“Hurry up! Nurse, get the defibrillator! Shock her!” I heard a voice yell from far away.
Defibrillator? Shock? Wait, electric shock?! Was I dead? Did I die again?
I knew that God was not kind when it came to my destiny. So that was the last moment I saw Zane, the most beautiful human in the world. I accepted that I didn’t have much time to get to know him and grow close to him, but within the past few days, he touched my heart. On the other hand, I couldn’t find out why Edie shot me and what was the story behind my death—my first death. I didn’t get a chance to investigate the relationship between John and Michael. Plus, I couldn’t find any proof or evidence against Michael to prove that he was a mafia leader.
