other one out of her shoulder as she was running over to him, stuck it in his back before snapping his neck he had spoke.

"Hope you like wolfsbane that was on those stakes." Kol had said.

"That doesn't work for us." She has said then snapped his neck.

As she walked back over to the others she started to get dizzy but didn't do anything about it.

"You were followed, now take that piece of trash, and get the f**k out of my town. I don't want anything due with my old life. I have enough problems as it is," Heather had said then looked at Paul. "In my new life but I love who I am and who I am with. Now go!" She said pointing to a random direction.

Tyler nodded then went and grabbed Kol and took off. As Heather went over by Paul went to pet him but instead of that, she grabbed ahold of his fur, making him yelp then passed out.

"Heather!" Sam had called out then ran to her.

Paul and the others shifted into their human form. Paul leaned down to her and checked her pulse. She was still breathing but barely.

"Get her to the house Paul." Sam ordered.

"We got to get her to the hospital." Paul said.

"We can't."

"I'll go to Bella's and have Edward get ahold of Dr. Cullen." Jacob said.

Sam nodded. "Have him meet us at her house then."

Paul had shifted and Sam had picked up Heather and laid her on his back before him take off. As Paul ran his fastest with the others behind him to her house, Jacob had went up to Bella's house and threw some rocks at her window.

"Bella!" He whispered yelled. "Bella."

Bella opened up the window and looked out and saw Jacob.

"I'm coming up." Jacob had said then jumped up the tree and landed inside her room.

Edward was standing behind her concern why the wolf was there.

"Jake what's the matter?" Bella asked.

"I need the vampire doctor. Its Heather."

"What? What's wrong with her?" Bella asked.

"Someone from her past came and attacked her." Jacob told them. "So please call him up and meet us at her place."

Edward nodded and got his phone out and called up his father.

"Yes son?" Carlisle answered.

"The pack needs you to go to Heather's place. She was attacked." Edward told him.

"I'm on my way." He said then hung up.

Meanwhile at Heather's place, Paul came running in the house with Heather in his arm's. Ira, Quil, and Billy was sitting in the front room talking when Paul had came running through to go up to her room. Ira and Quil got up worried. Ira ran upstairs behind Paul and Sam as they entered her room.

"What the hell happened?" Ira had asked.

"She was attacked. Jacob is asking a favor from Dr Cullen." Sam told him just as Edward, Carlisle, and Bella came into the room.

"That was fast." Ira said.

"We took off as fast as we heard." Carlisle said.

As they laid her down, Ira touched her head moving her hair out of her face.

"She's burning up. What's wrong with her?" He had asked.

"I don't know yet. What happened?" The Dr asked the boys.

"One of the original vampires showed up after he had followed one of her friends here. And he sent stakes at her. One hit her in her shoulder and one in her leg. She had enough strength to take him out kinda." Sam had said.

"What's wolfsbane?" Paul asked.

"What?" Ira asked.

"That vampire said something about, "Hope you like wolfsbane that was on those stakes". So what is wolfsbane?" Paul asked.

Everyone was quiet at the moment then everyone looked at the Dr.

"Carlisle have you heard of this, in your year of being a Dr." Edward asked.

"If I think what it is, maybe. I might not be 100% sure, son."

Ira got off the bed and went to find her phone. Once he found it, he went through all her contacts until she found Elena's number and called her.

"Heather, its late. What's wrong?"

"Elena,"

"Ira, is everything okay? Is Heather okay?"

"No, but is one of those vampire friends around. The ones I've met back at Heather's moms house." He had asked her.

"Yea, I'm with Stefan and Damon right now. I'll put you on speaker." She had said. "Your on, you can talk to them."

"What do y'all know about wolfsbane?" Ira had asked them.

"Aconitum also known as aconite, monkshood, wolf's-bane, leopard's bane, mousebane, women's bane, devil's helmet, queen of poisons, or blue rocket, is a genus of over 250 species of flowering plants belonging to the family Ranunculaceae. These herbaceous perennial plants are chiefly native to the mountainous parts of the Northern Hemisphere, growing in the moisture-retentive but well-draining soils of mountain meadows. Most species are extremely poisonous and must be dealt with very carefully." Damon had said. "Those who are wolves, use it to put it in their alcohol to get drunk faster or take away pain if their shifting. It hurts them badly."

"Who had hurt Heather?" Stefan had asked.

"Who's Kol?" Paul had asked.

"Kol, he's an original vampire his like over a few thousands years old. The very first vampires to ever exist. Nothing can hurt them but a white oak stake." Damon told them. "Was he the one that hurt her?"

"Yes, he followed some guy name Tyler here." Paul said.

"Tyler!? Why the hell," Damon hissed. "Me and my brother are coming we'll be there in the morning. She'll be fine, it takes awhile to get out of the system."

"Just wrap her up, make sure she's warm, to break the fever." Stefan said.

"Thank you boys for reminding me." The Dr said.

"Dr. Cullen, is there anything you can give her." Ira has asked.

"I'm sorry no, what the brothers have said is true. She'll be fine for tonight. Just do what they said. I'll come back in the morning when they show up.",

After they hung up the phone, the brother's got started packing a few things to take on their trip. Elena done the same and called up Bonnie and Caroline to do the same.

"I don't get why either of those two were there." Damon had said.

"Who knows. Since Kol was there, maybe it had to die with Klaus." Stefan said.

"But she's not a regular wolf like the ones here. What if this kills her?" Elena has brought up.

"It won't." Stefan and Damon said at the same time.

Once the two other girls showed up, they all bundle in Damon's car and drove off as soon as they could. As the time being, Paul had been watching over his imprint, while some of the other wolves have been keeping a watch out for things. Ira had left things to the pack so he could get some sleep for work.

Bella wanted to stay but Edward and the Dr told her no just in case if the original had showed back up again. Jacob and the pack agreed on that with them. It was all about human safety and they were already worried as it was.

They didn't need anymore worried to their list. Bad enough they had to keep an eye out for the red head, the original, and anything else. The wolves were more stressed as it was with newly wolves keeping an watch as well but Leah wanted to be there for her friend and Seth was sunburn as hell. Where his sister was he had to be there even though she was older than him.

Sorry if this took a while. Trying to catch up on all my books. Hope y'all like this chapter, its my own little plotted twist. The ending part wasn't in either of the show or the movie.
