"Problema mo?" Kaagad na tanong ni Zylven kay Blaire ng makita nya itong mag isang umiinom ng beer sa garden ng bahay nila ni Tamara.
"Haayy" nangalumbabang pumikit na lang si Blaire.
"Lalim nun ah! si Star bang dahilan?"
Napadilat bigla si Blaire ng marinig ang pangalan ni Star. "Huh! What did you say?"
"Bro, l know everything about you and my cousin Star." Seryosong sabi nya dito saka tinapik ang balikat ng kaibigan.
"Bro, Have you ever wished you could go back? Back to that place, that time, with that person? Back when everything’s all right. Back when you haven’t had the slightest idea that you’d both end up on a different road, with a different companion? Don’t you want to wish to go back and rewrite your ending? Change it into a happier and closer to fairy tale ending and not this nightmare you’re both currently in? Have you ever wish you could go back?"
Umupo si Zylven sa tabi ni Blaire saka nagbukas ng beer at tinungga yun. Nararamdaman nyang mahaba habang usapan ang mangyayari kaya itinuon nyang buong attention sa kaibigan.
"Have you ever thought that maybe there’s price to pay? Like going back in time will cost you your future? Would you still wish to go back and sacrifice your future for the past? Is it worth it? Would everything be worth that much?"
Napailing iling na lang si Zylven. 'Mukhang mabigat ang dinadalang problema nito ah.'
"Blaire, Most of the times, we wish we could go back. Change the things we said, change the things we did. Hoping these changes will make things different. But sometimes, no matter which way you see it, things are where they are supposed to be. You can change what has been done. These things, they happen to teach us a lesson. Without it, we won’t learn. Maybe we just have to accept the fact that these things happen for a reason, and we don’t have the power to change the past. Because the past is the past. What we have now is today, and the best that we could do is live our lives to the fullest so that in the future we will have no regrets."
Uminom muna sya ng beer saka humarap sa kaibigan. "Bro, Live your life today and regret nothing tomorrow."
"I want her back Bro, help me!" Nagsusumamong sabi ni Blaire sa nakakunot noong si Zylven.
"Help? What kind of help you need? Hindi madaling mapaamo si Star, alam mo yan."
"I know that! Kaya nga dadaanin ko sya sa sulat." May bahagyang ngiti ng nakasilay sa labi ng binata.
"Ok, I'm in, but Blaire, If she ever does give up on you, know that it took her a lot of courage to do that, it cost her everything to realize that this too much burden is not for her to carry. She’s the type who would give endless chances, still chooses to trust even after rejections and harsh-evaluations, always chooses to stay and accepts people regardless of their past and mistakes. She’s the type who would be there for you when everyone else thinks you’re hopeless, she will be there for you even when she shouldn’t be. She’s the type who believes that everyone has their goodness in their hearts. She would fight for you even when you don’t deserve to be fought for. She’s the type who keeps on holding on even when she should have let you go a long time ago and chooses to love and understand you even when she has all the reason to leave you. If she ever does give up on you, realize how much it took her to her to get to that point. She may seem strong but she can only allow herself to get hurt so many times until she’s had enough. Napaisip ng malalim si Blaire, nagpaplano ng isip nya sa nararapat gawin para makuhang muli ang tiwala ng dalaga sa kanya.
"Thanks Bro, ikaw ang mag abot sa kanya ng sulat ko ha! Babawi ako kay Star."
"Yeah, sure. Siguraduhin mo lang na hindi kana mag MIA ulit!"
"Anong MIA? anu naman yun?" Magkasalubong ang mga kilay na tanong ni Blaire.
"Naman! MIA lang dimo pa alam Bro? Hahaha." Natatawang napapalatak na sabi ni Zylven sa kaibigan.
Pinukol ng masamang tingin ni Blaire ang tumatawang kaibigan.
"Kalma! Haha, sensya kana na surprised lang ako kasi sa tanda mong yan, MIA lang dimu pa alam? Langya, hahaha."
Hindi na lang umimik pa si Blaire, inabot nyang isang bote ng beer saka nilaklak. Ng mapansin naman ni Zylven ang pananahimik ng kaibigan huminto na rin ito sa kakatawa. Pero maya maya napapangiti pa rin ito. Naiinis na tumayo mula sa pagkakaupo si Blaire saka nag umpisang maglakad papasok ng kabahayan.
"Tangna! Makaalis na nga dito at baka makasapak pako ng epal tsk." Bitbit ang beer nagmadaling pumasok ng kabahayan si Blaire.
"Hey! Missing in action! gandahan mong love letter mo ha! para ma appreciate at ma touch naman si Star at di nya punitin hahaha."
Pahabol na sigaw ni Zylven sa kaibigan na itinaas lang ang kamay at pinakitang gitnang daliri. Noon kahit na anong biruan, game na game si Blaire at ni minsan hindi ito napikon sa kanilang usapan, pero ngayon malaki ng pinagbago nito, nag umpisa lang ng pumasok sa buhay nito si Star.
