The terrible scenery in front of my eyes was something that I had never wanted to see in my life. It was two lives fighting to live. Sam was lying down in a pool of blood, her entire face and dress were drenched with blood. What happened to her? Who did this? Was it her husband like Zane said? I had seen many murders and bloodshed in my previous life. Especially when we were in the Middle East, I watched first-hand the terrorists attack innocent people. I’ve watched live footage of our soldiers and innocent civilians getting slaughtered. Blood was not a new thing for me, but Sam was someone who had grown close to my heart lately. According to my knowledge, she never hurt anyone, neither did I. Why does God punish the innocents?
